Has anyone switched from either Rogers or Telus to the Koodo carrier? If so, are you happy with the service, reception, price...etc.?
Thanks
John

I think Koodoo is Telus so the coverage would be the same. It is just their no frills branding. Like Fido is to Rogers.

yes, we have had a koodo account since April/08. We have the $25/month with 100 mins of talk, unlimited text, including photos. We have had no issues at all. the monthly bill comes to approx $32-35/month with taxes. No issues with service, reception, or anything! Rogers is crazy expensive, with crappy reception. Had that for a few years, and am glad to be rid of them! if you have any other questions, just ask!

I'm a happy KOODO customer. I just have the lowest plan as the phone is is used just a few times a week. Think I have 50 minutes local and texting for about $18/mos. Reception is great in western GTA.

Does your KooDo phone work in the USA?
I've been a pre-paid user for a few years after having the mega plan with the mega bill. Now I find myself needing a regular plan that will allow me service in the US.
I even had a US pre-paid but that no longer is an option for me.

Thanks folks. Thinking about the 100 minute and unlimited texting for our 17 year old son. Appears to be a better price than his current Rogers plan.

My daughter switched plans from Rogers to Koodo. No problems except when I was in New York City I tried to call her using my Bell Mobility cell phone and a recorded message kept saying that the number I dialed did not exist. I tried another person's cell and the same thing happened. Still not sure why.

we have the $25 plan of 100 minutes and unlimited text messaging for my daughter. I paid the extra $5 for voice mail. I have no complaints and will switch my other pay and talk phones over when the phones die. I like the no monthly activiation fees and that evenings start at 7pm.
I have not had to try phoning long distance.
