Thank you. I check golf car enterprises and I think for a 4 person electric it is $200 a week, that's much cheaper than Disney prices, aren't they like $50 something a day? We can get an 8 person electric cart for $300 a week.

Don't forget to include delivery fee (about $70). We priced a 4 person electric cart with windshield for a week with golf enterprise and it would have saved us almost $100 for a week. unfortunately we have had to cancel our trip.

Is it $70 for delivery and pick up or $70 each way?

For pick up and delivery it was a total of $70 but even with that were were going to save close to $100 for a week.

Thanks for the tip. My husband called him this afternoon and he hooked us up with a four person cart for 8 days for just under $250.
What kind of condition, color, etc. was the cart he rented you?

Same with the one we rented from Golf Cart Enterprises. The guy said it was about 2 years old, but it was immaculate and ran perfectly. (also a white Club Car btw) :thumbsup2

Thanks again! That tip saved us at least $230.
Do you by any chance know if it was 36 volt or 48 volt?
Sorry for all the questions.:)

Just got off the phone with Kenny.. all I can say is thanks to the person who found this guy.
For 1 week, the cart rental, delivered, comes to $230.70. The cart is $150, delivery is $60, and the rest is tax.
It's a 48 volt cart that includes the windshield AND the plastic rain shield, as well as other stuff I didn't write down. He said they are in excellent condition and are club cars.
We had to pay the entire amount in advance. He said that he does this to ensure he doesn't have any no shows.
He also said that he will deliver whenever we show up, even if our flight is late and will also pick up early the following Sat if our flight is on the early side.
Now I have to call Disney can cancel their ridiculously priced cart ($407 for the same week).

He sent us an email confirming the rental. It said they headlights and tailights. I am so excited about the savings. I can put that extra $ on my annual pass renewal.

Thanks for the info! We are going to have two families on our site and were worried about renting one cart for 8 people...looks like we might rent a 6 person cart instead!

I'm feeling hopeful, but a little pessimistic. Has anyone actually gotten a cart from Kenny yet? Does having to pay in full, in advance, not make anyone else nervous?
If you've had one delivered by him, where exactly does he do the hand-off?
Thanks!

When Kenny delivered a cart to me we met him in the overflow lot. It was very easy to do.

Thanks for the info. If you don't mind my asking, was that recently? I found some sites where people say you can't have them delivered anymore.

and there is discussion about it here:

I would call FW, but my phone died last night and I'm waiting for BellSouth to show up. :(
Thanks so much!

I was just durning Christmas week. Disney will no longer allow outside companies to deliver carts to your site. We just met him in the ourflow lot and picked it up from him there.

It is true that they no longer allow outside companies to deliver directly to your site.
We rented from Golf Cart Enterprises last month (11/30-12/19) and met them in the overflow lot too. We asked if he ever had a problem with Disney, and he said no. They dropped the cart off on a GCE flat bed truck, so it's not like anyone interested wouldn't have noticed.

I think if Disney's carts are sitting around and there are private carts and rentals all over then there would be a problem. To be honest, I'm kinda surprised they don't charge a trail fee like most campgrounds. shhhhhhh shhhhhh they might read this.

Agreed. The GCE guy said that Disney even calls them when they need extra carts - primarily for events. Certainly doesn't seem like FW is having any trouble renting all theirs out by the look of all the green FW carts in the cart lots at the bus stop/marina.

Oh geez, don't give them any ideas!
