Do we have to carry our case of water?

I have read that we no longer can give a case of water to the porters, instead, we have to take it with us as a carry-on while we board. Is that true?

when we boarded in October, we heard the same thing. We just took 2 extra luggage tags and put them on the water and the porter took them. If you dont have extra tags they will have some for you. It was not a problem at all.

The DCL guidelines are that you supposed to carryon any beverages.

The new DCL guidelines are in the thread posted by mmouse37. Their policy is that none of the porters are supposed to accept beverages with luggage. Putting it in a rolling cooler makes it very simple to cart around until you can drop it in your stateroom.
