Key West Stores (Beer)

I was wondering if there are any stores that anyone who has been to Key West would know of that are near the dock that I could stop and buy some beer.(case, 12 packs)
We are going on the May 25th Western and dont want to lug beer on board with carry ons the first day if we can buy it the next day there.

Good question. There's lots of bars near the pier, but I'm not sure about places where you could get take-out stuff. Shirley?

In order to be able to get reasonable prices for drinks, beer etc - here is the scoop -IF there was any place close to Mallary Square you would pay more than it is worth - honest - here is the solution and I had forgotten all about it until my mind started wondering up and down the streets of KW - you can go to Fausto's Food Palace located at 522 Fleming Street which is one block off Duval Street - phone number 305-296-5663 - Fleming Street is right in front of the Hotel LaConcha which is now also a Holiday Inn - anyhow they should have what you need - NOW to get a bargain you will have to go on to Roosevelt Blvd and go to Winn Dixie and that address is 2778 S. Roosevelt Blvd.

Ahhh yes, Fausto's. I've been there ( Had to get some chocolate milk ;) ). We were staying at the Ambrosia House just down the street.
