I'm going to try and create a Dis meet for us in th NJ and PA area. I plan on holding it at the Cherry Hill Mall in NJ. I was hoping to get some date ideas from everyone. Would like as much input as possible so I can get this thing rolling. :thumbsup2

Once I get some dates I'll post a poll to see which date or dates are the most popular.

I figured we would meet in the new food court by JcPenny's. I'll bring Disney themed balloons to designate our area. We can have pin trading and other activites. I don't think we need any approval from the mall but I could be wrong. :confused3

Let me know if you would be interested in attending and what date you think would be the best.

We will be having it in Febuary on a Saturday yet to be decided.
We will have pin trading
Coloring for the kids

Please let us know of any other activites we can do.

DVCSince02 and I have also tossed around this idea. I don't know how far she is from Cherry Hill, she lives in Delaware and had said she wouldn't go more than ____ hours (can't remember).

I had mentioned a place in New Hope where my daughter had her husband's b/day party. any interest??

OMG I live about 3 miles from the CH Mall. I would love to come. If it is within the next few weeks my girl scout troop will be selling cookies there on the weekends.

It has one of the few Disney Stores. So it is a good mall to meet at.

OK so it sounds like Saturday is the best day. I was thinking sometime in Febuary would be best so that it gives enough time for the word to get out we are having a meet. What saturday in Febuary do you think would be the best date?

Now what time would we want this to start? Do we want a middle of the day meet like a noon start or do you think a more evening meet so people can get things done first and meet at around 4:00pm?

Saturday or Sunday is hard for me but not totally out of the question if it is later in the day I can leave work early. Let me know what day you decide on. Definately not the 14th. Oh I would have to bring my son also; is everyone bringing their kids?

Yes please bring your kids it is a disney meet after all.
I'm leaning towards a meet about 4 or 5 in the evening on a saturday.
Please pick your dates on the poll. The most popular wins.
If there is a tie i'll pick the later date.

I'll be starting a new thread sometime next week with a date for the meet and all the info.

wooowwww!!! i don't really know what a "meet is but i have heard it talked about ..a looootttt and of course i love Disney:woohoo: so i will be there. any date works for me. i live in marlton..out on the far side by marlton lakes...its only about 25min to the cherry hill mall...:banana:

A meet is a bunch of us crazy disney fans getting together to meet other disney fans and talk all things disney. I'm also going to have pin trading so if you have any pins you can bring them along and trade with other pin traders. It is a nice chance to meet other people like minded about disney. :thumbsup2

My experience with MapQuest is that they always overestimate the time. I'm in Hillsborough and the last time I went to Cherry Hill it took about an hour not the two hours 10 minutes MapQuest said it would take!

This sounds fun! I hope people decide to bring the kiddos wiith them (will have DS1 and DD4 in tow). That is awesome that there is a Disney store still there as well. We have one still at the King of Prussia mall near us but haven't seen any others around anymore. Can't wait to meet everyone (actually we met Cinderellasister and family on OKW bus in December so will be nice to see them again as well)...see you all iin February!

We were shopping in The Disney Store at the Deptford Mall yesterday afternoon, they had a 75% sale going on. DW and I each got two long sleeve t-shirts for $5.99 each, we also pre-ordered HSM3 while we were checking out. Our DD worked at this store for the holidays, but was let go after Christmas because of the sagging economy.
