Newish to this board....and have a confession

Hi all! I have been around on the boards for a while but do not post much over here, but do lurk and post every now and then.

Now my confession....I sleep with the Podcast Crew. Everynight. I sleep with my headphones on listening to the shows. Everyone has such relaxing voices that most nights I will drift off to sleep but I will start over the next night where I fell asleep. There have been a few occasions that I have had dreams because I guess I hear the crew talking. Sometimes it will take me a week to get through a show, but I love them!!!

Hopefully you all don't think that I am totally insane. :guilty:

be careful that they don't talk about Fantasmic! those dreams might turn to nightmares then you will need a big sword and a boat filled with people in funny costumes... which mostly describes the podcast cruise.

You're not alone...I turn on a show sometimes before I go to sleep on my laptop and just leave it on the floor playing all night. It's funny to wake up and see what show is playing.

Welcome to the club...I sleep with them as well.:rolleyes1 Just like you...it takes me a couple of days to get through a podcast...I always fall asleep as well.

I made an MP3 recording of Theresa saying various things, then I put in a few "chocolate"s by Kevin, and a few Ghead's from Pete and some of Julie's magical giggles, altogether, it makes a great "white noise" loop that I sleep to every night.. Does that sound so crazy?;)

I sleep with them on too, non-disneycrazed husband doesn't understand. only hear about 15 mins, but they play all night until i wake up, so i still have new stuff to listen to for the next few nights. sure do miss them, hope everyone feeling better and can't wait for the next podcast to come out. :disrocks:

I relandscaped my whole yard to the archives when I first found the team. Every flowerbed has several shows associated with it. Even though I was new, you should have seen me when I came in covered in dirt and sobbing after I learned about Bob's passing. My husband thought I hurt myself with a rosebush or garden tool!

I have done both. I have fallen asleep to the podcast but I usually put it on while I get some housework done! My house is much cleaner now! :goodvibes

I also fall asleep to the tune of the podcast crews. Even Pete's rants are soothing. But the jangly jazzy music at the end wakes me up! It is always an adventure to "rewind" to the part I don't remember listening to.

I once dreamed that I won dinner at Boma and overnight at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Alas, they have never read any of the emails I send on the air, so I am no where close to the prizmatron!

Time to put on the earbuds and fall asleep with the Dis....

I can't really sleep with the podcast team, but I do listen to them while playing video games. I always end up doing something fatal when the team has a funny conversation, though.

Guilty!! It's way better then TV!!:happytv: Sometimes the music at the end will wake me up. Boyfriend thought he was hearing voices in his head. I guess I had it up to loud..:rotfl2:
