Can we buy the dining plan with our tickets even if staying offsite, would it be worth it? I have been doing daily research and talked myself out of the plan from the start but now I am re-thinking, can I buy ddp for self and husband and pay oop for the kids? DS 12,11,10 , too old for kids menu but really picky and not big eaters. I started thinking if we bought 2 or 3 meal plans then I could use my cs or snack for the boys. Also, if we buy an 8 day ticket then we must buy 8 dya dp, if we up grade to 10 day do we have to upgrade the dining plan as well?:confused3 :confused3

You must be staying at a Disney resort to purchase the meal plan. You also must buy the meal plan for everyone in your party for your entire stay.

Nope. You must be staying at a WDW resort.( the Swan and dolphin do not apply).Plus, everyone in your party must be on the same plan, and it is for the number of nights of your stay.So you could not get it for more or less than the number of nights you are staying at a Wdw resort.

According to a phone call I had with Disney last week you can only purchase the dining plan through a Magic Your Way Package. It is not offered to those who just have even Disney resort reservations. The only other way they told me I could get it was to be a Vacation Club member.
