I voted for Bedtime stories, which I will see with my DS. However, I will also be seeing Bolt, Seven Pounds, and Marley and Me. We just got a whole whack of gift cards for the movies which we will use up.

Dd (10), ds (8) and I went to see Bedtime Stories today. The kids loved it. I thought it was very tolerable. We saw Bolt a few weeks ago. We really liked it. Marley and Me is next on the list of must dos.

We have recently seen 7 Pounds & The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button.
Both are very slow but still great movies. I didn't walk out of either going "wow" but I genuinely liked them both.
7 Pounds was a tear jerker & while I liked it, my DH did not.
CCBB is a very long movie, 3 hrs! It did not feel like 3 hrs, maybe 2 1/2. It was a nice story about a man. It reminded me of Forrest Gump.

Saw the Curious Case of Benjamin Button and really enjoyed it. I would say one of Brad Pitt's best performances to date.

We will be seeing Bedtime stories on NYeve - dinner and a movie is what we do every year.
The weekend after I'm hoping to go see Marley and me!

We went to see Tale of Desperaux and it was ok but not great. My 7 year old DD liked it but my 6 year old dd got bored with it. The story was pretty slow moving and it was a little confusing what was going on. Wish we had gone to see Bed Time Stories.

Told DH that CC of BB is 3 hours so that's out....since it's just the adults, guess we're leaning towards Seven Pounds or Marley and Me.
Please keep the reviews coming~thanks!!

Well DS and I just saw Bedtime Stories last night and it was good. Just the normal kids/family movie, but it was good. We were never bored, had a lot of laughs.
Hopefully next on the list is Marley and Me or Seven Pounds.

We took the kids to see Bolt last week - pretty funny. The hamster steals the show (I met Mark a couple weeks ago at Sheridan College - he's a nice guy too). We'll be going to see Bedtime Stories this week.

We saw Seven Pounds..should have saved our money...good concept for a story line..just didn't come off well movie wise...long long long.
Valkyrie...very good..but not a warm & fuzzy christmassy movie..
DS saw CC of BB and really liked it!

Went to Marley and Me tonight - I loved it but DH found it sad (at the end). I'm really looking forward to reading the book.
Please keep reviewing whatever you've been to see! thanks.

The kids and I just went last night for a double feature night...
We started with Bedtime Stories - thought it was funny and cute - Disney predictable with a little Adam Sandler twist. 7 out of 10
Then Marley and Me was next - tear jerker, made us want to get a dog as crazy as Marley - 9 out of 10
The kids agreed (DD 10 and DS 8), Marley was the better of the two.

Just saw marley and me as well! found it way too sad. I generally do not cry at movies and could barely keep from sobbing lol!!!!!!!!!
But it was a good movie!

DS8, and I went to Marley and Me, and loved it.
Cried at happy and sad scenes. Laughed too.
I could the same reaction throughout the theatre.
Some people left just prior to the ending as they didn't wan't to see what happens.

We rarely (as in nearly never lol) go to the theatre to see non-child-friendly movies - so, although I voted for "Seven Pounds", that will happen when the movie comes out on DVD :lmao: "Bedtime Stories" looks hilarious - we'll probably buy that one on DVD too.
Happy new year, Daisy!

Our family saw Bedtime Stories, we really liked it. My husband and kids loved Bolt (I didn't go). Would love to see Marley and Me, but hesitant because I'm worried about the ending ... Is it really that bad?
