Hey I'll be on honeymoon at WDW, but I'll be a solo golfer.
Can anyone recommend a specific course (Besides Oak, I'm NOT WALKING!) that would be good for me! I'm not a beginner, but I'd perfer to golf alone since I'm slight better than terrible, and being grouped up wouldn't be comfortable to me.
I know I should probably go during "Twilight rates" which I plan to do (And while my new bride takes a nap!).
Thanks for your help!

The "bad" news is that you're probably going to be grouped with other golfers. DH golfs often at WDW as a solo, and he's always grouped with other people by the assigner. The good news, though, is please relax and have fun! Most golfers at WDW tend to be resort, occassional golfers. DH is a pretty good golfer (scratch handicap),and his biggest complaint with fellow golfers at WDW is that sometimes people are too concerned with ability. As he says,"We're on vacation-enjoy!"
Oh-one of the courses at Shades of Green would probably be good for ease and scenery-unfortunately,I can't remember which one is easier.

Like the others have already said, more than likely you will be paired up with someone as you head out for your round. I have done that many times at each of the golf courses, and with very few exceptions I have enjoyed everybody's company. There was one guy who saw an open hole and ran ahead...didn't even finish the hole we were on...he just wanted to be by himself. And the other guy couldn't stop complaining. LOL
I have golfed at each of the courses. I used to prefer Osprey Ridge and Eagle Pines, but since the deal with the Four Seasons I am now spending most of my time at Lake Buena Vista and Magnolia.
If you go to the Disney World website you can see each course's description including a virtual tour.
When will you be honeymooning at WDW? You are a lucky man...a new bride letting her new husband go off to golf on their honeymoon. I envy you...:worship:
