On the WDW dining plan, we generally do not purchase anything other than what we can get within the plan. What are your favorite snacks? popcorn:: The most substantial (filling, big) snacks? What tips do you have for making the most of snack credits to stretch the meal plan? Thank you in advance for your help!:earsboy:

I hardly used the snacks during our trip with the free dining.
I once or twice used it for a breakfast item. I used a few credits at Goofy's for some rice krispy treats and pretzels. I did get two dole whip floats and a strawberry lemonade with the credits.
Just before we left I used the remaining credits to get a box of the Divvies chocolate chip cookies for my niece that is lactose intollerant as we don't have anything like it up here.
I have heard that Main St. Bakery has some great items that count as a snack credit.

I agree ice cream sundaes #1 we had them several times at night after returning to POP from the parks.
Also for a quick breakfast we has a hot sticky bun at POP in the morning before leaving for the parks.
Another the school bread or almond sweet pretzel at the Kringle Bkeri n Epcot.
Dole whip at MK.
We could use 2 or 3 times as many snack credits and we usually buy a water or soda OOP in the parks just to save the credits for the tasty goodies.

Okay when I printed off the Dinning Plan info off the Disney site they listed snacks as ice cream, popcorn, whole fruit, single serving bag of snack, or drink. So are ya'll saying that you can get pastries with the snack credit cause that would be great! Does anyone ever gotten a croissant for breakfast using the snack credit?:confused3

... for the great feedback! We'll most definitely try the cappuccino float and ice cream sundaes! Are Dole Whips new (since March 07)? We've read about the Dole Whip on multiple posts. Definitely get a few of those, whatever they are! We're staying at Pop Century this time, so we'll get four sticky buns at least one morning before leaving for early EMH. The cinnamon roll from the Main Street Bake Shop at MK sounds like a winner too. Thank you for taking the time to give me your great ideas. :earsboy:

Generally - most items $4 or less are allowed as snacks at the locations with the appropriate snack logo.:)

Our favorite area at POP is the 50's area by the bowling pin pool.
