At work and was wondering, If two different families are going together does disney know to seat you at the same table for dinner. Just one of those things on my mind today. We set sail on our first cruise on June23. Also I've read about first time cruisers ship credit? What is that and can I get it?
Thanks,

Just be sure that your reservations for both families are 'linked' together. You might want to call DCL to confirm that they are linked.

It's easy to link your reservation together. Call DCL and give them both reservation numbers along with your last names. Tell the CM you would like to be linked together for dinner. I hope you both have the same dining times, that helps alot. If not they will do what they can to get you together.

Pattyb,

We are also first time cruisers on the June 23rd Wonder!

Are you travelling with children?
It is my DH, DS9, DD3 and myself in our party.

We are sooooo excited!

I am traveling with my sister's family on the 7/27 cruise and when I made reservations thru DCL, I told them that the 2 families wanted to sit together at dinner and it was not a problem at all. Just call DCL and they'll take care of it.

Hey Paintballbusters! Did you get my 'private message' yesterday?

When our family travelled with companions last year, we were "linked". However, when we checked in we discovered our families were at separate tables - the table numbers were transposed (58 - 85). Anyway, upon boarding we requested a change with the dining manager and had no problem whatsoever. Very nice, courteous, and efficient people DCL employs. Just so you know, check your KTTW card for rotation & table number to be sure your families are together. Don't panic if you're not. I believe the changes were made in Sessions - right after boarding.

No, LDB1030, I did not get your "private message". E-mail me at work and tell me how to retrieve it.

Hi Pattyb! :)

We are crusing for the 1st time also on June 23rd. It will be myself (Kathy) my DD 14 and her friend 14. So far, on all other post we have only found about 4 other families going.

Hi Pattyb! My family will also be cruising on the June 23 Wonder. My travel agent said this was a full ship (no more rooms). This is our first cruise. Me, DW, DS (15mths), and DML. I'm so excited I'm having to set on both hands at work to keep from waving at everybody.:bounce:
