Hello Ladies,

I am officially back from the World (ehhh) and have returned to all the normalities of everyday life, work, more work, cleaning, cooking... you know all that fun stuff. I have a bit of a TR started and figured I may as well start posting, otherwise I will fall into the DD (Disney Depression) that I get after every trip is over lol!

Now, I apologize in advance because the first part of this TR is not loaded with pictures, but I promise to make it up to you in later installments.

So, on with the show!

Day 1 Part 1
Travel Day March 29th 2009
Dave and I woke up bright and early at 9am (lol); we had already packed the night before and had everything we needed for that day in our carry on luggage since we were using the ME for the 1st time. The morning at home was relatively uneventful, Dave picked up a bit of breakfast from Bruggers Bagel own the road from us while I showered and got dressed (What a guy!). So after a little breakfast and last minute getting ready we were ready to head to Logan airport. Dave’s mom picked us up in the minivan and offered to drive us in, so we loaded up the car and we were off. We were flying out on Airtran at 1:20PM so arriving at Logan at 11:50am gave us plenty of time to get checked in and through security. Check-in and Security was pretty uneventful, we waited a few minutes and made our way to our gate. We were a little delayed due to weather (it was raining a little in Boston, but I guess down south it was thunderstorms) so we had about an hour of extra wait time (oh-well!)

Our flight down was fine; I just wish they gave you a little something to eat on airtran besides a teeny tiny bag of pretzels, because by the time we hit Orlando I was starving!! I did get a chance to nap and read a bit of my book so all was not lost. When we arrived in Orlando we made our way to ME check in and I waited in line fro about 5 mins which I didn’t think was too bad at all. Then we headed over to the red carpet (cute touch btw) and waited to board our ME bus. I think we waited about 2 mins in that line before we were told we could board, how cool was this! For our first time using ME I must say I was very impressed, what a great perk! Not having to worry about a car or transport was a huge relief on this trip! And who doesn’t love skipping baggage claim and just getting to your hotel quicker!
We got to the POP in about 30 mins, but on the bus I did enjoy the little movie…and even teared up a little when I realized that we were actually going to WDW (I know, I know lame right?) When we pulled up to the POP I think I actually started jumping up and down in my seat a little, I was just way too excited to sit still! The big signs, the bright colors, all these things made the POP look so amazingly cool upon arrival. We disembarked our lovely ME bus and thanked our driver Cecil for an entertaining ride (he made some cute jokes) got our carry on bag from the bus and walked inside the POP lobby.

For those of you who haven’t seen the POP lobby, I have to say it is a great sight to see. I love all the pop culture boards and decorations on the walls, and the sparkly floors are a lot of fun. Now, I had tried the online check-in process fro the first time as well, so I went to queue up in the super short Online Check-In line… I was the only person in the line lol! So I got called over and was given my document folder, signed for my $500 gift card and got our DP info. So all I needed to know was where to go, so I asked the CM checking us in and I think he wasn’t sure where to send us so he just gave us a map… so I asked again and he finally drew a few lines on the map and sent us on our way… it’s a good thing Disney has clear signs lol!
Dave and I were on cloud 9 to finally be on our anxiously awaited vacation, so the walk to our room was full of pointing and talking about all the things we would see and do on our trip at the POP. We were assigned a room in the 60’s building with a view of spaceship earth which was pretty cool. And the room was neat and tidy upon arrival. Mickey Mouse stopped by and delivered the packages I had ordered and I was thrilled that they were sitting on the bed waiting to surprise Dave when we arrived! Now silly me forgot to take a pic of the baskets assembled before my DF tore into it (he is such a little kid sometimes lol) So here is the aftermath...

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000460.jpg

And some of the contents of the basket (plus 2 bottles of wine from DTD as a treat)

Glad you had a safe trip. I get the Disney blues too... The worst was when I was down there for the college program for a semester. It took me a while to get over that one. Anyways! Welcome back and I can't wait to hear about the rest of your trip

Day 1 Part 2:

So we regrouped in the room and then headed out to DTD for dinner and a DisBride meet! Now this trip we decided to only use Disney transportation, so that meant everywhere we went was via bus… not usually my favorite form of transportation but I figured we would give it a shot… Well I must say I was very pleasantly surprised at the buses in WDW, they were always clean, we never waited more then 3 mins for a bus, and yes they did get a little crowded at the end of the day but come on it’s Disney! So I will most def be using WDW transport again over a rental car, so much easier!
Ok, so now onto the night… but first a quick apology… I am a bad Diser… I did not take any food porn pics while at WDW (GASP, HORROR). I was usually eithier too hungry to wait for a pic, or just plum forgetful! So I do have a pic of a Dole Whip but I am afraid that is about it… so I am very sorry to all wanting oodles of food pics, I have failed you :(

So the first night was met with intense HUNGER! We were starving by 7pm when we made it to DTD, remember the bagel at 10am and my micro mini bag of pretzels on AirTran were not the most helpful thing when you are hungry, so by 7pm I was ready to start chewing on my own arm. Dave was desperate for an EOS Cobb wrap and I was ready for a little WPE action! So we split up got our food and met up at one of the tables behind WPE, it was a great night, warm and relaxing. Now since we were on the DP I was going to make full use of my credits on this trip, so I chose the Rigatoni with Chicken Bolognese and a side Caesar Salad, Lemonade, and a Crème Brulee for dessert. I paid OOP for a glass of cold Reisling which was great too. DF had the Cobb wrap, chips and a water (and paid OOP for a beer of some kind). Now I am not sure if it was the sheer hunger or the deliciousness of the food, but this was the best meal of the trip! Everything was gone off my plate and DF and I were happy as clams for the rest of the night.

Now, right at the end of dinner my cell rings and it is Linda (lpizzuro123) from the Boards. Her and her DH Sheldon just got to DTD and are waiting at Goofys for our Dis Meet! Dave and I finish up and head over to Goofys. Linda and Sheldon had a table for us to sit at and were dressed in some great Mickey Wear, Sheldon even has a Mickey Earring which I loved! So DF and I sit and chat and then we get a text from Becky saying she is parking and will be here in a minute. So we are sitting talking, laughing and just enjoying being in FL. Linda was awesome, she brought pics of her wedding from Misty and was telling us all about their DFTW. Then Becky came to join us, Becky was great too, she was full of great stories about working at WDW and was also in Mickey wear (well actually Donald wear that night). Gotta love the DIS Meet! So we all chatted and laughed for a few hours, DF was very quiet and when I asked him why on the way home he said “Well I tried to talk but between you 3 girls, Sheldon and I couldn’t get a word in” :rotfl: I guess the girls were too much for the poor guys lol! He thought it was a fun night watching the 3 girls get all excited about weddings and said it was a great first night! Here is a pic of the girls and then the whole group! (Note: I am able to wear the outfit I had originally chosen for our E-Pics because it was night and at night the skirt is no longer see-through)

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000464.jpghttp://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000465.jpg
After pictures Linda and Sheldon had to leave because the next day was Sheldon’s Birthday and Linda had some super fun secret plans in store for him! Of course we all knew the plans though lol! So we said our goodbyes (but not for the last time…) and Becky took me into Goofys for my very 1st experience creating a snack! I got marshmellows with milk chocolate, oreos and caramel… words cannot describe how yummy this was… I was in heaven snacking on this all week! We walked over to the exit where Becky parked and almost got attacked by divebombing bats! These things were flying right in front of WOD about 7 feet off the ground… which was a little too close to DF’s head for comfort (he is 6’2) so we hightailed it out of DTD for the night and proceeded to crash into our beds at the POP, tomorrow was going to be an early morning starting with a makeup trial at 7am, so stay tuned for details!

Welcome back Sam  I'm so happy you had a great time. I was pleased to hear that the M.E was so easy to use and the Disney bus. I'm a little worried about finding my way around (you know the first time that me and Pete will ever go to WDW will be when we get married there!)

Great start to your TR! I can't wait to read more. so upset I had to miss the meet, I was so looking forward to it.

If it makes you feel any better, it's cold here today. Wait, I forget most people don't consider 60 degrees cold! I do when it's been in the 80's for a few weeks though. Crazy FL weather. Oh well, Ryan said it snowed in Michigan yesterday. So, I guess I'll take the 60!

Oh thats right! You will have no trouble, it is so easy! Everything is clearly marked (except ME at the airport for some reason... we just followed people who looked like they knew what they were doing lol) and it is quiet easy, no need for a car IMO.

Day 2 Part 1 – “No Sleeeeeeeping!!!”

After crashing into bed last night at the POP we woke bright and early… I’m talking before the sun was up early. Since we were in Disney, and it was our first day I had no trouble waking up that day! It was one of those days were I was awake and waiting for the alarm to go off so I could have an excuse to get up and get going. Well I had set the alarm for 6:15 since Ana was scheduled to come for a makeup trial at 7. I figured quick showed, flat iron my hair, put on my dress and I would be ready (I also laid everything out the night before lol…yup I was the kid who had her 1st day of school outfit ready to go the week before) so this was a piece of cake!

Well 6:15 rolled around and we met… the bells… I loathe the bells… I despise the bells…I missed my IPod alarm clock at home terribly. The bells were how we woke up each morning on this trip, and they got more and more annoying each passing day. They sounded like deep low church bells ringing all at once and really loud and the alarm also had a flashing light on the top of it, ya know, just in case the loud bells failed to do the job…

Anyways, so after the bell incident we got a phone call… now who could be calling this early… come on you know who… Stitch yelling “No Sleeeeeeeping!!” and then Mickey came on too and said something about Stitch escaping again and then Stitch told us to “Get Moving!”… so we did.

Dave went and got breakfast while I waited for Ana, he did bring me back some breakfast potatoes and bacon though (whattaguy). So at 5 past 7 Ana arrived with a huge suitcase full of makeup, and got right to work. She asked me what kind of makeup I usually use and I showed her my basics and she came up with a make up plan for me. She used no foundation since I do not usually wear anything that heavy and used really light shimmery makeup on my face and cheeks. On my eyes she did a plum/lavender palette which really worked since I have hazel eyes. Also I did try the false lashes, I wasn’t sure at first but once she put them on I felt like I was in a mascara commercial so I had to keep them! She them put the sealant coat on, so I was now sweat and tear proof (def going to need that on my wedding day!) and I was good to go.

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000469.jpg http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000470.jpg

I will say to those of you considering Ana, I thought she was well worth it. The look she gave me was very natural and I still looked like me in the end (just a prettier me lol) which was important to me. Ana was very easygoing and had some fun stories about her celeb clients too, which being a celeb magazine junkie I really appreciated! All in all I was glad I did the trial and feel really good about having her do the wedding makeup.

So after Ana left it was 8am (time to head to Epcot!) so we headed to the bus and it was right there, awesome! So we hop on and take to 10 min ride to Epcot. Now at this point I have no clue how to get to the International Gateway without going through the park, which wasn’t open yet. Also we still had to activate our AP’s! So I head to guest relations, activate the AP’s and ask where to go. The CM at the desk calls the turnstile crew and they let us right in and tell us where to go. Now we still had about 15-20 minutes before our 8:45 shoot at World Showcase so we stroll through Epcot (without anybody else around!) and I snap a few pictures of the scenery from the Flower and Garden Festival.

Check out the lack of people around us.... pretty cool!

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000471.jpg

A kind CM took our pic here, gotta love Fantasia!

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000473.jpg

Yup we are now on the other side of the rope drop area...

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000475.jpg

This event is very pretty to see, all the topiaries are great and the whole place just looks so beautiful! I loved the Lion King display at the entrance to World Showcase, it was so detailed and intricate. I had no idea that many colors could be used. (Dave liked it too apparently...)

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000484.jpg

Now without Dave holding Simba...

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000482.jpg

Timon and Pumba!!! (as flowers of course)

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000486.jpg

Dave and I walk toward the International Gateway and I snap a few more pictures in Canada and UK before we get there too. My favorite is the one of me in the UK with absolutely no one else around, I will probably never get that type of picture again!

In the UK... all alone...

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000493.jpg

And Bambi, Thumper and Flower hanging in Canada

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000490.jpg

So right at 8:43am we make it to the IG (how’s that for timing?) and see a photographer with a huge camera bag. I go up and ask if he is Dean, he shakes our hand, introduces himself and asks us

Dean: “What countries do you want pictures in?”

Me: “Well UK and Morocco for sure, but whatever else you think is great too”

Dean: “Ok, well do them all.”

Me: Jaw dropping, shock setting in, realizing I do not have to pick and choose… THANK GOODNESS!!

Dean: “Ok give me your backpack; I am going to carry it for you so we can keep on time”

Me: “Are you sure?”

I honestly couldn’t believe he was not only going to get us to every country but also carry our stuff… I felt a little bad about it honestly but Dean would not let us touch the bag! He was a man on a mission, that mission being to make it around the world in an hour! So I release grip of my bag (even though Dave kept trying to carry it because he felt so bad too) and we were on our way.

I know I posted these before but here are the pictures from the countries we visited.

Thanks Heidi! I loved your wedding pics there too! I loved being there without a soul around, it was amazing! I actually have one more pic where the segway tour was nearby and I was so distracted that it came out terrible lol. Dave is not looking at me (he was fascinated by the segways) and I am half squinty eyed lol!

Have you seen Heidi or Carrie's makeup? They used Patricia and LOVED her, and they looked flawless! I know she does eyelashes as well (I almost had o book her at the last minute because Ana and I had a miscommunication, but all worked out in the end:goodvibes)
But if you do decide to go with Ana she is awesome to work with, she kept making sure I was ok with the look and said she could always djust it if I wasn't 100% hapy (lthough I didnt need that since the look was just what I had in mind):goodvibes

Thanks Angela, I guess I got my mom's skin, but I use Mary Kay skin creame every night which helps even it out. The eyelashes were so much fun, I think I may have to practice wearing them a few more times though lol! I had a minor mishap...

Thanks Shannon:goodvibes It was funny to see our hieght difference in some of the pics though. I was planning on wearing heels since I am only 5'2 and he is 6'2, so when I chose sneakers I lost a few inches :rotfl:
Ana did put a good amount of shimmer on though she said it would make me look "dewey" which I am not too sure what that means but:rolleyes1

The flower displays are great! I so want to go every year now! What did they have last year?? I will post some pics of the ones in front of the park too, they had a great princess one!

Aww thanks Scarlett! It was hard to pick, we kept talking about it with each other so we were pretty relieved when Dean said we would do them all!
I was actually surprised Dave liked the makeup to be honest. He loves when I wear no makeup (bless his heart:love:) but in the real world that is just not an option with me lol! I am a makeup junkie:lmao:

Day 2 Part 2 – Can we save the World before lunch?

So when we last left off our E-pics were complete and we were now free to enjoy the park! I made Dave put on the “Just Engaged” buttons and our mouse ears… oh wait no I didn’t. Why you ask? Well on the plane ride I remembered that I left the Mickey and Minnie bride and groom ears at home!!! Oh the Horror!!! Dave offered to buy me a new one since I was upset, but I said no I would act like a grown up (and just wear them next time lol). Honestly though, of all the things I could forget you would think I would’ve had the foresight to put those in the “Must pack” pile, but Noooo I didn’t even put them in any pile, I just plumb forgot!

Ok, back to the TR, since WS wasn’t officially open yet, we decided to head to future world and get a few rides in. So we head to The Land pavilion and check out Soarin’s wait. At 9:45 it was only 30 mins, but us being impatient we decided to fast pass it and come back later. Our fast pass time was for something obscure like 11:56 so we decided to hit it up later. Now since we were there we had to ride Living with the Land (I love seeing the Mickey shaped Veggies in the Greenhouse). 5 minute wait posted, but I am pretty sure we just walked right on. Random thing I saw on the ride this time was an inordinate amount of pineapples growing… maybe it was pineapple season I don’t know, but seriously the pineapples were everywhere! So after the Land we were strolling through a now sorta, almost, getting crowded Future World and went in somewhere we have never really ventured into before… Innoventions. This is one of those places where I am not sure why we have never been inside before but I though I may learn something. Now I am sorry if this offends any Innoventions fans but… huh??? What is up with this place, there were a few cute games about learning and Dave and I played with a button that makes a door over your head slam shut but that was it. I could slam a door at home and be equally as amused as I was until this point. But… then I saw it… by the exit… Team Possible needed recruits to Save the World! Now since I am “Super Sam” and have super powers like being able to convince my DF to come with me to WDW on a moments notice, and making a pretty darn tasty Key lime Pie, I figured this would be a cinch! So we join Team Possible and are assigned a fastpass ticket type thing to report at our designated time to Norway for our assignment.

Dave and I were still a bit early for our mission so we headed over to the Seas with Nemo and friends and rode our clamshell after another 5 minuet wait. So at this point we were debating “do we go visit Turtle Talk with Crush now, or do we wait a while?” Well a lady came out and said “next show starting now, come on in folks” so we listened to her. Now I have seen TTwC a few times and I think it is hysterical, but nothing and I do mean NOTHING could have prepared us for this TTwC experience. We are seated and are listening to the jokes and laughing right along until this happens…

Crush: “Squirt and I found something the other day that a human must have lost, can you help me and tell me what it is?”

Audience: “Yes!”

Crush: gets item from off screen and comes back with a woman’s bikini top hanging from around his neck

Audience: “hahahahahaha”

Crush: “So what is this thing? Little Dude in the Black Shell can you help me”

Little Boy (about age 8): “It’s a Bra!”

Crush: “A what? What’s it for?

Now at this point I should mention that a little kid had just asked a question about crush’s shell so the answer the audiance was expecting from this little boy was something like “You wear it when you swimming”… but…

Little Boy: “To cover your ****s”

Audience: hahahahaha :rotfl2::rotfl::lmao::rotfl2::rotfl::lmao:

This was the funniest thing I had ever heard! The lady who runs Turtle Talk (has the mic and gives safety rules and such) was literally crying from laughing so hard! I was crying, Dave was crying, everyone was crying from laughing so hard. And Crush’s face was just priceless, he had his jaw wide open for about a minute not saying a word! Then he said

Crush: “Ok everyone, let’s all forget this happened…”

So after we composed ourselves Crush finished his show and we were headed off to save the world. Since it was 11 and WS was open I figured we could get a Grand Marnier Slush in France on the way to save the world (a girls gotta multi-task right?) so we get to France with eager eyes and livers only to find that in France they don’t serve alcohol until noon! A little bummed we walk over to Morocco and see a beer and sangria stand open… hey it wasn’t my slush but it would do! So we ordered a couple of drinks were on our way to save the world!

Dave and I headed to Norway to pick up our Kimmunicator which is a way to talk to Kim and Dale in the lab. It is a cell phone that is very interactive. They would give you clues and places to go to stop the silly crimes that were taking place all over the world. Our mission was in Germany so we headed over and played along. I don’t want to give too much of this away because it was a fun little diversion but I will tell you that your Kimmunicator interacts with different things and places in WS while on your mission. It was a lot of fun! The missions are supposed to take 15-30 minutes each, this one took closer to 15 so we figured we would do a 2nd mission. But 1st we had to head into the wine room in Germany for a glass of Liebfraumilch wine for me and a pinot noir for Dave. Well since we had on button we also got 2 glasses of white wine to try! Gotta love the buttons! We then had our wine and our Kimmunicator and were off to the UK for our next mission (you do get to pick where you want to go for any subsequent missions). I figured since the UK was right next to Canada and we were having lunch at Le Celier that afternoon the UK would be a good bet!

Here is our little wine picnic and our kimmunicator in Germany

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000509.jpg

Me and my wine and Kimmunicator... yup I posed:thumbsup2

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000510.jpg

Well guess what, we saved the world again! Yup that’s right twice in one day Super Sam and Daredevil Dave saved the world! And all before lunch too! So with our missions accomplished and a bit of a buzz going on from my wine and empty stomach combo it was time for lunch.

Now I know the buzz on the Dis about Le Celier so I was very excited to try it, especially that soup. This was also our frist real experience using our dining plan at a TS restaurant. I ordered the Soup, the Filet and Smores for dessert. Dave ordered the Soup, a Burger and a fruit cup for dessert. I also got a mango smoothie to drink, while DF got a Lemonade. I will say the food did not disappoint! The soup was just a fab as everyone says… it was so fabulous in fact that last night my dear sweet wonderful DF made it for us for dinner! I felt like I was right back in Canada! Our entrees were also very good, however they should put a warning on that soup that one bowl and you will full for the rest of the day! I only ate ½ my steak and DF only ½ his burger! Very unlike us! And our dessert came out with a candle and congratulations written on it since we had our buttons on, how cute!

Last night we were smart though and had our soup with a small salad and we were fine, so I recommend eithier being very very very very hungry or maybe eating soup and entrée at the same time. Eithier way it was good, but way too heavy a meal for lunch when you had to sit in the FL sun afterwards… I would do dinner over lunch next time.

So I will leave you there for now, next post will have more pics I promise… up next a surprise for DF!

I swear I had posted on here, but then noticed it was another figment fan's name that I kept seeing :rotfl: I think I posted on your engagement picture thread.

Isn't it cool being in the World Showcase before it opens? You got some great shots around the world; looking forward to seeing the ones from Disney too. I keep trying to think of excuses to get in that area again... the only one I can come up with is the Segway tour.

Speaking of Segways, which side did you hit up in Innoventions? Did you know you can try out the Segways on one side. Also, I know they were redoing a lot of the areas when we were there, so some of it might still be closed while they make the new exhibits. Plus, if you have a Disney Visa there's an area for free character pictures. They take pictures and then you get a 5x7 at the front of the park :thumbsup2

Love the shots on your mission to save the world. DH and I started a mission, but had a lunch reservation at LS and had to cut it short, but we still enjoyed it while it lasted.

So, did it take very long to make the soup at home? I think I have the recipe in my one cookbook, but haven't tried it out yet.

We only made it to the side with lots of rehabs in Innoventions sadly, I am not sure why though... I think after one side didn't really catch our fancy we moved along, but I forgot about the segway trial! Now I wish we would've gone in! Oh well, now I have something to do next time:goodvibes.

Saving the World was fun, and I guess pretty popular too because we saw tons of people doing it all over WS. Kids and Adults which was good to see:goodvibes

The soup was from our Disney cookbook and it took about an hour (maybe a bit longer) but DF said it was easy to make. It tasted just like LC's too! He said to use a mild white chedder to make it not a sharp one though. I actually tried the soup base without the cheese (you don't add the cheeses till the very end) and even that tasted really good. No pretzal bread to go along with it but we used a little italian loaf from the supermarket and it was great:thumbsup2

MMMM beer cheese soup. YUMMY!! Sounds like you had fun!

I am still full lol! it was fun, I just wish I was eating it in WDW not my living room but oh well!:lmao:

Also I want Jeff to make me cheddar cheese soup again! Oh sooo yummy, last time he made a ton of it and ended up throwing a lot away because he left it out

Kim was fun, it was a little strange to see kids being realllly excited to be in the WS though, usualy you see a few who are into it (you know the kids that will grow up to be Disers lol) and then all the rest just kind of tag along, but this game had sooo many kids getting into the WS:thumbsup2

Ohh.. I loved the kim possible thing. We did the one in Japan. It was a fun way to waste some time.

About segways - and I will add the disclaimer that I am 'special' and even my dr. has said "really? Only you could do that..." and I'm not saying you are 'special' like me - But I will warn you that if you are not 'balanced' in general (I am not - once I broke a window by falling from standing still - I just lost my balance and fell into a cabinet that fell into a window - see - 'special') they can be dangerous. I did one in St. Maarten a few years ago, and ended up in tears with a broken foot
:rolleyes1 So I'm just saying....wait until after the wedding :rotfl:

Thanks Stacey, Kim Possible was a lot fo fun to do. There was one part (I won't give it away) where you had to say something to one of the shop workers and they said alot of adults do it now. It's a lot of fun, and the phone they give you is pretty neat:thumbsup2

What did you think about the dining plan overall?

Yes, Kim Possible was a good time for sure, its a great diversion in the WS for a little fun and excitment... and how cool is it to save the world. I believe our mission in Germany was saving the world from a German villan trying to control the world with his super secret mind controlling pretzels:rotfl2:... I kid you not... I saved the world from a snack food villan lol!!:rotfl:

I did love Le celier, I would suggest it as a dinner as opposed to a lunch though since it is soooo much food (and very heavy food, you practically had to roll me outta there lol)

The DP was worth it, I spent $370 on the DP for 5 nights and we spent $490 on DP food. So we came out $120 ahead. We did buy a few drinks OOP and $20 on an extra cheese soup for Le Celier and an app at Spoodles... but even with that I think we still came out ahead:thumbsup2

OMG I am the same exact way. I used to work for an airline and the cops would always come around on their segways and of course I thought that it was the coolest thing.... until i tried it. A break from the TR to give you ladies a few wedding updates (I know I still am doing that lol)

Last night DF and I were talking about our trip (and wishing we were at WDW again lol) and we got to thinking about our honeymoon in WDW. When we went to the POLY for dinner at Ohana Dave really liked it... I mean he reallllllly liked it. I have always wanted to stay there with him, but thought it wasn't his style... well I learned last night how very wrong I was. Who was this man talking to me about how he really would rather stay at the POLY for the honeymoon part of our trip instead of the WL?? Now I am fine staying anywhere for the honeymoon (as long as it's disney I am a happy camper) so we talked it all out and decided...

2/3 - 2/10 at the Yacht Club and then
2/10 - 2/15 at the POLY!!!

DF decided we couldn't possible leave WDW on Valentines day so he said we could stay until the 15th and have a special Valentines Day dinner somewhere:love:... I knew I loved him for a reason lol!

So we also got to thinking where could we go and have a special night... any suggestions, romantic restaurants or activites we could do??:confused3

Also, I am trying to book our disneymoon soon becuase I found plane tickets for pretty inexpensive and really want to lock it all in:goodvibes

Hey there,

It seems that I have had a lot to update this week, and it continues...

On a whim I decided to see how terrible airline prices would be for our DFTW/Disneymoon since it would overlap Feb School Break by 3 days. So I went on kayak.com and did a quick search...

Well I was shocked when I saw this...

Delta.... Round trip... Nonstop... $188/person!

I called Dave and said "should we?" he said to go ahead and book it so I put it on my CC and we are officially booked! Now to book the resorts and we will be all set!

Also, my mom and dad told me that they are having an engagment party for us in May. She didn't know where to have it though (hall, restauarant, etc etc) and I suggested (and I may be crazy here) Dave and I's house...

I figured since we would be having family over anyways why spend extra $$ on a hall or something when we could just do it at our house (we just have to pray for a sunny day or else we will all be stuck inside lol). I thought it was really nice of her to offer so I said I would make invites for her. Well just this morning I had ordered all my prints from our trip on walgreens.com and got a coupon for 20% off photo cards. So I took one of our E-Pics (the one in China) and put it on a card and ordered those too :) With the discount they were about $18 with tax and everything, and they will be ready to pick up tonight:goodvibes

The party is going to be on my Dad's birthday so I want to get a cake for him for that day too, he will love being around family so I think it will a nice way to show our appriciation too! (I think I'll make him his favorite Key Lime Pie too heehee)

So question, has anyone else had an Engagment Party? What is protocall for it? I really don't want anyone to feel obligated to bring a gift, I just want to have a fun BBQ with family and friends... Is that weird? And what if someone brings a gift, do we open it there? I am soooo bad at parties where I am the focus... guess that will make the wedding hard lol!

Any tips would be greatly appriciated on ettiquette for this party, I'm lost:confused3

Yay! An engagement party sounds fun. I didn't have one, so I have no idea on the etiquette for one, but I completely understand about being uncomfortable. Hi!! I'm a little lurker...far from my DFTW, but in love with weddings! I'm going to school to be a wedding planner! Anywho...just from you BOTH having this experience and how they come out with the bikini top...I think this is maybe a wanted reaction. What do they think anyone would say when they ask what a bikini top is used for? Even though Crush gets all awkward acting, I suspect they do it on purpose, ya know?

YOu could totally make it a FLORIDA Key Lime pie -- get it get it? hehehe Disney -- Florida -- Florida Keys -- Key Lime Pie...hahaha (OMG, i LOVE key lime pie, but have no idea how to make it well, tho -- what's your secret? *shameless attempt at wanting your recipe* hahaha).

Hey Sam!

thats so cool you are having an engagement party- you are crazy to have it in your house tho girl haha!! no, it will be great relaxing and having fun in your own home!

(i always think, if we throw parties in our house, its like omg the mess afterwards and you have to clean it all up, but i think the plus sides to it is that you can throw everyone out when youve had enough and you can go to bed when ya want haha!)

It'll be really good- and its even better because of saving the $$$'s you would have to pay for a hall, it would save you on food and drink too! Plusssss its your Dads birthday so its one big party in one- which is great!

I dont know anything about bringing presents- although if i went to a engagement party i would take a present of some kind even if they didnt mention anything (even something small like a bottle of champagne for the couple). I hate opening gifts in front of everyone so if people do bring you something then i would just thank them and say you are going to open it later alone together (and then i guess i would just send a thank you out to them after the party? i dont know) hehe!

Its wierd- over here in the UK showers are not really that popular- i would love to have all these showers i hear you guys talking about with all the gifts and that hehe - only because i loveee buying gifts for people! hehe!!

My favorite recipe

Nellie & Joe's Key Lime Pie
9" graham cracker pie crust
14 oz. can of sweetened condensed milk
3 egg yolks (whites not used)
½ cup Nellie & Joe's Key West Lime Juice

Combine milk, egg yolks and lime juice. Blend until smooth. Pour filling into pie crust and bake at 350º for 15 minutes. Allow to stand 10 minutes before refrigerating. Just before serving, top with freshly whipped cream, or meringue, and garnish with lime slices.

We can't afford to go to DLP this year because of all our saving and it's the first year EVER since it opened it 1992 that we haven't been :guilty: I'm missing it so bad, you lucky, lucky girl
And you're engagement party sounds so lovely I think it's much nicer to have it in the couples home than a hall or whatever. And I'll have to do you a no rain dance for you on that day :rotfl:
And I'm loving you're T.R. what happen in T.T.W.C is too funny I bet his Mum and Dad were real embarrassed! hehe
And I'm glad to hear that the soup in Canada was as good as everyone says Pete really wants to try it.

YAY FOR THE POLY and YAY for extending it past Valentines day!!

I was thinking of surprising vin with a mini-vaca for Valentines up to florida from fri-Monday and have him take off work (All depends on prices of course but we wills ee) so, i may see you there!

I think that sounds fab! Valentines Day is WDW sounds awesome, I can't wait!

Awww i had my e-party on my moms birthday!

People are going tobring you gifts whether or not you want them to. We actually wrote Your presence is our Present on the card but all still brought something...

if you need any help let me know1

I did the same thing and now I have no clue what to expect. I think if anyone brings anything I will just be gracious and say thank you and open it that evening, is that ok sounding? I just don;t want to open anything if some people don;t bring a gift and make anyone feel awkward ya know?

Oh and I meant to add that I am way jealous of your whole trip. And I want to do the mission thing especially since my name is Kim!! I would love a Kimmunicator! :woohoo:

Thanks it was a fun trip for sure. The Kim Possible challenge was fun, you should def try it. And a Kimmunicator for Kim is perfect!

Ok I just got all caught up!!! Great TR, made me so jealous I want to go :( You look beautiful in your trial Ana did a great job!!!!

$188!!!!!!! :eek:that is a fantastic price!

Oh I forgot: I love you E-pics they are amazing!!!!!

Thanks Carolina! I was happy with the whole E-Pics/Ana thing too. very simple process too which made me relieved and happy!

But I saw $188 and jumped on it! We don't even have a hotel booked yet lol!

Wow Sam...$188 is amazing! Yay!!:cool1:

Thanks, gotta love kayak.com!

:cheer2:$188 r/t is freakin' awesome!!:cheer2:

And tha's so nice that your parents are throwing you an e-party!! Such a great idea to have it at your place, too ~ especially since you guys enjoy your family's company, having it at your place would be so much more intimate -- gotta love that warm gooey family feeling!!

oh oh oh...and it's so cute that it's also on your dad's b-day, and that you'll make key lime pie!!

Haha you crack me up! Of course I will give you the recipe! I want to make the key lime pie disney-fied of course lol!

The recipe is super easy (very similar to the one Amanda posted on here) I use 5 egg yolks, 1 14oz can of condensed milk and 2/3 of a cup of key lime juice, whisk it together and pour into pie crust. I use a pre-made store bought graham cracker crust and bake for 15 mins. Let it cool and pop it in the fridge for a few hours to chill. Thats it! It is the easiest recipe ever!

Hey Sam!

thats so cool you are having an engagement party- you are crazy to have it in your house tho girl haha!! no, it will be great relaxing and having fun in your own home!

Its wierd- over here in the UK showers are not really that popular- i would love to have all these showers i hear you guys talking about with all the gifts and that hehe - only because i loveee buying gifts for people! hehe!!

haha, you always make me laugh Stace! I didn't realize you didn't have showers or anything like that in the UK. And ITA I love buying gifts too, I actually have a stack of boxes from Macy's registry for all my friends upcoming showers. I bought them all at once so I wouldn't have to worry about it later.. now I just have to give the right gift to the right friend lol (they are all wrapped the same from macys lol):rotfl2:

I think the party will be nice and relaxed (at least I hope) we decided to only invite family (and the few friends in the wedding) so my mom is taking charge and organizing it all. But I sure will be helping her out as much as I can thats for sure!

ooh by the way...

this key lime pie you keep talking about.... it sounds strange ..

Lime ... pie?

...but interesting and yummy. I think i may need to find a recipe for it and have a go at making one!.. hehe!!

I posted it for Veronica, steal away! And if you can't find Key Lime Juice, regular lime juice works well too... It is sort of like a lemon merangue pie or a custard pie in texture, but ti tastes very limey and refreshing:thumbsup2

My favorite recipe

Nellie & Joe's Key Lime Pie
9" graham cracker pie crust
14 oz. can of sweetened condensed milk
3 egg yolks (whites not used)
½ cup Nellie & Joe's Key West Lime Juice

Combine milk, egg yolks and lime juice. Blend until smooth. Pour filling into pie crust and bake at 350º for 15 minutes. Allow to stand 10 minutes before refrigerating. Just before serving, top with freshly whipped cream, or meringue, and garnish with lime slices.

My recipe is from the Old Key West reosrt in WDW, it's in my Mickey cookbook... is it bad that they only cookbook I use has a mouse on it:lmao:

MMMMMmmmm i quite fancy eating that right now!!

Well its a definate dessert i have to make!

Yes, you will love it:cool1:

Oh Yay for the disney moon that is very exciting

I wish i could get a flight to WDW for $188 lol I am very jealous lol (even though its quiet a bit further for me lol) but i would go all the time then lol

which resort are you thinking of for your honeymoon ?

Engagement party sounds fun we were going to have one but decided to much money and by time we thought about we had celebrated with every one lol going our for meals and drinks lol but YAY for you I wish in a way we did have one now

cant wait for more updates as you are deffintly doing that alot recently :)

I was pretty shocked when I saw the price so I just had to book it. If I had waited it would have gone up and I would have been kicking myself! We are going to stay at the Yacht Club before the wedding and the Poly after the wedding. (My) Dave (lol) decided that he loved the Poly on our trip (which I happily agreed to!) so we will do those 2 resorts (assuming $$ allows...)

My mom just kind of came out with the idea and DF and I are pretty laid back so we went along with it and figured it would be a nice housewarming too since we just moved into our new house the week before we got engaged so our families haven't really seen the new house yet eithier... now I just have to finish painting the bathroom lol! Thats all we have left to do thank goodness!

those ticket prices are awesome! You go girl!

oh and did i read that you're a dance teacher? I may need you to teach DF and I our first dance!

Thanks! And anytime you want a lesson just let me know, I have a studio in Concord MA that i teach at, and I would happily help you guys out:) What type of song are you thinking of doing? Are you doing a formal dance like a waltz?

I LOVE Key Lime Pie! mmmm...... pie! I haven't had pie in so long. But at least I can fit it my dress!

There is nothing lovely about leaving WDW on Valentine's day so it's so great that you get to stay an extra day! And great job on finding cheap tickets! That's soooo great! :goodvibes

I bet my dress will be a little tight after this weekend lol! I had a whole chocolate bunny yesterday ! Guess I won't be trying it on just yet...

AAWW Sam I'm so jealous that you're going to Disney again!

Aww Scarlet, we have been lucky with good deals the last few trips which has made it possible but we are definitly going to be in savings mode till the wedding (the trip with my family was already booked before we even got engaged). But just think of how awesome your wedding and honeymoon will be in WDW, and it is soooooo soon!!! Less then 6 months, you must be sooo excited!:goodvibes
I am happy my mom is doing it, she loves planning parties and she is very excited about it. I thikn it will also give us a great excuse to spend some extra time together too, with work it gets so tough for us to seeeach other more then a few times a week so this will be nice:goodvibes
We def had some funny moments at WDW but that one at TTwC took the cake lol!

Day 2 Part 3… the world is safe so let’s go see some baseball!

Now this part of the TR I am warning you all does not have any pictures… I know horrible of me but I honestly just forgot at this point lol!

So when we last spoke DF and I were being rolled out of Le Celier after a filling lunch. I look at DF and just tell him to come with me. I proceed to lead him to the ticket booth at the Wide World of Sports complex, pick up our tickets to the Red Sox game for that afternoon and look at his face. He was shocked! He couldn’t believe I got tickets for us! So we make our way to the seats and settle in for a nice afternoon at the ball field. Now for those of you who have never seen a game at WWoS it is a lot of fun, and a very nice stadium… think of a regular ballpark, now eliminate the sticky floors and clean it to Disney standards… that is WWoS in a nutshell!

So after sitting in the sun for a few hours we decided to head back to the hotel for a bit, we didn’t end up making it through the game though. I think the heavy cheese/steak/burger lunches then 2+ hours in the sun were a poor choice back to back lol! So by the end we were ready for a quick rest before the evening’s events. So a quick trip to the POP, a rest, a dip in the pool to stretch our legs and we were back on track. Now for those of you considering the POP there was only one thing I was not too happy about while we were there… no hot tub by the pool. If POP had this I would have been super happy, otherwise I thought the pool was nice, clean (yes crowded but come on its Disney!) and pretty warm… not hot tub warm… but not too bad overall.

Dave and I had an ADR at Ohana for dinner tonight at 9:30 (post fireworks on the beach). At this point it was about 5:30 and we figured we could head to the MK for a few hours before going to the Poly. So we hop a bus for MK and again it arrives promptly and efficiently (yay buses!) and get to the happiest park in about 15 minutes. We head through the gate and decide to take it slow… so we stop and see our buddy Pinocchio and take a quick pic, and I get a little peck on the cheek from Pinocchio too, this was a theme on this trip I think… I have never gotten more kisses from characters before, by the end it was really funny because Dave and I would just sort of expect it lol! Oh yea and Dave got kisses from the female characters too which was kind of funny! After our Pinocchio meet and greet we head up Main Street and of course I tear up a bit at the sight of the castle. Dave said he wants to go back to the wishing well where he proposed just 4 months ago and see it during the day. I happily agree to this and get my camera ready for tons of pics to show my mom (and of course the other DisBrides who have gotten engaged here). Here are a few of the wishing well and us in front of it. I love all the details on the well, the birds around the base and the iron work at the top.

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000528.jpg

Dave checking to see if anyone else threw in quarters (see our E-Story for joke)

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000530.jpg

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000533.jpg

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000534.jpg

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000535.jpg

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000537.jpg

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000538.jpg

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000539.jpg

And one of us in front of the castle for good karma...

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000540.jpg

So after brief quiet moment of reminiscing and just sitting together on the bench by the well and looking at the castle we realize we are in the MK and haven’t ridden on the Haunted Mansion or Pirates yet (shock, gasp!) So we head off to Liberty Square to correct this grave (no pun intended) injustice. Another hitchhiking ghost followed us home again this time… I bet we have like 70 of those guys accumulated over the year’s lol! So we bring Morty (that is what we named our ghost this time) and walk to Froniterland and check out the wait for BTMRR, 10 minutes, so we hop in line and I remember that the last time I was on this ride we had just gotten engaged so again I got a little misty eyed (I am a crier, and this trip it gets worse lol).
After BTMRR (Dave’s Fave BTW) we head over to Adventure Land for... Yup you guessed it, Dole Whip Time! The only food porn I have on this whole trip… get ready for it!

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000524.jpg

Now my weirdo fiance doesn't eat any sweets... not even wedding cake... but he loves a dole whip in WDW! That is the power of the Dole Whip:lmao:

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000523.jpg

Are you hungry yet?

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000525.jpg

After our fabulous snack we decide it’s time for Pirates and the Enchanted Tiki Room (I figured it would get us ready for the Poly lol), we ride em both and check the time, it is 7:50 so we decide to leave before we get trapped in parade traffic and go to the Poly a grab a drink. A quick monorail ride and we are relaxing on the beach at the Poly with a Captains Mai Tai in hand… this drink is amazing btw, I guess it is served all over WDW but somehow the feel of the beach sand between my toes made it taste even sweeter. So we settle in for some time on the beach eagerly awaiting the fireworks and electrical water pageant.

Dave had never been to the Poly and little did I know at the time how much he loved it… that boy played it cool! I have always loved the Poly and thought it would be a great post wedding place to stay, but figured DF would not want to try it out (why I thought this I have no idea, but now I know not to Assume… you know what happens when you assume…). We had a great conversation just sitting and waiting for everything to start, pointing things out to each other and just enjoying our “couple time”.

The Electrical water pageant started first and after a few minutes Dave looked at me and said “what happens next?” I guess I had built up the pageant to be some really cool Disney thing so he was expecting a bit more then floats that light up… oh well! I can see his point though, and I mean no offense to anyone who has a place in their heart for this show, but it is a bit dated. We both did like the random “Salute to America” ending though. All of a sudden it was like you were no longer chilling under the sea with all the sea animals and fish, you were at the 4th of July parade lol! As a patriotic couple we appreciated it, but it totally comes out of left field, you gotta love it! The fireworks stared a few minutes into the EWP so we had a nice view of both going on at the same time. After that we went inside, checked in at the podium and waited to be buzzed in.

After about 10 minutes we get buzzed and head to our table. It is a bigger table since it is the end of the night and we have some room to spread out which is nice. Now I know everyone has read the Ohana reviews and I will agree the food is great, DF’s fave of the whole trip in fact! The food was all prepared very well and served nice and hot. Our waitress went a little MIA during our meal though, but we were actually a bit tired at this point so it wasn’t too big a deal. Dave said we have to go back here every trip from now on and I have to agree. The food was awesome! In August when we come with my family we are going to bring them here for dinner one night for sure. So dinner was over, and it was time to try that world famous dessert I had heard about yum! Our MIA waitress actually turned very helpful at this point and even brought us a yummy yellow cupcake with a candle in it along with our dessert (yay just engaged buttons:yay:). I had to bring it with us though because I was just wayyyy too full at this point lol! So we ended the night with quick transfer to DTD and back to the POP where we once again collapsed into bed for a restful nights sleep.

I will leave you there but give you this teaser… Day 3 was by far the coolest day… awesome surprises in store so stay tuned!:rolleyes1

awwwww Sammmm!!

Your TR is making me so happy! (surprising as i thought it would make me sad because of being home)

I agree with you when you see the castle for the first time- it DOES make you want to cry with happiness!! I always get a little overwhelmed whenever i see the castle!

Its so cute that Dave loves Dole Whip (you made me laugh when you wrote ''now my wierdo Fiance doesnt eat sweets, not even wedding cake but he loves a Dole Whip'' you can forgive him for not liking sweets because of the dole whip eh!!? hehe!) Its sooo yummy, infact, just talking about it makes my mouth water.. mmm soooo creamy!! i only had one this year how bad am i!!??? bash in the head for stacey ay? :scared:

I love those photos of the wishing well - i really wanted to go see it this time but for some unknown reason we never got round to it and i cant remember why because we talked about going to see it when we arrived in the morning .. strange! hehe! I bet it brought back so many happy memories of that day aw- i'd get pretty emotional too seeing it again!

I love the haunted mansion.. i once - dont laugh, in 2007- i went through that whole ride with my eyes closed. I dont even remember why.. im such a scardy cat-(well that Dinosaur ride is terryfing in AK and that is what i am afriad of now!) but now i absolutely love it- how on earth do they make them ghosts .. and the way they dance???

I wish we kept our just engaged badges on a lot more too- i mean, im not complaining i only got a huge choc fudge ice cream to share ..but i didnt realise you could get so much more than that with the badges on -i should have worn them in the Sci Fi restruant so that darn lady understood that we celebrating! heh!! Its so cool with the treats you have already got and youve only posted day 2- i cant imagine how many more treats you got because of the badges!?:thumbsup2

Again, im so loving your TR... happy happy happy times!!

I know you have only just posted the day 2 part 3 but i am eagerly awaiting the next chapter!! popcorn::

So bizzare. Our DF's must have been drinking the same "Poly-lovin'" water, because Chris came out of left field with the whole "I love the Poly" thing too. Boys :confused3

Great TR! Plus YAY for cheap airfare. I'm jealous. Living in the stix, airfare isn't even available yet for the 2 airlines that acutally fly direct to MCO. I have to wait like 3 more months  But YAY for you!!

hehe!!

dole whip is the one thing you cant pack in your suitcase when its one of the things you want to take home the MOST!!!

I was thinking on our flight home from Orlando actually... which was a proper stacey moaning session and totally random at the time- but relevant now (i actually forgot of this whole conversation i had with a not insterested-i-am-trying-to-sleep-on-night-flight-your-boring-conversation-need-to-sleep wayne! hehe!)

...I was moaning about what food stuffs i had missed out on in the whole last week of me being ill.. hahah!! (i planned what i wanted to eat basically throughout the holiday! like i needed to have at least 3 choc chip cookies from starring rolls cafe in DHS.. at least 1 slushee at simpsons ride in universal... at least 4 mickey mouse shaped mallow rice cakes...hah wierd i know) but im a food monster!

....So yeah, i was thinking how it would be possible to get such things like a dole whip sold worldwide.. and i was thinking even though i hate mc donalds but, why dont a chain like mcdonalds that is world wide- link up with the man at disney who created dole whips and come up with a mega bucks plan to get it sold worldwide!? or any company like KFC ect.. that is world wide and could sell it everywhere .. i mean, i know its not the same at having it at Disney.. but come on, we all love little fixes like a dole whip?

i know it will never happen but its nice to think it 'could' happen in an ideal world!! :rotfl:

Speaking of Dole Whips, this was me yesterday:

Yesterday was Jeff's birthday and he always rents a water sprite/ sea raycer/ boat thing at the Poly and afterwards we were going to get Dole Whips. I was all excited after roasting out on the boat and we go to order lunch and I get my Grown Up Grilled Cheese (yummmm) and then as we are about to wrap up placing the order I shout "Dole Whip! Dole Whip! don't press total until we add a Dole Whip!" so we go to the page on the screen for extras and the little Dole Whip icon is grayed out and says 'not available' and I look over at the machine and  Sooo not fair :sad1:

Glad I am helping with your Disney Blues then Stace! I actually found a website that sells Dole whip Mix from Hawaii (where they have the dole plantation) and I had a 5lb bag shipped to me at home. You can make it in small batches in a regular ice cream maker:goodvibes! I do it alot in the summer when it gets unbearable here! And yes I forgive him for the whole "weirdo not eating sweets fiance" thing because of dole whips lol!:rotfl2:

It must have been something in those fruity drinks... it was totally bizarre too, I thought he would be all "the Poly is too conventional" but he was gung-ho for the Poly. Weird Boys... not that I am complaining mind you:lmao:
We do luck out with airfare since we are close to Boston from time to time, but other times it is all sold out before we have even booked:eek: so I guess it is tough eithier way. Yay for Poly!

I want wayne to catch this POLY bug... :goodvibes

all he has to do is have one of the tropical drinks there... at least that is the rumor I am starting lol!

so not fair to show those pictures of the dole whip....couldnt mickey have sent us some magically? lolol

That is the saddest photo ever... I am sorry Jeff's birthday dessert did not turn out as well as expected. Tell him I will buy him one next time we are in Orlando... wouldn't it be awesome if we had a dole whip machine instead of a wedding cake! I'll even put a little mickey/minnie cake topper on top of it!

This is so fun to read- you two are so cute!! We LOVE the poly. We stayed there on our first trip, and when the pageant went by we didn't know what it was- it was so funny! And I know about getting misty, I swear I'm in tears at every parade at disney with the music going, it's all just so emotional, and I can't even imagine if I was engaged there! I just think about my kids and then the tears come! Heck, I cry half the time with disney music in the car, LOL! And I don't know what will happen next trip, between being DVC members now and doing the vow renewal... Good thing for waterproof mascara is all I can say!!

Looking forward to reading more:)

It was really kinda funny watch the EWP because DF wasn't sure what he was watching... all of sudden it was over and he was a little confused:lmao:

Hmmm, I bet you can do it. Apparently all you need to do to fall in love with the Poly is have a drink there (they must put something in them to make you love that place) ohhhh I bet it's pixiedust of some kind :lmao:

Day 3 Part 1… The start of the 2nd best day ever at WDW (the 1st being when got engaged, but only by a little bit lol!)
PS- This is picture free, but worth it...

So after a full day of E-Pics, Epcot, Red Sox and the Poly (yes that was one 1 day…) we woke up to our painful church bells… and painful feet! Man oh man after a full day were my feet sore, I was walking like a 95 year old with a bad knee that morning! All I wanted to do today was be at the MK for rope drop. In all my visits to WDW one thing I have never managed to catch was Rope Drop at the MK, so I was sure that this would be the trip to do it! So as we lay in bed listening to our painfully loud church bells ringing in our ears we looked at each other and knew… nope, we were not moving yet. The immediate aching in our legs was too great, so I gave up on Rope Drop Dreams and rested for another ½ hour. Well we finally woke ourselves up (Stitch and Mickey may have helped a bit) and we start getting ready to head out. We pack a backpack with our emergency sweatshirts, camera, ponchos and our refillable mugs to head to the food court and we are in business. :thumbsup2

Dave and I (slowly) make it to the POP food court and on the way there I decide I am a bit cold so I throw on my zip up hoodie (this is important later on I promise) and continue the walk. It is a sunny morning, but still a bit cool so I am hoping it warms up a bit over the course of the day. We fill up our mugs, make our way to the buses and hop right on (again I love the POP bus service). We are a bit tired and happy to get seats on the bus at only 8:45am! I think to myself, wow we may actually see part of rope drop after all! We arrive at the MK at 9:05am (yup, we missed it) and head in to the park.

I love mornings at the MK:lovestruc; it is all peaceful despite being surrounded with people. We of course saw all the kids in line to meet their favorite characters, and smelled all sorts of yummy treats as we walked in… ahh to be in the Magic Kingdom. Dave and I start to walk down Main Street when a Cast Member notices our “Just Engaged” Buttons. He yells out “Congratulations to you both!” And Dave says “Thanks You” and starts to keep walking along when the CM says “Hey wait, come talk to me for a second.” So of course being the chatty Cathy that I am, I head over with Dave to talk to a very friendly CM. His nametag says his name is “Dean” and he appears to be a very smiley, happy guy greeting guests on Main Street in the morning… but oh boy Dean is so much more then that!:rolleyes1

We begin talking about where we are from, why we are in WDW, and finally how our trip has been going. At this point I am not thinking anything strange, just enjoying talking Dean in my favorite place in the world. Dean then says to us “Let’s step over here for a minute” and we move out of the flow of traffic (it was 9:15am in the Magic Kingdom after all, and our spot of the sidewalk was a bit in the way of guests running to their favorite rides lol) so move next to a doorway of a shop on Main Street. Dean says “I know you are having a great trip so far, but at Disney we like to try and make peoples trips extra special when we can.” “So I need a favor from you both, I would like to invite you to be our guests as the grand marshals of today’s parade!” :eek:I was speechless (and let me tell you that is a feat in itself, I am not speechless very often!) I immediately looked at Dean ready to say “Are you serious!” but the words were not coming out! Dave just said “Whoa” and was waiting for me to say something, anything (again the whole being speechless thing freaks Dave out because he knows it never happens, I am always talking!):lmao:

I am pretty sure 10 minutes passed without me responding to Dean (although Dave claims it was only about 10 seconds, oh well). I finally managed to pull myself together and try to speak… all that comes out are tears. :goodvibes Here I am in the MK, a wonderful CM named Dean is asking me to do something I have always imagined doing, and I cannot pull myself together enough to say Yes! Dean looks at me and says “I hope those are happy tears, is that a yes?” I nod my head furiously between tears and hug Dean, not Dave my lovely fiancé, but Dean lol! It was like getting engaged all over again with the inability to say the word "Yes", sometimes you just cannot speak, and this my friends was one of those times! Dave was just standing there chuckling at the whole development; he later said how happy he was to see me that happy which I thought was a very sweet thing for him to say… I knew there was a reason I was marrying him lol! :rotfl2:

Dean said that I better stop crying because I would make him start too! So I pull it together (as much as I could pull it together after hearing amazing news, thank goodness I had my sunglasses on that morning, but boy oh boy I could’ve used some extra waterproof mascara)! Dean asks us how to spell our names because “His friends at The Chapeau have some free time right now and will make you Ears with your names on the back” How fun! He also asks for last name, and our hometown so they can annouce us duirng the parade. Dave goes first and spells his last name “English”. Dean says “Ok now its The Future Mrs. English’s turn” and looks at me with a smile. I smile back and unzip my hoodie (see I told you that would be important), you see that morning I decided it would be fun to wear my homemade “The future Mrs. English” tank with pink Mickey ears and a tiara on it. Dean reads my shirt and bursts out laughing, what are the odds that he would call me that on the same day I wore that shirt! And there was absolutely no way he could have known that since my hoodie was zipped all the way up! Dean’s laugh was infectious as Dave and I both started laughing as well, pretty soon we were all in tears from laughing! :lmao::lmao::lmao: The Disney Magic went both ways that morning! So after we get our instructions to meet him in front of the Main Street Firehouse at 2:45pm that day and talking for a few more minutes about what to expect at the parade we part ways, but not before a HUGE hug from me to Dean! I am not sure if that is the response he usually gets but it sure was from me, it was without a doubt the happiest moment of the trip!

This part of my TR is very short on pics but I promise I will make it up to you all in the next entry!:woohoo:

Up Next Day 3 Part 2… Streamers Huh?

Hey Sam - so glad to read all about your special day at the MK. First of all, it was so great meeting you guys in DTD Sunday night during our vacation. It is so great to talk to other Disney couples to hear about their plans.

Second, it is so great that you guys were in the parade in the MK. I wish we had been there that day to see it. Looking forward to reading more and seeing more pictures.

yey! I was right!

Oh, and if you ever see Dean again, you should talk to him about cruises. The man is a cruising machine. I think that is all the two of us ever talk about!

Ah, I miss those mornings of standing out at the tipboard and watching Dean, or whomever is doing his job that day, walk by. Sometimes he would stop and ask if I had seen any good guests he could pick for the day.

Can't wait to hear how your experience was! I got to ride the big bus in the Halloween Parade one year, it was sooo fun!

Oh goodness it was awesome, and how cool that you know Dean, and his job is awesome! I want to pick people to do fun things at WDW, we actually talked to him quiet a bit that day and he gave me his card and asked me to write him the story in my own words because it was just such a funny coincidence (and I was a smiling crying mess). I have been working on it to send to him, so next time you see him tell him "The future Mrs. English says hello" he even made me my own certificate saying "The Future Mrs English" along with the one that said David and Samantha. Would it be weird to send him the letter along with the pic we took with him? I made a copy of it and plan to send it in a nice card, but do people do that or would I look like a Dean stalker lol!

OMG Sam that is so awesome!! Can't wait to hear the rest!

Thanks, it really was an amazing day:cloud9:

Oh - I wish you had called us. I think we were just hanging out at the pool that day and went to 'Ohanas for dinner at 5:00pm. We could have headed over early.

I have to find out who this Dean person is and seek him out.

It's funny because Dave and I watch the Disney Travel channel shows on TV and we DVR them. Up Next Day 3 Part 2… Pre-Parade Jitters!

So Dave and I had just been asked (in my opinion) the most awesome question at the Magic Kingdom and we were ready to hit the park! We took our usual route and went left towards adventure land. Now I should probably tell you that Dave’s dream job is to be a driver on the Jungle Cruise… oh that boy! So of course we had to ride that first… the whole time I was bouncing around in line because the excitement had not warn off. We had a successful cruise through the jungle and made it back in one piece about 10 minuets later. Not bad for cruising to the Amazon and the Nile river, and back lol.:rotfl2:

We decided that since we had gone on a few rides the day before we would take it easy today... Well easy for us did not turn out as planned. We followed the “let’s do what we feel” plan which we did not realize involved crossing the park an estimated 15 times during the day… we were all over the place. This is the last time I will do this way of touring because as relaxing as it was by the time we were scheduled to be in the parade we were so happy to be able to sit still for a half hour or so! by the way this is a picture Dave took to remember how excited I was that morning

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000544.jpg

And here I am with my favorite sign in the MK, Dave calls me his little Nugget (strange pet name I know, but hey it works for us) so it is very appropriate

During the morning we rode BTMRR. Splash Mountain, got a fastpass for BTMRR for an hour away, got our 1st Dole Whip of the day, and did a little shopping. Now, getting packages delivered to your hotel is so easy, the downside is that you forget how much you bought because you are not carrying it all day, which in turn makes you forget how much $$ you have spent… good system Disney, very tricky. So around 10:30 we decided to do a little shopping in the Christmas store in Liberty Square. I love Christmas (yes even in the springtime) and we found out how un-crowded this place is during the day. It was wonderful being able to look around without swarms of people around you. While I find a cute ornament for our tree (I try to get one on each trip) I see Dave talking to the ladies who work in the shop. There was a little circle around him so I wander over and see what is going on. The ladies all saw his “Just Engaged” Button and started doing the “girly” thing, asking how he did it, was she surprised, where did he propose, how long we had been together… you know usual girl talk. Dave’s head actually began to spin at this point…:sad2:

He looked a bit relieved that I joined him because they all started asking me the questions that made my poor DF’s head spin. Which being a girl I happily began to answer. We did the whole looking at the ring thing, and we got the “Awwww’s” when I said he proposed by the wishing well. Also the lone gentleman CM at the shop came over and gets in on the conversation as well. So after chatting with them for a few more minuets we head over to the register to pay and right as we are leaving we say goodbye to our new friends who all yell “Noooo, you can’t leave yet!” So we stop and one of the ladies run’s over and says “We made you something!” They had made us a Mickey Ornament that they had written “Just Engaged WDW” on for us! It was really sweet and they all said they will be stopping by our wedding next year too lol! They sent it back to our hotel with the ornament I had bought (and they also wrote the date on the one I bought for free too). It was so nice and they said that on our trip in August we had to stop in and say hello to them! We will be doing that for sure, they were all so nice and made a special day even specialer (is that a word?):lovestruc

At this point of the morning I am not even walking anymore, I am simply floating around the MK on :cloud9:cloud 9! But we realize that it is 11am and we are starving! Casey’s it is! :yay:We order some corn dog nuggets, fries and a drink, and sit and watch a few old cartoons while we snack  While sitting and eating lunch I look at Dave and notice that in the sunny FL weather he has taken off his jacket that he had on that morning… and he had on a shirt that he found randomly one day listing a pub crawl he once did in his wild and crazy youth lol! It said “Grab the Crew, Drink some Brew, Stay out Late, Bring Home a Date” … I am surprised that I let him out wearing something like that in WDW. At home is one thing, but this is Disney! I must have been so tired that morning I didn’t even notice (and he admitted he didn’t either, he just grabbed a shirt in his coma like state that morning hee hee) So I went into the shop connected to Casey’s and picked up a Mickey Tee for him to wear in the parade that day… how convenient that we were somewhere with unlimited souvenirs at our fingertips lol! Since then he has been wearing his Mickey shirt quiet a bit I might add…:rotfl:

So we finish our lunch/mid morning snack and head over to Tomorrow Land. We grab a fastpass for Space Mountain and then hit up Buzz (10 min wait), Monster’s Inc (5 min wait), the TTA (no wait) and the Carousel of Progress (no wait)! Gotta love the mornings at WDW! At this point it is around 12:30 and we decide to head back over to Frontier Land and use our Fastpass we got earlier for BTMRR. On the way we stop and ride the Haunted mansion again and the finally hit up BTMRR. The way our fastpasses were issued that morning was very convenient because we were able to have a few at a time with the 2 hour thing and the time of the ticket itself. So we also picked up another FP for Splash later in the day (it was very busy at this point and the wait times for those 2 were long… like 80 minuets long). Since it is 1:45 by now and we only have hour before we meet up with Dean again we grab one more Dole Whip Float, and head to Main Street to do a little window shopping (which actually turned into regular shopping… darn Disney and their tricks!) I saw the greatest stuff in the art of Disney store (or whatever it is called at MK) and picked out all the things I would get if I hit the megabucks! :woohoo:

In the Emporium I figured I would buy a few things that I had eyed earlier in the trip and have them shipped to the POP rather then wait until that last day and fumble with packages in DTD. I got 2 stemless wine glasses (Dave always complains that my wine glass with a stem blocks his TV view when he is laying on the couch lol) and matching T’s for my mum and I… back-story to this… when I was a kid my folks took my to WDW and we went on Mr Toad’s Wild Ride at the MK, now for some reason this ride scared the pants off me as a child! (Maybe it was the whole you follow Mr Toad to hell part of it… anywho…:rolleyes1) so if I ever acted up after that trip my mom would say “Samantha you better behave or we will make you go on Mr Toad when we go to Walt Disney World”! This worked like a charm because I NEVER acted up after hearing that! So back to present day, I found a Tee in the “Vintage Magic Kingdom” collection of T’s with Mr Toads Wild Ride on it! So I had to get them for us, it was too perfect to pass up! I also got a photo album for pics of the trip and bamboo Mickey cutting board. So I head up to pay and get offered the gift with purchase they are doing… I am not strong enough to pass these up… I am the sucker that they market these for… so I buy the $10 Mickey watch for Dave and one for me too… I have no willpower.:scared:

I check my phone (why I didn’t just ask to wear the watch is beyond me at this point:confused3) and see it is 2:35!!! Yippee!!! So we walk over to the Firehouse and wait for Dean. He arrives a few minutes after we do and tells us to use the restroom now because once we go backstage we won’t have another chance. He tells us we are going to be riding with another family from Chicago that day and we have to wait for them to arrive as well. They get there and Dean opens up a bag and hands us each a set or personalized Mickey Ears and certificates saying we were the Grand Marshals that day… he also had a special one made for me that said “The future Mrs. English” on it which I thought was so cute! :flower3:

Dean tells us that no pictures are allowed backstage and he will take a close up of us in the car but that is all he can do. I was just so happy I could have started dancing right then and there! So we head backstage and see it… Mickey’s Limo… our ride for the day… now I was a good Disney bride and asked if Dave and I could use it for our Wedding instead of the Carriage, Dean laughed and said “Well I bet you could, no one has even done that before!” I laughed and made a mental note to save up a ton of money for it lol!

The limo itself was very cool, all white with big colorful Mickey balloons on it and 2 rows of blue leather seats (which got very hot during the parade btw). It is an open top limo so they were al ittle warm when we sat down too. Dean then showed us a secret that not many people get to see on the limo… the treads on the tires… they are custom Mickey heads!

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000547.jpg

I want those for my car! All the details on this car just blew my mind, it was awesome. So we settle into the car and are given our streamers to wave and told our job for the day… smile and wave… that was it… just have fun, heck I was already doing that and I figured this would be a good chance to practice my princess wave before the wedding lol. Dave said that "You are the only person I would ever wave a streamer for" and (a bit grudgingly) held his streamer proud for the whole parade! (He also said he was glad none of his friends could see him waving a streamer):lmao:

So we are getting ready to go, Dean snapped a quick pic of Dave and I (and one of the tires) and he says “Ok be very quiet and listen” They announce that “the parade will be starting in just a moment, and that the Grand Marshal’s today are the ? Family from Chicago Illinois celebrating their 1st visit, and Samantha Lee and David English celebrating their engagement here at the Magic Kingdom from Newton Massachusetts!” Dean said we would hear it again during the parade but we might not hear it that well again. So streamers in hand, smiles on, Ears in place we were ready to go. Then, the gates opened…

ok, so first of all I have to say...you are so right about the Disney hotel shipping trick...but it works like a charm ;)

Second, I truly thought I was the only one who fell for the "gift with purchase" gimmick...it drives Candi crazy :rotfl:

Lastly, I started crying when I read about the nice people in the Christmas shop....I just love the Disney Magic. And, because I am such a sap I continued crying when I read about you meeting up with Dean to start your day as the Grand Marshall. It really is like a dream come true:goodvibes

Just finished reading what you've written so far of your trip report and WOW, what a trip you had! How awesome to be chosen as the grand marshalls. :)I too am wondering how you will top this vacation on your wedding trip! I laughed at your Turtle Talk story because I heard almost the exact same line out of a child's mouth once when I was watching the show. Crush very quickly turned it into a joke though from what I can remember. And your Kim Possible mission makes me want to go over there right now and do one myself. DF and I keep meaning to do one but living here really does spoil you...every time we've been in Epoct lately the return time to get your mission has been an hour or more away and we look at each other and say "well, maybe next time it won't be as crowded, we really don't feel like hanging out here another hour." The other side of Innoventions is so much more interesting to me if we go into one of the sides when we enter the park it is always that one and not the one with Kim Possible...that always seems to be the side we walk through on the way out of the Park. I need to make a point to remember to start on that side next time so by the time we get into the countries it will be time for us to begin our mission. I can't wait to read more of your trip report!

Speaking of Dole Whips, this was me yesterday:

http://photos-d.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs008.snc1/2854_624114302786_1514184_38898667_2980766_n.jpg

Too funny...DF and I were out in a boat on Bay Lake probably exactly the same time as you. Saw a ton of people out on Sea Raycers but we got the boat because DF is too heavy for us to be able to ride in a Sea Raycer together and I have a hard time driving one because even though I just make the height requirement I have very short legs. We were in the boat that kept going back and forth between the old River Country and Discovery Island and the wedding pavilion beach to take tons of pics. I didn't think to stop for lunch at the Poly afterwards...we ended up at Earl of Sandwich (which was amazingly the most uncrowded I have ever seen it) and I got a grilled cheese there. Next time I'll have to make him stop for a grown up grilled cheese at the Poly.:) Your pic is hilarious.

That's awesome! Yeah we couldn't fit in one boat either, although the guy at the dock thought we were going to. We were out from around 11:45 to 12:30. Aparently as soon as we left the Poly one of the water police CMs told Jeff he couldn't take pictures, something about it being in the contract we signed when renting the boat :confused3 He still got a few shots though beforehand. Maybe you were on the boat I sorta cut in front of over by River Country right as I was heading back to the Poly haha. I was too interested in looking at the shore to notice the other boats on the water lol. When we got back to the boat house the CM told DF Happy Birthday and gave him back his ID and said we were all set so we got to go out for free! :woohoo: I've been wanting some Earl of Sandwich for a long time! I can't remember the last time I went. May have to go on Saturday....

I told Jeff to tell him you said hello next time he sees him. Send the pic! Everyone does. Some of the letters get hung up backstage at City Hall. They get drawings from kids and all kinds of stuff. The Grand Marshall role is an awesome job.

Also wanted to mention cause I saw some other posts from other people: It's not always Dean, he has days off, and vacation etc, and if you call him out on who he is, he's not going to make you Grand Marshall, which should be a no brainer, but you'd be surprised lol

Yeah, we were out there at that time. Don't remember any sea raycers cutting us off but I would've been too busy staring at River Country and taking pics to notice anyhow. That's too bad that they wouldn't let you take pics. We got a lot of really good ones and the water police CM's definitely saw us taking them. Maybe it's because we were in a boat.:confused3
DF probably wouldn't fit in a sea raycer alone let alone with me,lol, so they are kinda out of the question. I drove one once back when they were called water mice and didn't have a very good time because I had to be right on top of the steering wheel to navigate the thing and I am pretty light so it went quite fast and was a lot jerkier than I expected. I ended up getting stuck and had to get rescued. I'm much happier in the boats with DF driving.:) That's awesome that they gave the boats to you for free. We took ours out from WL and I was quite happy with the free candy we got (probably left over from the Easter activities) and the extra half hour they didn't charge us for.

Living close definitely has its advantages and its disadvantages. It's really nice to be able to go whenever you want to but it also spoils you so you don't usually do as much when you do go and after a few years of going frequently you do get over wanting to go all of the time. I've been saying for 2 weeks now that we need to run over and ride Space Mountain before it closes for rehab this weekend but we have yet to go because we know how crowded it has been and when you can go anytime you don't really enjoy going when it is really crowded. We will definitely have to go over and do Kim Possible when the crowds die down in a few weeks.
Our wedding is hopefully going to be late April 2010 or early May at the wedding pavilion beach/reception at Ariel's to go along with the whole beach theme. The request is in but we're not at our year mark yet so we still have to wait to find out if we get our first choice date. I guess that's another advantage of living locally...we can be pretty flexible with our date.
Looking forward to reading more of your TR.:)

Now a Dole Whip, it is my addiction. It is a pineapple flavored soft serve that they sell in the MK at a counter serve place called Aloha Isle in Adventure Land. I insist you try one on your trip, they are the most wonderful snack on earth! I get the float which is the pineapple soft serve with pineapple juice under it... it is heavenly:cloud9:

Day 3 Part 3… It’s Showtime!

So per Torsie’s request I have been furiously typing away at another update. I am just glad people are reading lol!

We last left off at the big moment, the gates have opened and I see Main Street from a whole new angle. I am smiling like crazy the whole time by the way! There are thousands of people all looking at the gate waiting with anticipation to see what the parade would hold for them. The main streamer dancer is the first out of the gate followed by the guys who hold the sign that says the name of the parade. Then it’s us. We are the 1st car in the whole parade, now we didn’t get to see what was happening behind us while we were backstage so I had no idea what float would follow ours… well guess who it was! Mickey and Minnie were in the float behind us which was so cool, and there were, of course, dancers everywhere with streamers which (being a dancer myself) appreciated very much. By the end of the parade I think I could have performed the entire parade dance after seeing it so many times lol!

Do you see Mickey with his back to me lol!

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000548.jpg

We pull onto Main Street and start waving to everyone thinking “who is going to wave to us?” well it must be something in the air down in WDW because people were waving to us like we were old friends! Women were asking to see my ring as the float went by (remember, they announced we had just got engaged) so I would wave and, being a good disbride, flash the ring whenever asked… I think a Grand Marshal should obey the people waving to her lol. I was actually asked to show the ring quiet a bit by ladies along the parade route which I never in a million years expected but made me laugh every time. So we are waving and holding our streamers and I am snapping pics from the limo… which I will post now so you can see our view from the parade.

Tha castle in front of us looks so cool from this angle!

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000559.jpg

I love how excited the women on the left were to see us lol! They were so funny waving:goodvibes

getting around the hub...

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/tiggersam00/P1000562.jpg

It was a great time for sure. I figured I would have some fun while I was in this parade so I was yelling “Happy Birthday” to little kids that had on the birthday buttons, and I always got cute and funny reactions. One little girl was so cute, I said “happy birthday” to her and she looked at me with this huge grin and yelled back “You too” lol! She realized what she said and started to giggle and kept waving to me and blowing kisses it was really sweet. It was so cool being like a mini-celeb for an hour. We would stop the car every so often to wait for the parade to catch up and the photopass people who were following us would go nuts with pictures. I thought it was so nice that they took pictures of us since lord knows this will never happen again.

We finally made it to Frontierland and could see the end of the parade route ahead of us. We do our last waves from our lovely lovely limo and pull behind the scenes to disembark our vehicle. Now I should mention that the whole ride we were in the sun… on leather seats. So we had to practically peel our legs off the seats. Dean was there to meet us and help us out; he then takes us to our VIP parade viewing area so we can watch the rest of the parade which is really cool. Dean had said he would only have a minute or so to see us when we got here so we snapped a few quick pics with him and gave him one last big hug! Then we settled in to watch the rest of the parade. The photopass CM’s also gave us coupons to get free 5X7’s at Town Hall which is really nice too.

Here is us with Dean and one of just us too!

All in all it was the best time we spent that trip, after it was done I called my mom and gave her the play by play and told her all the funny stories. It was honestly such a wonderful experience I know I will never forget for the rest of my life, and sharing it with Dave made it even more special.

I will post the PP pics once I get them too so you can see the limo better too!

Up next, the parade is over… now what?

"We werent kidnapping her, we were getting her tonga toast"
Authorities say the woman, from England, is dropping all charges and was in on it the entire time. More at ten":happytv:

I love your engagement pictures. You have some really great shots in Italy and Morocco. We never went further than Japan on that side of the WS and I kind of wish we would have at least made it over to France when we were doing our wedding shots.

I love the crazy plans we come up with on here lol! Thanks Vanessa, I was surprised we made it all the way around to be quiet honest. It was great, but man did my feet hurt afterwards lol! Your wedding shots (the ones I saw on here anyways) were wonderful too. Did you get a CD of the images yet?

I can only imagine all the walking in such a short period of time. I know I was grateful I didn't have on heels that day either :goodvibes

Thankfully, our wedding was under the old policy, so we had an outside photographer. Randy Chapman did our shots and we have the CD with all the images which is really nice to have for getting prints, etc. I'm still waiting for the 3 year mark on the CD for our MK/DHS shoot through Disney. The original price for the CD was going to be $750, but if I wait 3 years it goes down to $500 (not much of a discount, right) Oh well, at least 1 year down :woohoo:
