Hilton Head Question

Has anyone stayed at Hilton Head over Christmas? What is there to do and see. Please anyone answer this I have about 6 days to plan. I dont want to do the WDW thing cause we will be doing this in the second week of December.

The weather is usually very good - perfect for bike riding. If it's as nice as it usually is, do the kayaking thing in the marsh. I wouldn't do this in the summer, but in milder weather it's fun. Big shopping outlets off the island, and the food is always good no matter what time of year. The hotel in Palmetto Dunes (across the highway) has a lovely festival of Christmas tree thing, but they take them down before Christmas, I think. So it all depends on when you will be there. There's a good local theater that may have a Christmas oriented show - right next door to Shelter Cove.
