According to the flyer, it states each person on the DDP gets one snack a day. But when I added the DDP to my ressie this morning, the CM said I get two snacks a day per person. I told her the website/flyer states one snack and she said that the website was wrong???? I confirmed that she was not talking about the QSDP or the DDP...anyone else hear this?

Are you sure you didn't add the deluxe dining plan? It includes 2 snacks daily DxDP.

no, I didn't and when she priced it out, it was correct (DDP). I'm guessing she was confusing the DDp with the Deluxe DDP...too bad, though, I was excited for a minute there!

Regular ddp is one snack credit per night (not per day) of your stay. Quick service and deluxe plans are 2 snacks per night.

okay, what difference does night/day mean, just so I understand this whole thing. We'll be staying seven nights, checking out on Sunday afternoon. So because I'm not sleeping there on Sunday night and if I have on TS left to do breakfast that morning, I won't be able to use it that day? Could someone clarify this for me please :)

You will have a total of 7 TS credits available for use throughout your entire trip. If you have a credit left on Sunday you will be able to use it until Sunday night at Midnight.

Your dining plan credit are good until midnight of the day you checkout. The number of nights you stay are used to determine the total number of credits you get. For seven nights on the DDP, you would get 7 TS, 7 QS and 7 snacks for each person in your party to use whenever you want.:)

To help clarify, this is a cut and paste right from the Disney Website:

Best of all, you can relax knowing many of your meals are paid for in advance.

For each night of your package, each Guest in your party enjoys:

1 child table-service meal includes 1 appetizer, 1 entrée, 1 dessert (lunch or dinner only) and 1 single serving non-alcoholic beverage, or 1 full buffet. Children ages 3-9 must order from a Children's Menu where available.

1 Quick-service Meal
1 quick-service meal includes 1 entrée or 1 complete Combo Meal, 1 dessert (lunch or dinner only) or 1 juice (breakfast only) and 1 single serving non-alcoholic beverage. Children ages 3-9 are limited to the Children's Menu (if one is available) at quick-service restaurants.

1 Snack1 snack includes one of the following: frozen ice cream novelty, popsicle, fruit bar, popcorn scoop (single serving box), single serving grab bag of chips, single piece of whole fruit, 20-oz. bottle of Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite or Dasani water, medium fountain soft drink or juice, 12-oz. coffee, hot chocolate or hot tea.

The problem is the plans should be consistent. They have 2 plans with 2 snacks included and one plan with 1 snack. Talk about confusing!

How is that confusing? All the plans have 2 snacks except the basic plan has 1

You are staying 7 nights and 8 days. You will receive dining plan credits based on the number of nights you are staying - therefore at checkin on the basic plan each person receives 7 TS credits, 7 CS credits and 7 snack credits to use in any manner they wish for the length of the stay. Although you're staying 8 days, you don't receive 8 credits. A lot of posters say that they receive 1 TS meal a day, which isn't technically the case. You could use your 7 credits in a manner that gives you 1 TS meal a day if you want.

Dining credits expire at midnight of the day you check out and must be used before then.

Am I reading correctly that CS breakfasts include two drinks but no dessert so the extra drink is a trade-off of the dessert?

I think I'm confused about breakfast items in general because many count as a snack, such as a cinnamon roll or other pastry. If I were to choose a cinnamon roll then I don't get a drink and that is a snack credit? If I wanted a breakfast platter (at Pop for instance) then I get the platter, juice, another drink but no cinnamon roll for a CS credit. Right? We will purchase the refillable mugs so I could end up with three drinks?? Yikes.
