Western Cruise- Beach picks ..please help

Hello,

We are crusing in July.. Anyone have a recomendation for a Beach day in Cozumel or Grand Cayman? My husband LOVES beautiful, clean, beaches where we can just lie around.. Any tips?

I don't know that much about grand caymen- looks like 7 mile beach?

100% Grand Cayman (especially if you are doing one of the Disney excursions). The Beach Break in Cozumel is PACKED with tons of people from many, many cruise ships-- the chairs are packed in rows like sardines on the beach.

7 mile in GC is nice, but my FAVORITE is (even though the travel there is long) Rum Point Beach! It is quiet, serene & every time I have been there (4) Disney has been the ONLY ship there. I LOVE THAT PLACE!

We just cruised in November and only did beach outtings. We'd been to Chakanaab in Cozumel and didn't want to do it again so we tried Paradise Beach - we were the first ones there and one of the last to leave - short cab ride, lots of things to do (if you so choose) and not too busy. We LOVED it! In Grand Cayman, our friends took the DCL excursion to Sea Grapes so we just cabbed it there - much cheaper and we found we didn't need a chair. Granted, we inquired if we could rent one if the excursion didn't use them all and the guy just said wait for the DCL people to show and we could take any empty ones. It was a nice beach, little cafe/bar nearby with good food and lots of drinks - again, could choose to do activities but we just chilled. We enjoyed both!!
