January birthdays in WDW?

Who is going to the World for a January birthday? When?

We're staying Jan. 22-31 at Pop Century, celebrating my 40th. What better place than where I can be a kid :)

We'll be there from Jan 23-Feb 1 at the Contemporary for my 37th on the 24!

We arrive this Saturday (January 10th) for my son's birthday trip. His birthday is Sunday, January 11th.

I guess I'm one of the few who are excited about the Celebrations theme. When we planned this vacation in August, the new promotion hadn't been released yet, so it was a happy surprise to learn that our very first trip to the World will be so "fitting", seeing that the whole reason behind the trip was to celebrate our DS's 13th.

I'm going on the 16h for my 35th birthday, my niece also has the same birthday, she's turning 8, her brother's birthday is on Jan 12th, so we're celebrating that too, he's just not getting in for free.

I also booked a trip for a friend who has twin girls. They are arriving on Jan 10, which is the girls' birthdays! Staying at POR until the 17th.

Their first trip!!! I'm so excited for all of them :banana:

Jan 9th we are arriving on my b-day. Dinner at the California Grill at 5:15 and then off to EMH at Epcot...

I miss my birthday since we had our vacation planned and paid for before the promotion was announced. My birthday is on the 9th too! I miss it by 6 days :(

We are leaving for Disney on Jan 28 to celebrate my twins 6th birthday on Feb. 2. WE are staying at the POP!

I celebrated my 40th birthday 2 years ago with my whole family at the BCV. It was wonderful. I will be in WDW this Jan from the 11th to the 16th so I will miss it by 1 day (17th) so I will celebrate all week anyway. Happy Birthday everyone!! It is a truly magical place to celebrate a birthday:cheer2:

I leave Oklahoma in the early morning hours of the 15th and will be celebrating my Magical 35th on the 22nd in the Magic Kindom and will also enjoy a character breakfast with Lilo and Stitch at O'hana. I can't wait,it has been 10 years since my last trip to the World! I am also planning on doing DHS on the 19th and Epcot on the 23rd. I also get a free admission to Universal studios and I will be visiting Seaworld as well. :yay:

DD'S 13th Birthday January 25th, leaving on the 31st thru the 7th due to work but still celebrating!!

We arrive on the 14th and stay through Monday - my birthday is on Thursday and we have a WISHES cruise for that night!

When I turned 30, DH, DS (then 17 months) and I went to MK for my birthday - we had a princess breakfast at the castle, and then I went to the Teacups, because I am vaguely nuts for them.

The park was empty - it had opened at 8 AM for EMH - and there were empty seats on the Teacups, so I thought, "it's now or never!"

I asked the CM running the ride if I could ride it 30 times, because it was my birthday.

She talked with her colleagues and they agreed that I could.

So I did!

EIther Tweedle Dee or Tweedle Dum went on one ride with me, and my son went with me four times in a row before DH took him on other rides. They came back when I was on around ride #17, and rode with me again - I was getting somewhat bored at this point, actually - and told me that they'd heard CMs and Guests elsewhere in Fantasyland talking about me, the crazy girl who wouldn't get off the teacups.

But I got a Mickey-signed certificate to commemorate the occasion - and really, I think it would have been an adorable promotion for Disney to do something like this - one Birthday guest in each park each day gets to go on one ride as many times as their age, plus one to grow on, up to the end of the Park day or EMH if the winner is a Resort guest. Older people probably wouldn't do it, but can you imagine being 11 and learning that you can go on Space Mountain 11 times in a row, or five and getting five rides on Toy Story Mania?

My daughter will be 7 on the 26th-we'll be there! SHe's having breakfast with the princesses, and dinner with Cinderella we are really excited. She's going to use her $75.00 gift cards for a new princess dress!
