I have been thinking about quitting my gym and buying a Wii and Wii Fit to work out with. Before I become Wii Fatter. My gym membership is very reasonable, but they don't have a pool and the class schedule is not really to my liking. The one class I did take got moved from the convenient time, to a non convenient time. I am hoping the new L.A. Fitness rumored to be coming to my neighborhood becomes a reality, but the site isn't even built yet. So I don't see that opening within the next year.
What do you think?

I have the Wii fit and like it for those days when you can't get a gym work out in and I have only 20 min but it does not completely replace it especially with Cardio.

Im a huge fan of working out at home with workout dvds...most of the workouts are as good if not better than the classes I take at the local new york sports club (I live in nyc and the instructors are the best)
I also have the Wii Fit but I do not think it should be substituted for a gym, I do not think you burn enough calories with it.
I love Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred, Jilian Michaels Biggest Winner 5 Disc Set, Biggest Loser Power Yoga, and the turbo jam videos.
By the time I pop a dvd in and workout its alot quicker than having to get dressed, walk or drive to a gym and then come back..it leaves less time for excuses.
