I see the threads that have people joined up to watch for the rate codes - but still nothing - then I see other people talking about the codes that they got and used but they don't share them - I am assuming because they are specific to them by way of the pin?? So, what exactly happens with the code rate watching groups - will there hopefully be a more universal code rate for all of us poor unfortunate souls who aren't getting the ones with the pins? Thanks :)

The codes they don't share of PINS. They are only for the family they are sent to. Don't work for the general public.
Basically, a code watch thread is a group of folks, all traveling in the same month, that are hoping and watching for a code. They will share it and their "deals" if they get one. Moral support.

It is a great way to be one of the first to have the code and get a great booking, especially if you have been waiting a long time.

Just as disneymagicgirl stated, its for moral support!! :grouphug: But really I always find a thread for the month im traveling, and subscribe, its just a good way and one of the first lines of communication to come in if there is a code out there that the general public can use, also mousesavers.com is excellent as well! Because when these codes come out its like first come first serve, if there is a certain resort you want they only hold so many rooms at this discounted price, so you really have to jump on it when the code comes out! Hope that helps!
