Yes, if we go to the lake we are gonna watch the ones they do in Cedar Bluff! It is gorgeous! They shoot them right over the lake and we are right under it in the boat!

Hey everyone!! If I dont' get to talk to you this weekend, I hope everyone has a nice 4th of July!!!

We are planning on hitting the pool and cooking out at my parents house this weekend. We aren't going to the lake this year :( which will be a first in probably 14 years, but we plan on going in 2 weeks. Which is awesome because Harry Potter comes out on July 15th and Chad and I plan on going to see it at the drive-in movie in Centre!! Whoo hooo!!

We have a busy weekend ahead of us this week! We are going back to the lake and then Chad and I are going to see Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince at the drive-in on Saturday night!! Wooo hoooo!!

Today when we were in line at the grocery store she was reading me tidbits on all the articles about Kristen and Edward (whatever his name is in real life -- I can't remember now) breaking up. She catches up on all of her celeb gossip in the checkout line. :laughing:

i was 7 the year that cabbage patch kids came out and were all the rage. my mom and grandmother had to wait in line at toys r us to get me one for christmas that year and mom said it was like a riot when they let everyone in. they had to get me a boy (they knew i'd rather have a girl but they had to take what they could get that year!) and his name was DELBERT DICKY. seriously. that was his name. :lmao: i still have him in my guest bedroom closet.

I loved Cabbage patch kids.. I got my 1st the year they came out! My poor mom had to look everywhere for mine because i only wanted a boy one that had no hair ... LOL I know silly but that is what i wanted... Well that year it seems everyone wanted a boy with no hair cabbage patch.. My mom ended up buying mine from a man in a truck behide the store.. for double the amount...
My mom is the Best!!!!

I'm laughing at this because my parents had three girls and we were all a yr from each other ill be 37 in just a few days and my middle sis just turned 38 a few weeks a go and my oldest sis just turned 39 in May and that yr my parents took my grandma with them because you were only aloud to purchase one each and they needed three! :rotfl2: The things we put our parents through!

I hope everyone had a great weekend!! We went to the lake once again. But....this time we came home with something.

There is a huge flea market type place about 20 minutes from our lake spot. Well, maybe 25 minutes. Anyways, Hollie said the only reason she went was because she wanted to see the bunny rabbits. So, we walked all over the place looking for them. We finally went to the area where they sell pigs, goats, rabbits, etc. They also sell puppies but low and behold...Hollie wanted nothing to do with a new, sweet fluffy mess of fur like a shih-tzu or a yorkie. NOPE..she wanted to see the bunnies.
So, we make our way up to the top of the hill and the first thing we see.... a huge cage of bunnies. Hollie walks right up the little old man working and he tells her, "You like these bunnies sweet little girl. Well, you give me $5 dollars and you can have one!" I, of course, just looked to the side....mean mommy, I know! When out of the corner of my eye, I see my mom reaching into her purse to get.....$5 bucks!!! :scared1::scared1::scared1:
Hollie proceeds to hand it to the little man and I at this point walk away...to go buy a little cage. Aye caramba!!!!

Here is Hollie Saturday night in our camper introducing her new baby...his name is Mr. Fluffy, or Thumper, or Thumpity Thump Thump...just whatever she wants to call him or her at the moment:

I walked in on her in my parents camper telling him, "Mommy loves you so much. I am your mommy and I am gonna take care of you forever and love you." awww, it just melts my heart! My mother said the way Hollie treats the bunny just shows us that she is loved by all of us for the way we treat her. She carries him around in a blanket and has given him, ahem, a bath with a baby wipe then followed up by baby powder. The poor thing! :rotfl2:

There was a little accident at the Trade Day, but not including the rabbit. As we were walking away from the pet area, I was wearing my croc flip flops and somehow my left big toe hit a tree branch on the ground. Well, it hit me right at my bit toes nail bed. Of cours, I knew it would start bleeding. We went up front to this little mans building that builds the best homemade furniture like rocking chairs, dressers, tables, chairs, beds, bed sets, etc. We waited in a rocking chair while my dad and Chad finished looking around. (Which, by the way I saw my dream pet for sale there...a beautiful red and blue macaw!!! Awww, my Jimmy Buffett parrot!!)

We made it back to the truck and were on the way back to the lake place and I looked at my toe. It looked like something was in it. OH MY GOSH!!!!! I went straight to the bathroom and doctored it with some cleaning wipes and that was when I saw it. I got the tweezers and pulled out a 1/4 of an inch of the tree branch out at the nail bed. I started screaming...no not from pain. But, from the near fact that I had a foreign object stabbed into my skin!!!!! AUUUUGGGGGHHHHHH! Now listen, there is something you all need to know. I am a wimp with a capital W capital I capital M and capital P. I don't like to be cut anywhere and I dont like things impailing my body!! That was why I freaked. But, don't fret...my toe is alright. Just a little sore, but alright. Hmm, my adventures at the lake!! :rotfl2:

But, on another note, I do have some cute pictures of the weekend with some videos of Hollie and Chad riding on the tube and Hollie riding on her slip and slide. Which, she shakes her booty as she says goodbye! I dont' know where the kid gets it! ;)

I was passing my camera to Chad and he dropped it!!! :scared1:

Now, my lens won't come out and it shuts off. So, I have to manually pull the lens out then turn it back on. I am shipping it off to get fixed. My parents felt bad for me (because of course, I cried!! I hate when things break!) and they told me they would buy me a new one. Well, I told them no because the next camera I buy, I want a Nikon maybe the D40 (anyone know about it?) I just want one that will take really, really good pictures but isn't too expensive. They have a package at Walmart where you get the camera and another lens with it for only $598 dollars. I guess thats good, who knows!!

So, anyways I will post the rest tonight!

Your Lake reminds me of the Potomac River back home , obviously there two different bodies of water but the set up is the same alot of people just have campers on there lots but then there a huge homes too ! Well, my mom bought me a camera. I had told her not too but she said it was for my birthday. My parents are awesome!! Its another kodak. She said it will do until I can get my Canon or Nikon! :rotfl2:

OMG, that comment cracked me up!!!!! It is absolutely true!! I have a funny story....last year Chad got on it with Hollie. I was on it with her first and didn't get wet at all. So, Chad thought he could ride it and not get wet. He had on shorts, his shirt, and hat. So, he took his shoes off and got on it. Well, as he was waving to my mom..he didn't pull up the front as my dad was circling in front of her. Water came into the tube and they both fell out. I jumped in freaking out wanting to get Hollie. I looked like the mom on Meet the Fockers when her daughter got hit in the nose while playing volleyball. I grab Hollie and get her in the boat. Chad looks at me as he is getting in the boat. He had his wallet in his shorts and his cell on his side!!! :headache::eek: I just looked at him and shook my head!

That bathing suit on Hollie reminded me of something a friend of mine does. They have a cottage by a lake also. Well, every year, since her girls were 3 and 5, she has their picture taken in the same dress. They are now 10 and 13! The dresses still fit them across the chest, and look like shirts, but she had their picture taken again this year, at the lake. My point is, maybe you could start that tradition with Hollie. Obviously it will get too small, but how funny.

Hey everybody!!!!! Sorry I haven't been around that much!
This Disney trip will be here before we know it!!

We are heading back to the lake this weekend! Then the next weekend I am having a yard sale, the weekend after that...you guessed it...back to the lake! Then the weekend of the 10th, we are headed to PCB again..this time with Chad's mom, stepdad, cousin, and pop! Hopefully all these little trips will make the waiting for Disney get here fast!

We are going to Cherokee, NC 2 weekends before Disney.
Its me, Chad, Hollie, my mom and dad, my sister, her hubby and their daughter. We are going to ride the Polar Express and Hollie is so excited!!! She already has her christmas pj's to wear. Now, I have to find some for me and Chad! Then we are going to Santa's Land. If any of you have never been there, its a cute little park that is Christmas themed. If your a Christmas lover like me, aka Clark Griswold, then you would love it!!

A security guy came by and told me if he saw it out one more time, they would escort me out but I could take them on my phone. We really like SAI. The atmosphere is so pretty!!! They had changed the menu last year and it was hard to find something to eat. But, they changed it back! You can't go wrong with chicken nachos!!!! :lmao:

12/2 Teppan Edo in Japan @ 6:40pm
12/3 Tony's Town Square in MK @ 2:30pm

and that's it! For me! But I must tell ya Teppan Edo was amazing can't wait to get to that day on the TR once it gets started it was really neat! I have lots of pics of it! The food was the best TS we had! :thumbsup2

We are back from the rainy lake!! Yes....it rained Saturday most of the day. Rained good!! I looked like a drowned rat when me and my mom went to walmart to buy things to cook! Like, nasty drowned rat! I let her have the umbrella like a sweet daughter should and told her to get in the truck while I put the groceries in the truck standing in the pouring, pouring rain! :umbrella: :goodvibes

Well, I won't be on much this weekend because.....we are heading to the beach on Thursday!! Woo hoo!!!! I am so excited!

I know that most probably don't know whats going on in Paulding right now (my county) along with Douglas and several others. But, we are getting so much rain that it is actually flooding. The city of Dallas has roads that are collapsed, there are people who are having to be sent to our schools for shelter because of flooding. My mom and dad said they have never seen anything like this in our town. My heart is going out to all who are being affected by this! Its still raining at this moment.

I will try and get some pictures of this!!

This is just crazy!!! I am glad I am on the North side of Paulding. My mom called me this morning from work and she said it was just crazy this morning. They have had so many calls from roads caving in, people flooded in their homes, etc. She said that a road near downtown dallas collapsed and they had to get people out of their apartments with a boat!! I left work early today and I drove past the Bartow Airport and there was a huge cloud behind it! So scary!! I hope you made it home alright!!
lol! You know, me and my mom were just talking yesterday saying how everyone was praying for rain to end this drought....then yesterday we were talking about how everyone was praying for the rain to stop! I am thankful for it, but I definately don't want anyone losing their homes and more importantly their family! So sad....

This flood has been horrible! A friend from high school sent a message tonight. His wifes sister called and said that her father-in-law was swept away in a creek in Douglasville and he drowned. They also got a call that their cousin was swept away in the same creek and also died as well.
I am very thankful for this rain since we have been in a drought....but I pray that everyone is safe out there!

We actually have one in our backyard...but thank goodness we are only a good sized hill. We have a drainage ditch near our home and where our property starts. Well, about 5 years ago it rained and flooded the road. So, the county sent some people out to put a better drainage system there and I am so thankful they did!! It would have been awful!

Oh, it broke my heart too!! Its just so sad...
