You have heard us mention Shirley Nelson Brown and her husband Norm many times on our podcasts.

Shirley and Norm own and operate The Perfect Gift in Cape Canaveral and they have been long time friends of Pete and John and all of the folks at the Dis and Dreams Unlimited Travel.

http://theperfectgift.cc/index.html

If any of you visit the Cruise board, I'm sure you have seen Shirley's posts offering no strings assistance to visitors to Florida's Space Coast. She is a an awesome resource for those visiting the area.

I'm telling you this because I keep getting questions about folks celebrating events on a cruise....whether it's the Podcast cruise or any other sail date.

If anyone is looking for a way to make a cruise special for anyone of any age, Shirley and The Perfect gift are the answers to your questions. They deliver awesome baskets to all of the cruise lines at Port Canaveral.

Y'all know we dont recommend anyone that we we cant stand behind 100% The same is true here. Shirley, Norm and The Perfect Gift are a great way to make sure that your special event is acknowledged.

The Dis and Dreams Unlimited Travel have no financial relationship with the The Perfect Gift. We just think they offer a terrific service.

I grabbed the bull by the horns and emailed DH with the info copied directly from the post. With a reminder that my co-worker is also a DIS'er and more than happy to help him surprise me should he feel the need!

:rolleyes1

I've read about husbands that get their spouses a gift to thank them for the looooooong hours spent planning the perfect trip. Or that send a surprise to be waiting for them when they check in. Note that I said "read" bcs I've never experienced this firsthand. Although once we checked into the poly and there was a cake and balloons- I thought DH had surprised us. Turns out it was meant for another room.

But this time I might just send myself a basket and be done with it!

Thanks, Kevin,
I was just looking at her site yesterday.

We ordered a gift "pail" for my DD from Shirley for our last cruise, and it was awesome! Millie thought Mickey and Minnie left it for her. It was really cute, and included treats, juices, stickers, sand toys and other stuff in a big pink sand bucket. It really was "the perfect gift".

Now, if I could just get my DH to read the disboards and "find" this thread...;)
