Ressie Delima....What do I do???

I just booked CBR for Jan 11-14, 03. She said she couldn't guarantee the rate yet, which is fine. But the she quoted me $154.00 per night, which is reg. rate. Everything I've read says Jan is value, which is $133. Do I just send in my dep. and not say anything until rates can be confirmed. We're hoping to get a deal anyway. Or do I call back and see what's going on?

Never had this happen before...I was kind of thrown for a loop for a mintue. Thought I had my info wrong, so I checked when I got off the phone. It said value season for this year at that time. SO I assume those dates apply in general.

Any advice????

Disney has not yet announced rates and seasons for 2003. Seasons don't often change but CRO can't book a rate that isn't in their computers for the dates you need. The only way you can be booked for dates that don't have current pricing is at rack rate.

Send in the required deposit and don't worry about it. When rates are announced, discounts won't be far behind. Then you can adjust your reservation accordingly. You won't lose any money if you end up overpaying the deposit, honest! ;)

Could the $154 have included the tax?

I don't think I'd worry about it too much right now. Odds are that you'll find a nice discount before then.

No, it didn't include tax. I called back just to check and make sure I wasn't wrong in my thinking. She said she didn't know why the computer did that but not to worry the rate will adjust itself once the 2003 rates come out!

And I thought....Yeah and then I'll get my discount!!! :D Hopefully!!!!;)
