For information, according to the reservations person I spoke to today, the 50% discount offer only applies to the following Disney hotels:

Davey Crockett
Disneyland Hotel
Sequelae Lodge
Cheyenne
Sante Fe
Hotel New York (excluding the rooms that accomodate 6 people)

I think that needs to be taken with a little pinch of salt though - as I've read a post on another forum that the Santa Fe for beginning of February also had the 50% AP discount ;) .

It also applies to the New York at least for certain dates as I got 50% for our visit at the end of January. I had originally booked offsite as when I called at the end of November no offers were available but tried again on Sunday and was offered 50% at Hotel New York. I have booked this and cancelled our offsite hotel. Was told offer runs from now until 6th February and then every day in March.

I just phoned up and got these quotes for 2 adults if this helps anyone

at the Cheyenne for 2 nights and (3 nights)

02 - 04 £135.60 (£203.40)
11 - 13 £135.60 (£203.40)
17 - 19 £186.10 (£279.15)
26 - 28 £186.10

and for the Sequoia Lodge

09 - 11 £179.88 (269.82) montana room
17 - 19 £264.38 (396.57) montana room

for other block rooms knock £15 off the price in general.

Doesn't seem bad to me although the Expedia prices compete with some of them. Got me thinking though, im sure im catching the virus Cap'njack had  !

Shall i give you the extra £2 pound then? lol

The SL is very tempting but just due to costs i'd probably go for the Cheyenne.

And be even cheaper and go from Ebsfleet instead of St Pancreas to get £29.50 returns instead of £60 minimum !

Hmm, DH's birthday is around end of March - a DLH long weekend birthday present? Can't decide if that would be the best birthday present ever or a terrible waste of money we shouldn't spend!

Dam* this bug!!!
2 nights at end of March, 2 adults 2 children
£463.64 in DLH
offer not valid in NYH
£265.08 NPB Admiral

The CM didn't know about the offer and was amazed at the prices. She wanted me to book it there and then so I didn't lose them but I have to think about it for at least a night.

Wow, they are good prices. The CM did the same with me but the rooms were still there when I called back the next day.

I have promised the Wifey that the next time (if there is one) there is a 50% offer I am taking her to the Disneyland Hotel for a few nights

If we could go midweek it would certainly be even cheaper!
MIL has convinced me to go for it so I can blame her if DH wants a divorce. They will pay for the California Grill for his present and give the children spending money for their birthdays so it looks like the gods are smiling on this idea! :goodvibes

Just out of curiosity, what/where is Ebsfleet?
