Just returned from the May 9 three-night cruise on the Wonder. Dining at Palo was a highlight of the trip! Our server gave us a tip for the next trip. He said that many people ask about dining at Palo more than once. Since they only take one ressie in advance, if you choose Palo on your first night and they still have ressies available for the following nights, they'll let you book a table a second time while you're there!

 Can you tell me about the ressies line? I read that there are different lines for different nights? is this true? We have four families and want to get ressies for special dinner, high noon tea and a brunch. How many people should we send to make all these ressies? Also, we will be on the 7 day western cruise. Is it different from the three day?
Thanks,
Nicole

Ressies for Palo were held in the Wavebands lounge. When you get to the door, a host takes your cabin number and asks you for your choice of day for the reservation, then hands you a number. Behind the bar are hosts for each day, along with an easel displaying a number. If you're given the number 5 for Saturday, for example, you wait in the lounge area of Wavebands until the host at the "Saturday station" calls your number and displays your number, and then you go up. The time slots for dinner were every hour -- 6:00, 7:00, 8:00 and 9:00. It's best to send one person to each area for which you want a reservation. Also, everything on the cruise seemed to start earlier than the times posted in the Navigator, so go early if you can. Hope this helps.

That helps a lot.
Does anyone know how to get the Banquet room in Palo's? We have a 40th Anniversary Celebration and there will be 8 adults. So, it would be nice to have the banquet rom to really feel special for them.

Nicole, we sailed on the 4-13 Magic. We had a party of 8 and it was my 20th anniversary. They booked us into the room without even asking! But with a party of 8 I am sure you would be able t get it .So ask as soon as you book your reservation! Joan S.
