Have any Americans had any luck with buying Eurodisney shares through a US based brokerage firm (preferably online)? Please keep in mind I had an ugly divorce from E-trade (or Fee-trade as I like to call them) so it would need to be someone else. With the share price being what it is I really want to do this soon even if I don't go to DLP for a while.

I recall others in your case who have looked at buying Euro Disney SCA shares. Bear in mind that these are only traded on the Paris Stock Exchange and there are seperate rules to non Europeans holding shares within European companies.
Since you are not planning a takeover ;) I don't imagine that being an issue.

I will try to find the previous thread and hope that somone else chimes in :thumbsup2

Out of interest, how much are the shares at the moment? I have 5 but wondered if it was worthwhile me buying another 15.

I'm also looking to join the Shareholders Club to make use of discounts during my visit in October, just after our Viva Italia ABD tour. I had 10 shares, and figured it was more economical for me to purchase another 10 shares, then to pay the processing fee to join. I had my brokerage account manager (with Wachovia, now part of Wells Fargo) purchase the shares back in December. Just waiting for my updated statement to arrive so I can send in the documentation with the enrollment application.
