Thank you for the greetings! I'm enjoying a wonderful day...been getting lots of phone calls, cards...We've just returned from WDW, it was our first NY eve celebration there, and we hope to make it an "every other year" tradition!!! We made our air/hotel bookings before WDW announced the freebies for your birthday date this year. OTOH, this way, we picked up our dogs from the kennel, so they don't have to spend the whole weekend there, so they are happy:dogdance: and I am too! Buster and Emma are great dogs.

The only bad note is our luggage is still missing,:headache: and in itare the gifts I bought for my birthday twin. I had hoped to mail the package today...but now Monday will be the earliest.

Not yet, but our luggage just arrived! It flew from Columbus to Cincinnati to Dayton and then was delivered to us by truck. Whew!

I am having such a great day! Thank you for all of the good wishes. I'll be topping it off with a sundae with Graeter's ice cream after dinner.

Thank you for the wishes. Sorry to hear that it was so cold in Paris! We were at WDW on NYE and watched the French film twice to help the time go by faster. I love that film, the music and scenery makes ME want to go to France! Do you go often to DLP? We've only been to France once, to Mt. St. Michel...it was a day in port from a cruise ship...that was beautiful.

I have been DLP 6 times in the last 12 months :rotfl: Going back in September. Its such a lovely park. It really snowed all this week when i was there.

I have been WDW twice, not taken my Daughter though. She enjoys DLRP so much i'm going to wait to take her WDW when she can appreciate it fully.

What I like the most is that the gifts are all from DisneyLand Paris, and are things that I couldn't get myself.

First and the best is a MUG! I like mugs and this one is great...Mickey and Minnie, Pinnochio, Stitch, Sleepy, characters from Roger Rabbit are all on the mug. This will be a fine wake up helper for me!
A Minnie MP3 holder.
A Pen with multiple color inks. I teach math...can always use colored pens...yes, especially the red ones!
The DisneyLand Paris Bookmark...celebrating 15 years, is my next favorite. I'll use it to hold the place in my math book. I use Disney Folders to hold my notes, and any and all reminders of my Happy Place is welcomed by me!

I'm happy to say that everything is in perfect condition...very well wrapped!!!:thumbsup2
