Whoa!!!! Miss Sophie is one busy chick!!!!!!!!

I actually went tonight and bought 2 more dresses for Hollie to choose from. My Aunt used to own a bridal store and she closed it down 2 years ago. Well, all of her dresses are still in storage and she sold me 2 dresses for $35 bucks!!! They were both originally $90 bucks a piece!!! So, we are going to let Hollie choose which ones she wants to wear. We have those 2 and then my mom ordered a cute princess dress that should come in tomorrow. I asked Hollie if she wanted to wear her Belle christmas dress (just to wear red) and she informed me, "Mommy!!! That is not a Cinderella dress!!" :rotfl2:

Needless to say I brought the dress, but most of the time she wouldn't ask for things, just look at them longingly telling me how much she loved it, and of course I always ended up getting it for her.

We did!!!!!! It was a wonderful weekend!!!

Okay, so I was off Friday! My SIL called us as they were on the way up here. They got a late start so they actually got up here around 3:45. We were originally supposed to be at their hotel at 4, but we actually didn't get there till around 4:30.

They were staying at the Wyndham Buckhead and it was really nice!! SIL stays at the Wingate wherever she goes. Well, this one just happened to have a limo service for its guests to anywhere in Atlanta.

So......we took a limo ride to Dante's Down the Hatch. Let me just tell you!!! Hollie, Hattie, Lex, and Lauren thought we were sooooo cool!! I didn't get a picture on the outside just the inside.

Now after dinner, we called the limo to come and get Chad, Hollie, and Hattie to take them back to the hotel. Amy called a cab for us.

So, we get to the ACC and Amy went to pick up our tickets. We went inside to our seats and OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We were 2nd row!!!! now, there was a section in front of us that only had 3 rows of rickety looking seats. But, we were 2nd row!!! It was really cool!!!!! I started laughing at this point because of the story behind the tickets. Okay, I know most of you know that her boyfriend, the doctor, has a business partner. His partner is the brother of Courtney Cox. She has family that live in PCB. Well, she is friends with the dr boyfriend. They have known each other a long time. Her assistant or something like that is the one that hooked Amy up with the tickets. This lady gets them tickets to anything they want!!!! Well, the tickets that she got them for MB 20 were terrible seats! Something happened and they were in the nosebleed section so she felt really bad this time. I guess she pulled some strings and got us 2nd row.

I love this picture!! Hollie was walking up to each princess and I saw her say something to them! I took this picture as she was talking to Sleeping Beauty. I finally went up to Belle after Hollie said something to her and she went over to Tinkerbell. I asked her what she said and Belle told me, "She is so sweet! She said, "I have seen every one of your movies and I LOVE THEM!" Thats my girl!!!!

We had so much fun!! If anyone of you lived near here I would tell you to definately do this next year! I grew up with the girl who owns the business and she loves doing things like this!! It was her dream as a kid to own her own business where little girls can be a princess!!

I wish I had come up with that idea!!!! It was so cute!! All those little girls and boys dressed up! Yes, she commented on that. She said, "Mommy they don't look like they did in DisneyWorld!" So, I had to explain to her that since the "real" ones couldn't come up here since they live in DisneyWorld, they sent there friends up here in there place!! It worked!:lmao:

There is this girl I knew growing up. Her dream was to have a place where she sells princess stuff and also has parties. Well, about 4 years ago she started doing just that! Her store is so cute!! She sells luggage, purses, makeup, all kind of cute princess stuff! She has the Glass Slipper Ball every year! There were also boys there dressed up in tuxedos, Prince Charming costumes, etc. It was just the cutest thing! I wonder if Luke would like that?;)

I can only imagine how much chaos (in a fun way) this would have caused in our school!

We had a special visit Friday, only it was not nearly as exciting. The new director of schools and his entourage of 'suits' came through. Luckily, they came during my lunch time. I locked my door, lowered my lights, and went and ate lunch behind the tall bookcases in the back of the room so that I didn't have to see them or shake hands or answer questions. :) By the time my lunch period was over, they had already made their way to the far end of the hall, so I missed it all. :thumbsup2

So, my MIL emailed me today. She wants to book our trip in April. I told her we could go ahead and do it and then if any specials come up (like last year) we can always re-do our reservations!!

A little girl entered a contest at Build-A-Bear to have Corbin come to her school and she won!!!! My friend emailed me this morning and she said the kids were going crazy!!

So, my MIL emailed me today. She wants to book our trip in April. I told her we could go ahead and do it and then if any specials come up (like last year) we can always re-do our reservations!!

Okay, so I dont' have much of a trip update! Just your basic little things!

We have decided that we are going to be leaving early, EARLY, on that Tuesday morning. Like probably around 2ish. That way Hollie can sleep most of the way down there!

These are the parks we are going to be visiting:

Magic Kingdom (of course!)
Epcot
Universal (maybe)

You notice that Universal has a maybe. Its because we will be there with Hollie in October of this year with Chad's brother and sisters. So, if we decided to not go there, we will visit MGM (yes I still call it that!!!) :goodvibes

I took Jenny to the Wiggles when she was almost 2. She danced non stop...we ended up in the front row although our seats were in the 10 or so. If you ever go take roses. Dorothy comes around and gets them from each person who has them. Too cute! :flower3:

Aw, thanks for asking! Its the same, but they are finally doing his injection next week, so that should help with the pain for a while.

We are going in October with his sister, her boyfriend and there kids, his younger brother, and his younger sister and her hubby. After our visit with them last October (they all came up here!) she decided that every year she wanted to do something with all of us. So, we are going to be staying at Hard Rock Hotel Oct. 15th through the 19th. We are going to MNSSHP and HHN at Universal! I am really excited!!

Then we are going with Chad's mom and stepdad in November. Hollie will be going on both trips this time!!! lol!!!

The first couple he was fine, but the last one....the boy was knocked out and slept most of the day!! I hope everyone has a good week!

Awww, cool!!! We took our umbrella stroller in 07 when we took Hollie and she wouldn't sit in it! So, the next day we just left it in the room and rented one.

It went alright. He is in a LOT of pain right now. His injections he had before were more towards the middle of his back, this one was at the lower part and right now his legs are still numb.

He did alright. He did have an incident once we got home. He slept most of the day and then decided to get up and go to the bathroom by himself while I was in the living room with Hollie. Well, I heard him scream my name and I walk in our bedroom and he was laying in the floor at the bathroom door!! His legs are still so numb that he couldn't feel them and he just fell!

Girl, I was so mad!!!!!!

This is what happened....we were gonna take Hollie to the lady who used to watch her. So, I go outside and crank his truck up. I figured he would be more comfortable in it on the way home instead of my explorer. SO, I crank it up and shut the door. I thought I had pushed the unlock on all doors. WRONG!! I pushed lock! So, I go to my car in the garage and get my purse. I take it outside to his truck and can't get in. So, I come inside to ask him where his extra key is and he said he don't know. WTH! He also put the unlock door majiggy inside his truck. So, I call my dad while I pull my car out of the garage and he said he would call the fire dept. Thank goodness they met him here. So, he met them and turned the truck off for us and we were only a few minutes late for his appointment.

Now, this next picture was my birthday present in 1992. Her name was Buffy. She slept with me, went everywhere with me!!! She was my little furbaby!! We also got one for my sister in 1996 and his name was Beau, but he was black and white. I will post one of them together.
But, anyways about 5 months before me and Chad got married, I came home from work and she was in my lap. I put her down and she was whining. I turned around and she was dragging her back legs. Turns out she had a degenerative disc disease. For a while, they thought she was going to die. We ended up getting her back surgery. On a good day after that, she would wobble on her back right leg. Most days she would just drag her leg around whether she was walking or running!! Well, in 2006, Beau started having eye infections. They never could figure out what was wrong so we just gave him eye drops. One day he would not eat or anything. My dad took him to the doctor and his eye was leaking the fluid out!! His whole body was filled with an infection. They said we either needed to have his eye removed and the chance of him living would be slim or put him down. My parents actually considered it, but the day my dad took him up there he changed his mind!!! He told them to do surgery instead. Even having him for a month longer was better than nothing. Well....things took a turn about 3 months later when his other eye started doing the same thing. It was that time my parents decided to have both of them put down. Buffy had terrible arthritis in her back and legs and could hardly walk and Beau was just sick!! I still get upset thinking about it and it was almost 2 years ago!

It was actually the old queue for 20,000 leagues. Can you believe that!! I was so excited when we saw them because I LOVE the Queen!!! She was in perfect mode too!!

I know, I love my furbabies! People don't understand that they are like family! They were treated like babies and they acted like them too!! I had a dog that was deaf once he turned 12 and he was absolutely fine! He just couldn't hear that good. I can't even tell you how many dogs I have had in my entire life. I would say about 18! :eek:
My parents used to raise Bassett's! I love baby bassetts with there big ole ears dragging on the ground! I just love all dogs! We have had beagles, bassetts, mutts, golden retrievers, dachshunds, shi-tzus, and more mutts!! lol1

We do love our pets, and it hurts us when things hurt them. I got teary-eyed just reading about your little doggie pals. I will full-out cry when my cat is gone. He follows me everywhere I go around the house. He's sleeping right at my feet as I am typing this.

What and adorable dog!! Sorry :sad2: that is very sad.. One of my Shih Tzu's had her eye removed due to glaucoma. She had the surgery when she 11 and now she is 15. She is like a little demanding old lady now and drives us nuts :headache:. But her other eye is still doing well all this time luckily. We also have a 3 year old girl. They are great dogs.

Awwww, its so funny how they are like little kids to us!! I love my animals! I haven't had a cat though since my Rajah ran away! She was just gorgeous! She was a long haired cat and her hair was black with like reddish tints in the ends. She was so pretty!!!

Awwww, how pitiful!! You know something funn...I always thought that shih tzu's were supposed to be all frou frou and prissy. Not mine!! Every time we would give her a bath, she would go outside and roll around at the edge of the yard in the soot from our fireplace! Then she would just walk right up to you like, "yeah, give me a bath again dummy!" It was so funny!!!!! I want to get a shih tzu again! They really are great dogs!

Okay, here is a picture of the dog we have now! We got him in 2004 after our other dachshund drowned in my parents swimming pool. Her name was Gracie and she was a miniature. She would have asthma attacks and seizures and we think she had one and fell in the pool! We were devastated! So, that next week I had to have another baby! His name is Rusty and he puts up with Hollie putting baby powder on him as you will see!!

Last year I lost my solid white cat, Nana (nonna), we had her for 18 years! I miss her so much. I think something happened from her pet food. Remember when there was a scrae going around? A lot of the pet food was poisoning the animals. Well I always feed my cats Meow Mix. My mom and dad spoiled Nana though and would buy her the canned food too. The food they were feeding her was recalled. I'll always wonder. :sad1:

They called his granddad this morning from the hospital to see if they could put a ventilator in him and he told them they would have to call his son because he was over him. Well, his son told them no because his dad wouldn't want that. Then he passed away an hour and 15 minutes later

Hey girl, how are you? Sorry I have been MIA for so long, we went to London for Valentines and then down to Mum's and she had no internet connection which was so frustrating. But I am back now and trying to get caught up with everything. How is Chad's back? I hope its better now. And your old pictures are so funny, I love them. You seem to have been to Disney so much, and its so lovely you have so many great photo's to look back on your trips. And I cannot believe you were a blonde, did you have more fun?

So I am so so sad. We changed a reservation and some how the CM cancelled them all. I only noticed because I got a refund for CRT which we had booked at 180 days. So I called...they had to get a supervisor on the phone because I was so upset. They got most of our reservations back but no Ohana! The only opening the entire week was at 9 pm. Ugh! I was so looking forward to trying your famous drinks!

i think this is great! you know that means that you'll definitely get to see the osborne lights, right? this past year they moved the date back to after thanksgiving for starting those and a lot of people were disappointed. they are SO COOL so i'm super excited you'll get to see them! i'm sure you may know this but be aware that the first saturday in december is usually the ABC christmas parade taping, which means MK will be MADNESS that day!!! i've heard you can barely move around on main street. because i hate crowds, i would avoid it like the plague! just wanted to make you aware of that. ;)

i think this is great! you know that means that you'll definitely get to see the osborne lights, right? this past year they moved the date back to after thanksgiving for starting those and a lot of people were disappointed. they are SO COOL so i'm super excited you'll get to see them! i'm sure you may know this but be aware that the first saturday in december is usually the ABC christmas parade taping, which means MK will be MADNESS that day!!! i've heard you can barely move around on main street. because i hate crowds, i would avoid it like the plague! just wanted to make you aware of that. ;)

I love going in November! Its not a super crowded time and usually its nice and cool! Although last year, it was really hot when we went!!!
