I am thinking, and what sticks out to me is how I do for everyone else and I forget me. I have to get back to the gym and such, but that means telling people NO. Can I do it? I think so, turning 40 has done something to me, I feel like telling people hey hey hey! and I was never like that before.
Please help me learn the word NO!!!

It's hard to say no for me too. Luckily I don't get too many requests, because they know I work full time and have a toddler (=busy already!!).
But then again, here I am working right now at home as we speak.......couldn't say no! lol......:rotfl2:
I plan to get back in the gym and stick to 3x a week and get back in my pilates classes. I have sort of just dropped it the last 4-5 months or so. I haven't gained weight, but lost some muscle tone- want it back, especially before the podcast cruise! Gotta get in bathing suit/bikini shape, which isn't easy anymore at 35. :rotfl: I am not looking forward to heading back to my gym - it is always super crowded in the new year......ugh!
I also plan to be more patient with my son, spend more time with him and read more to him.

Happy New Year all!!
My resolutions...
Going back to the gym. I was on track last year for weight loss and had lost 10 lbs, but lost motivation and then the holidays snuck up on me. Last year I had decided that I wanted to get myself to a healthy weight and a bit more fit than I am now. While i'm doing it overall for me and my health, my motivation is our future daughter. This may be the year that we go to China...assuming a match is made anyway! I want to be able to keep up with her as best I can! And in my current body...that won't be for very long...:rotfl:
Not to mention...I need to look better in my vacation clothes...after all, quite a few of you will be seeing me in a bathing suit in a few months!!! :scared1: I don't want to traumatize my new friends...:lmao:
And I am going to be a better housekeeper. I suck at cleaning the house. I love having a clean house, but I hate having to clean it...:rotfl2: My DH would be a much happier man if I would pick up my messes on a regular basis instead of waiting until we're expecting company and then frantically shoving stuff in a closet! ;)

My first resolution is to NOT make any change/decision about my job for the next 4-6 months!
As for the important stuff - I want to be more focused on my family. I want to exercise more, (as DH just offered me the leftover icing from the Pilsbury Cinnamon buns we had for breakfast - that says WAY too much doesn't it?)
I have about 3-4 sewing projects I want to finish, none of which can happen until I clean up the sewing room - also known as the room where I dump the stuff I haven't cleaned up just before company comes over...;)
Maybe I should just resolve to stop procrastinating...
or I could decide tomorrow!
