WISHing all my teammates a happy new year!

It's been almost a year since I found these WISH boards, and with the help of everyone here, I've kept up my health goals for the past year. Next week, a half-marathon. This time last year when I asked my husband if I could do the half, he did not think I could do it. I have trained the best I can to get to this point, and I've made so many great friends in the process.

I am looking forward to seeing so many of you all next week.

Have a happy, HEALTHY new year, everyone.

My resolution? To keep on keepin' on with the health program I've been working on. :-)

Happy New Year everyone! Even if my distance running career winds down in 2009 (ask me right after the half!), I will still be here with the WISH'ers, I don't even remember how I found the WISH board--also a year ago, but I do know that I can't imagine making it through the Minnie and the half without everyone here.

Thanks for posting Duckie and that is great that your resolution was kept and you will do great next weekend at the 1/2.

As for me I am proud that I kept up with the running and it seems like forever since last year when I decided to do the full. I didn't think I could do it but my dh told me he thought I could do it and so I can't let him down. That is one thing I remember when I am out there and I want to quit. I don't think I will be doing anymore full marathons (but then again ask me after Jan 11 and I might change my mind) I just think of all the races I have done already in just a year and half of running (11 5K's, 1 13k, 1 15k and a 1/2 marathon.) I don't think I would have been able to get through all that without the support of the WISH team as well.
