I've seen the 4/3, but can find anything that is avaliable for Ft. Wilderness campground.:sad2: Are there any discount offers avaiable?

I know Ft. Wilderness campgrounds offer AAA discounts, but I'm not sure if they qualify for any of the other discounts.

Do you know what discounts are offered. We aren't currently a AAA member. Would it be worth it to join?:thumbsup2

I can't answer your question personally, but you REALLY should post your question over the camping board here in DIS!!! There are some super-de-duper knowlegeable folks over there who would love to answer your questions about the Fort.

AAA DISCOUNTS
Value Season: 15% off at Value, Deluxe and Deluxe Villa (Disney Vacation Club) resorts; 20% off at Moderate resorts and Ft. Wilderness cabins and campsites.
Regular Season: 10% off at the Deluxe and Deluxe Villa (Disney Vacation Club) resorts; 10%-15% off at Value and Moderate resorts and Ft. Wilderness cabins and campsites.
Peak Season and Summer Season: 10% off at all resorts.
AND WELCOME to The Dis and the camping board.

With occupancy rates generally higher than 90% Disney really doesn't need to offer discounts to get folks to camp at Fort Wilderness. Discounts are generally used to increase occupancy rates of slower properties and/or slower times of the year.
While AAA discounts on sites are available for certain time periods, the number of sites is limited. You can book a site, and if AAA discounts are made available for the time period you are there you can call back and have the discount applied to your existing reservation.

You asked if AAA membership is worth it. YES. At only $45 per year, it has paid for itself in the discounts for Disney alone. As a matter of fact I have Good Sam service for my actual emergency road service.

Typically, most of the offers like the 4/3, free dining, etc., do not apply to campsites at FW (cabins typically do). :sad2:
In our experience, the AAA discounts are worth it for packages, but we've never saved much on a "room only" reservation.

AAA is worth it! I just added a day to our existing reservation and had the AAA discount added and the grand total went up $5.00!!! That is for a partial hookup site. Looks like it got us one night free! (I haven't done the math to see what % off that is though, sorry.)

It saved us around $100 for our trip in early December. Site only. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
