I notice in the final race instructions that they state that "baggage" is to be the clear bags given at the expo only.

How anal are they REALLY about this?

And if you are running the Goofy, do they give you an extra bag, or do they truly expect me (aka the human destruction machine) to make that cheap piece of ca-ca last 2 days?

Inquiring (& planning) minds want to know.

If you're doing the Goofy, you do get two bags. Double the pleasure, double the promotional swag to sort through. :woohoo:

But Disney might expect YOU, Jim, to make yours last. Just because you're special. ;)

Please understand that I am a novice but I have a very dumb question. What "baggage" are you referring too? Is that our "goody bag" or a little travel bag? I don't know.

This is the 2008 bag you get at the Expo. Pick up two if you're doing Goofy.

You put anything you want in it at the baggage drop tents, and then it's waiting for you at the finish line after you get your medal and snacks.

I put in my Crocs, an extra shirt, car key, room key, credit card, $10 for massage, and my park pass, etc. They say no valuables, so take your chances if you want.

I've checked baggage at 2 races - the first race, they lost my bag - found it just as I was getting on the bus to leave after an hour of searching for it, but I'd given up and was going home. The second race was the Half at Disney last year, and they initially couldn't find my bag either, but after about 5 minutes of searching were able to locate it. Everyone else was able to just walk up and show their bib and collect their bag, but for some reason, I just have really bad luck. So I always keep my car key on me just in case!

I put my cellphone in my sunglass case so that it isn't visible to anyone but why anyone would want to take my ancient cellphone is beyond me.
