It's making it way around here too, in MA! ICK! My GD and her mom had it Thur, my DD called e at work throwing up and (other end) in the middle of the night, my son who is with my GD started this am too. Now my DH just started... I am last on this hit list :scared1: :scared1: and i have to go to work 1 hr away, not sure when it will hit :scared1: pray it passes me by!!

I came home from 3rd shift to caring for and cleaning up after DD and disinfecting the house LOL! She is done with that part now and is just very weak. What a mess LOL, she had more laundry and with me being a germ freak, I hit the cleaning like the plague was here LOL! Hopefully it pays off for me!

I dont know what the heck this bug is, but it is strong and the pains in the stomache are like crazy! I feel bad for anyone who had this at all, let alone while on vacation!!

I am afraid to eat a thing!! Gosh darn!!

I have to laugh I was just at the grocery store and herd a man talking to a lady he obviously knew telling her how that bug wiped out his entire family one by one last week on their vacation. I herd him say that either him or his wife were in the room with a different kid every day out of 10 days. That bug is scary. I only had a little taste thankfully.

2 years ago sis had it when we were in WDW. she got sick the last night/day we were staying at the Grand Floridian. Here is an image....the greater at GF all cheery and sis running from the lobby to be sick in the nearest flower pot. There were so many girls changing into dresses in the bathroom the great outdoors were her only option. made for an interesting flight home. :lmao: hope everyone recovers quickly!

I read somewhere here how a lady had it at one of the resorts & had to be taken to the hospital-then near the end of their trip her husband started with symptoms- her details were more than I would have shared but you got the idea. Guests saw her leaving the resort by ambulance & she said she must have looked terrible by their facial expressions-poor thing. It just stinks to be on vacation & be sick. Hope everyone stays healthy!

We had it here over christmas. I was the only one that was spared. The worst case was my mom who is diabetic and couldn't keep anything down for a couple days and we were really worried about her blood sugar.

I can't imagine going through all that on vacation- stuck in a hotel room (w/ 1 bathroom).

I have it....right now. It is the most horrible sickness i've had in awhile. I'm sore all over, even the bones in my fingers and toes ache. I don't wish this sickness on anyone. OK, I have to go pray to the porcelain god and then probably die.

oh no, i hope you don't get it! We don't have it around here, but had it about 6 months ago. First my little one got it and he was only 8 months old, that was miserable. then I got it, then DH. I almost went to the ER, I was so bad. I slept on the bathroom floor to be close. I thought I was dying.

luckily I now have a backup supply of zofran in case it ever hits again.

Thanks for the well wishes. I think it's subsiding. I haven't vomited since 11 and will now try and eat something. Ursula, it's time to bath in purell and break out the SARS masks, this is a bug you do not want.

It over the pond too!

Lots of people have got it, and hospitals are inundated especially as we've had a cold snap too!

I have started to get a sore throat and a bit of a fever, I hope it won't last!

That bug is horrible! We came back from Disney December 20th and my mom got it Bad a few days later, then my dad on Christmas eve and my husband a few days later. When we were in Disney there were people barfing on the bus and one kid in line for big thunder mountain. I got hit slightly and so did daughter while on vacation but nothing like my DH or poor parents. Luckily they didn't get it on the trip! I feel bad for everyone getting this. I went into HASMAT mode as well cleaning everything that was touched by human hands with clorox water. It seemed to help too. No one else got it in household...knocking on wood! At least it doesn't last that long...but you can't tell that to the poor people praying to the porceline gods right now! Get better everyone.

my DD10 (9 at the time) had it this past February. Nothing like sitting down to a nice dinner at the Yachtsman steakhouse, and right after we all finish, she "loses it" all over the table.

Something I learned - NONE of the Yachtsman wait staff/personnel were allowed to touch our table from that point on. They call out a special cleaning krewe, and they come out, and pick up all of the dishes, and table cloth, and wipe the table down with cleaning solution. Then, they come out with clean linens, and you continue with the meal!

P.S. Nice to see another Tulane person on the boards - disneygrlkat!

Yesterday my stomach started hurting and by the end of the night I was throwing up.

My Lysol sling couldn't keep it away.
