My family and I stayed at SSR in the springs building room 4210 in Dec. Has anyone else who stayed in the springs noticed how worn the capets were? The ones in that room were worn and had a large number of stains. This was are first exchange with DVC. Also, there was a large amt of dust on the dressers etc in the rooms. We had a decicated 2 br. While the room itself was nice, I guess I just expected the mousekeeping to be better as well as the carpet etc. Has anyone else had a similiar experience? Is this one of the first buildings built? Maybe that is the reason?

Did you report the condition of the room to anyone? What was their response?
You should also report the condition to: dvcmembersatisfactionteam@disneyvacationclub.com
I have been told that reports to Member Satisfaction are forwarded to DVC Management and that they are acted upon.

We were at the Springs 12/26-30. I noticed the carpet also, but that didn't bother me as much as the black mold on the shower curtain! I called the front desk and told them about the mold, someone was at our door in less then an hour to change it. Quick reponse but not sure why no one (mousekeeping) noticed it - a little disturbing.

Ironic you state that about the shower curtain. When we stayed in the springs we had the exact same thing. They fixed it within a half hour but GROSS how can you miss it? I'm actually pretty flexible with the rooms as I understand how they get beat on as I see what my 3 young kids do to them. But a black shower curtain!?!?!?!? I was pretty floored that it was like this......then again they fixed it ASAP so it didn't bother me. Just odd to see more reports of the same thing.
