Is there annyone else on the Disney Camping Board from the southern Indiana area? I am allways reading about Disney nuts joining up for a trip but so far I haven't run into any campers in the area that share my love for the Disney Magic.

You know you are hooked when you have no intrest in going anywhere else for the family vacation.

I was born in Jeffersonville and my family still live in the area. I live in Jacksonville Fl now.

Howdy from scenic Pewee Valley, Kentucky. We are right on the edge of Metro Louisville, and spend most of our camping time in Southern Indiana.
We take the pop-up to Charlestown, Versailles, O'Bannon Woods and will soon add Brown County and Lake Monroe to that list.
We wanted to take the camper to the Fort in October, but financially got a better deal staying off-site at a Condo. DD had a ball at the MNSSHP.
I'm really feeling the itch to take the camper down to the Fort someday.

We are in the Evansville area but have stayed at O'Bannon in the past. It's about 90 min. from here.

It really is a small world. My parents are in Charlestown, my aunt in J-town, as sis in Sellersburg! Last year we camped in Charlestown, Brown County and visited Lake Monroe!

I am close to Southern Indiana....OR at least Indiana. We live in Columbus Indiana.

Skyw.... are you all still drying out up there? That sure looked like some pretty awful flooding up there a while back.

It has dried up but there are many here that people lost a lot. My Step Daughter was completely flooded in 15 minutes. She had to practically swim to high ground. It was crazy. We couldn't even get to her because Columbus is surrounded by water like an island. It was crazy. Anyhow, the creeks always flood around here...we all watch to see just how much.
