I have no idea what I want. We are going on our first cruise on May 9, the Disney Wonder. I would like a magnet with our names and the date and kind of girly if possible but to be honest I'm not even sure how to print it! sorry, this is all new to me :) I guess use your own judgement on what you think would look really neat. DH just surprised me with more magnetic tape:cool1:- a few more magnets won't hurt-;) there must be some part of the door that has a blank space- dh says to me hope they didn't go to wooden doors during dry dock:lmao::rotfl:

Oh - and those extra hugs were from Jake- he was reading over my shoulder and asked if he could type something- so he added his name and the hugs-

Can you please help me with a birthday design. I read on another thread that you can take a design to a bakery and they can transfer the image to an edible cake design. Since going on our cruise, my DD wants a DCL birthday cake! Could you design a couple different ones to choose from? I'd appreciate anything you can come up with. Was wondering if you might make a pirate tinkerbelle one with Jeanne on it.

I saw your Snow White designs and was hoping we might be able to get a personalized one. I am frequently referred to as Snow White since we have seven little ones. It's the Simons Family, Eric and Jeanne and seven kiddos are Holly, Kayti, Kelsey, Emily, Chloe, Bella and Nick.

If you have anything with Chip and Dale that could be personalized for my Twins, Bella and Nick. And finally, it is Emily's 13th Birthday if you might have something for that.

Looked back through your recent stuff and its just wonderful!

Have a great cruise. We will be on the same cruise. We are besides our self with excitement. Last Disney cruise was 5 years ago. Picked this particular one because our 50th anniversary is the first day of the cruise..

Hi, Mel, it's been a while since I've been on your thread. I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. My mom was in hospice about 2 years ago. We didn't get along very well while I was growing up but I was very emotional while she was sick. I understand your "soapbox" completely! :hug: I will keep you in my prayers.

If you're not too busy with life could I please get a calendar for Kayla but I'd like the numbers to be reversed, like Jake's. And one of these pretty Tinks for Kayla and one for Beth.

Mel,

Hope things are going better for you. So far things are good here. Two weeks Saturday and we are on our way. I have to hold myself from packing. Just a little early yet. Next week, I will start packing as I have a lot to pack. We are actually going to be gone almost a month (nice part about retirement), so I need to pack a lot more than usual.

We are still thinking and praying for your Dad. We moved in to take care of my almost 93 year old Dad who has dementia. We are taking him to an assisted living facility that is absolutely beautiful, but can't tell him because he refuses to go. He threatened to run away from home so, we just can't mention it. He will be fine and our children will stop by several time a week and so will my brother. He still works full time so he can't take Dad while we are gone. We just wanted to get a really nice place for Dad while we are gone, and we did. We can go and know he is in a good place. Can't wait !!

Hi Hon
He is 73 yrs young--turns 74 this May
with all he has wrong he is now fighting a serious blood infection--they have put him on three different antibiotics,,and has developed (sp) Dysphagia--having trouble swallowing....the doctors say we just need to take each day as it comes. I have 3 brothers and a sister so lots of family support.
Guess this tells me to appreciate every moment we share with family and friends. Well enough natter natter,,,Hugs Hon

He is 73 yrs young--turns 74 this May
with all he has wrong he is now fighting a serious blood infection--they have put him on three different antibiotics,,and has developed (sp) Dysphagia--having trouble swallowing....the doctors say we just need to take each day as it comes. I have 3 brothers and a sister so lots of family support.

Thanks for being so kind Mel. I really hated feeling like I was thread-stealing, but loved hearing someone was going to do it. After I posted I realized I could have just sent a PM asking, but didn't think of that first.

I wanted to do the sea lion one at St Thomas - but DH wasn't sold. So we are tentatively scheduled on a boat called the Island girl. It is a small group (max of 6 people) for a full day of sailing, power snorkling (I figured this would appeal to DH), lunch, etc. The reviews I read said they know where you can see sea turtles, etc. I thought Maddie and Mickie would love that. But I keep thinking they would love the sea lions more. . .and what memories that would make.

I think it will be something he wont be affraid of. At least I think so. I asked him about sea tutrles and he said no. He will not weight enough for the sea trek. I would like to do that one. But maybe another trip. the sea lion swim sounds fun and I am not affraid to do that. It will be my first time to experience something like that. I called coral world directly to reserve the spot and they took my info and followed up with an e-mail. They were really sweet. Let me know if you have any other questions. Glad u enjoyed the link. LOL - that's me. Evil Deb. :)

My DDs aren't the bravest kids in the world. Not by a long shot. We took our first WDW vacation in November 2008 - took the kids to the backyard BBQ. Minnie Mouse charged at them with her arms out (I think it was their blinking hots/Minnie Mouse western wear). My DD Mickie took off running the other way screaming she wanted to go back to Texas NOW!. Thankfully she warmed up after a few days. LOL. So, I'm not 100% sure how they would do with sea lions. My DD Maddie was mauled by a dog - badly - a few years ago. So, that is our hesitation - would it scare them, or would it create memories. When they see the pics they want to do it -however, they wanted to meet Minnie Mouse, until she was right there in front of them.

Oh wow sorry to hear that about your daughter being hurt by a dog. When I was a little girl that same thing happened to me. I have never forgotten it. Anyway if it is ok to ask where in Texas are you? I just noticed that is where you are from? I'm in katy texas right outside of houston. So another ? how old will they be at the time of the cruise? I had a busy day today..Had to work 12 hours today. I'm tired. But have to stay up to get laundry done for tomorrow.
Anyway yes I am surprising my son who is now nine with a disney cruise for his 10th birthday. I am planning on not telling him till the day we leave for the cruise. I am a single mom and have been working super hard to keep everything a secret and still make my plans. I have to work on things when he is not home or at his dads house for the weekend. I when time gets closer I will have to pack when he is gone and print out the magnets and shirts. I am hoping this will be a trip and birthday that he wont forget. My only problem that I have not dealt with yet is passports. Since I am divorced i have to get his dad to sign a paper for me to take him. But he will want to knpw why do i need to get him a passport and I dont want to tell him bc he cant keep a secret.:eek: So I will worry about that when the time comes. I had a busy day today..Had to work 12 hours today. I'm tired. But have to stay up to get laundry done for tomorrow.
Anyway yes I am surprising my son who is now nine with a disney cruise for his 10th birthday. I am planning on not telling him till the day we leave for the cruise. I am a single mom and have been working super hard to keep everything a secret and still make my plans. I have to work on things when he is not home or at his dads house for the weekend. I when time gets closer I will have to pack when he is gone and print out the magnets and shirts. I am hoping this will be a trip and birthday that he wont forget. My only problem that I have not dealt with yet is passports. Since I am divorced i have to get his dad to sign a paper for me to take him. But he will want to knpw why do i need to get him a passport and I dont want to tell him bc he cant keep a secret.:eek: So I will worry about that when the time comes. Anyway just wanted to check back in b4 you thought I ran away.

You don't happen to work downtown (Houston) do you? If so - if you find you need someone to look at your pics when you get back. . .I'm willing to volunteer! :)

I'm afraid I'm like your ex. I can't keep a secret. I get too excited and something slips. I have two older children from my first marriage - and they knew just how to work me. I always cracked before Christmas time. Thankfully they are both adults and out on their own now. . .and the M&Ms haven't learned to do this yet. So Christmas actually falls on 12/25 at our house now.

I'm impressed that you are able to do all that without him knowing. He will be amazed. What a birthday.

I just printed them out and the turqouise one I have with Tracey on it and Tink...it's hard to see the goth/naughty tink on the black background...can I just get the regular Tink like you had used for Becca's? I would change it myself if I could, as not to bother you!

I'm not sure if you are still on break but I'm on the cruise with loveysbydesign and she showed off her AWESOME shirts with your design on the front and directed me here so maybe I could get some awesome designs!
Maybe you can sneak us in? We cruise in a couple of weeks (but leaving on the 22nd). If not, I totally understand! But if you think you are able to before then..... here's what we'd love to have please!

1- life preserver like post #1402, pg 94
Everything the same except no date on it (we'd like to use the design in the future too) and the family name is Sorensen. So either The Sorensen's or Sorensen Family? Whatever you can fit there. It can go across further though if necessary since we don't need 2009 there over on the right?

2- the mickey design like pg 88, post #1360 (same colors/etc.) but with Sorensen Family in the left ear, again no dates and the character in the middle (if you can) one with Mickey (not dressed anything special- just regular mickey), one with Grumpy, one with Goofy, one with Tinkerbell (not goth please), and one with Cinderella? That's just her favorite princess though-if you don't have that one any princess will be fine.

3- the sassy pirate! tink design I've seen you make on several pages/posts- with the name Shelley?

I realize that's a lot to ask but I did put them in order of importance so if you think you can do ANY of them but not all... maybe just the first one? Again I understand if you're on a break and can't make these. If you are able to make them we'd soooooooo appreciate it!!!! Thanks for everything you do for everyone. You're really sharing the magic! :)

I LOVE the graduation designs. OK, this may be too much (and if it is, please just say so!). I it possible, on the Mickey design where it says "The Graduate" to print one name on each (total of 6?) The names are Koren (this is not a mis-spelling, it it an "O"), Ian, Dawn, Liz, Taylor, and Joe.

OK, I'm being a pain...can you remove Iago from the Chip and Dale one???

I'm not sure if you are still on break but I'm on the cruise with loveysbydesign and she showed off her AWESOME shirts with your design on the front and directed me here so maybe I could get some awesome designs!
Maybe you can sneak us in? We cruise in a couple of weeks (but leaving on the 22nd). If not, I totally understand! But if you think you are able to before then..... here's what we'd love to have please!

1- life preserver like post #1402, pg 94
Everything the same except no date on it (we'd like to use the design in the future too) and the family name is Sorensen. So either The Sorensen's or Sorensen Family? Whatever you can fit there. It can go across further though if necessary since we don't need 2009 there over on the right?

2- the mickey design like pg 88, post #1360 (same colors/etc.) but with Sorensen Family in the left ear, again no dates and the character in the middle (if you can) one with Mickey (not dressed anything special- just regular mickey), one with Grumpy, one with Goofy, one with Tinkerbell (not goth please), and one with Cinderella? That's just her favorite princess though-if you don't have that one any princess will be fine.

3- the sassy pirate! tink design I've seen you make on several pages/posts- with the name Shelley?

I realize that's a lot to ask but I did put them in order of importance so if you think you can do ANY of them but not all... maybe just the first one? Again I understand if you're on a break and can't make these. If you are able to make them we'd soooooooo appreciate it!!!! Thanks for everything you do for everyone. You're really sharing the magic! :)

~~~ I need something for the top of the FE that says "The Hartley Family" and has the ship and/or logo on it ( It will be ironed onto turqouise fabric our pockets are lime green and they're outlined in black). Someone else had made one for me but it just doesn't look right with fabric.
Do you think you could make us a porthole...or do you have something else to suggest??

Thank you for all of these. They were a big hit with the boys. Christopher would like to know if you can come up with something with Bolt. I have all these saved, and come November he may have a different interest. I'm glad I have 2 doors to decorate. I have enough saved, that I don't have to reuse any of the ones I saved.:) Hope you had a great Mother's Day. We actually went to Epcot yesterday on the spur of the moment. We had another day left on the tickets and I said I would like to go see the flowers. I'll upload a photo of us. It was so spontaneous, I didn't even do any shirts. I had made the passports for the boys, but never got to use them until yesterday.

These are really great and PERFECT in every way- except that I said the wrong post #. :( I had the right page but somehow got the wrong post # on the mickey heads. argh I can't believe I did that! We can't use the lime green background. I think the one I meant was 1620 on pg 88 which I think is red background. Our shirts aren't lime green unfortunately. :(
And you even made one with

I definitely will use the pirate tink one and the life perserver for sure! They are great!
I don't know if you have time to fix my mistake on the others- but if you do.. maybe they could be changed a bit? like on colors and our names instead of sorensen family? I just realized it kinda looks funny saying the family on our individual designs!
the one with mickey: Shelley -not sure what color it should be, anything but lime green whatever you think looks good?

the one with the princess- can you make it the one like Maddie's with the round princess/blue background colors and the name Rita?

the one with Goofy- Robert- and whatever color besides lime you think looks good? Maybe red? if you think that looks good with it.

the one with Tink- that one is okay lime, if fits nicely I think- but the name Ruby

the one with the fab 5- could you add Pluto or have a photo with all the fab 5 since we're a family of 5? still Sorensen Family- but some other color besides lime- whatever you think works best? maybe white if you think that looks good? I really like how you came up with the idea to do one for the whole family! What a great idea! NOw I can make even more shirts! LOL

If this is too much work to change them or you don't have time to do them- I totally understand. I'd still use the other designs and it was my fault for not saying the right post, not realizing how it would look with our family name instead of first names, etc. So really I understand if you don't have time to do these..... but if you do, it will be soooooo appreciated! Thank you for everything!!!!! The things you make are awesome!

These are really great and PERFECT in every way- except that I said the wrong post #. :( I had the right page but somehow got the wrong post # on the mickey heads. argh I can't believe I did that! We can't use the lime green background. I think the one I meant was 1620 on pg 88 which I think is red background. Our shirts aren't lime green unfortunately. :(
And you even made one with

I definitely will use the pirate tink one and the life perserver for sure! They are great!
I don't know if you have time to fix my mistake on the others- but if you do.. maybe they could be changed a bit? like on colors and our names instead of sorensen family? I just realized it kinda looks funny saying the family on our individual designs!
the one with mickey: Shelley -not sure what color it should be, anything but lime green whatever you think looks good?

the one with the princess- can you make it the one like Maddie's with the round princess/blue background colors and the name Rita?

the one with Goofy- Robert- and whatever color besides lime you think looks good? Maybe red? if you think that looks good with it.

the one with Tink- that one is okay lime, if fits nicely I think- but the name Ruby

the one with the fab 5- could you add Pluto or have a photo with all the fab 5 since we're a family of 5? still Sorensen Family- but some other color besides lime- whatever you think works best? maybe white if you think that looks good? I really like how you came up with the idea to do one for the whole family! What a great idea! NOw I can make even more shirts! LOL

If this is too much work to change them or you don't have time to do them- I totally understand. I'd still use the other designs and it was my fault for not saying the right post, not realizing how it would look with our family name instead of first names, etc. So really I understand if you don't have time to do these..... but if you do, it will be soooooo appreciated! Thank you for everything!!!!! The things you make are awesome!

I'm an educational resource staff--I work in primary grades with kids who have special needs.
Apparently I posted something about being the one the kids come to when they have a loose tooth. One year I think I helped 10 kids with a loose teeth.
One Parent even sent in a letter asking if I would please pull out their kids loose tooth.
I think the tag fairy must have read a few posts about this,,and wondered if maybe I was a close relative "Tooth Fairy".

I have all these saved, and come November he may have a different interest. I'm glad I have 2 doors to decorate. I have enough saved, that I don't have to reuse any of the ones I saved.:) Hope you had a great Mother's Day. We actually went to Epcot yesterday on the spur of the moment. We had another day left on the tickets and I said I would like to go see the flowers. I'll upload a photo of us. It was so spontaneous, I didn't even do any shirts.
