Hello all! We have a holiday at SL booked for March 29th- Apr 2nd, making use of the last week of the cheap deals before Easter. My other half has picked up a Winter/Summer brochure today and it lists lots of things (Mickey's Magical Party, a new parade in The Studios, The High School Musical parade etc..) as starting on Apr 3rd and 4th.

What do you think are our chances of seeing "practice runs" (soft openings???) of these things a couple of days early, before we leave? If so are these usually unannounced or included in the parade schedule leaflets?

Worst still are we going to end up being there at a time between the end of the 15th B'day celebrations and the start of the new season? Will we end up with no parades/ shows etc??:confused3 Serves us right for going out of season I suppose!

Hi,

The main parade isn't changing, so there will still be the Once Upon a Dream parade every day in the main park. In the Studios, the shows will still be going on too (Animagique, Cinemagique, Stitch Live etc).

I would imagine that by the day you leave, the vast majority of Mickeys Magical Party decorations will be up in parks.

I don't know about the soft openings for the new shows/parades/attractions before the official start of the new Party year, sorry.

Many thanks. Fingers crossed for one or two soft openings. We'll have a great time anyway I know, haven't been to DLRP for 3 years and its great how many things have changed. Funny how, because my girls are 3 years older, your priority attractions change too..... as I type my eldest (8 years old) is looking through a brochure getting herself more and more excited.
