REPOST: Cat 12 Guaranteed - Am I doomed?

Hi,

We are booked on the 8/24 Eastern Magic Cruise (7 night). It will be me, DH and DD (6). We are booked on cat 12 guaranteed. Should I be worried? Are these rooms in the absolute WORST locations??

When do I find out my exact cabin number?

Don't worry...we stayed in these rooms and they are great! They have the least rocking of all the boat and they are close to elevators so you can get to wherever you want to be in a flash!

Usually, you'll find out when the Document packages are printed and mailed out, which is after the 60 day 'pay in full date'. At the 60 day mark, some people will have to cancel or reschedule and cabins will open up for assignment.

If you booked directly thru DCL, you can check your reservation online and see if the cabin has been assigned yet. There's a place off of the Online Quote page that says 'Check your Reservation' where you enter your DCL Reservation number and your phone number and it displays some of the info.

I wouldn't be overly concerned with getting a particular cabin assignment, most cabins work out just fine.
