I am debating if the middle of March would be warm enough to go to Hilton Head. I know my DD would really want to swim in the pool then. Anyone ever go then and what did you think?
thanks!

We went March 16-23 this year. It was our first time there..I think we lucked out b/c we had temps in the 80s for 4 days..then it dipped back into the 60s and upper 50s. While we still had a good time during the cooler days, we had a great time when it was warmer.
We probably won't go back again in March b/c we want to make sure it's warm enough for the beach/pool. Next time we go will probably be a June trip.

Thanks Vicki! You were really luck to have 80's. I was thinking it was probably in the 60's and that would be too cold for a beach vacation!!

We went to HH in March a couple of years ago and the weather was generally nice. Mid-70's most days, 1 day of rain and 60's. Too cold to swim in the ocean but the pool at the resort was very nice.

We were there at the beginning of March this year and the weather was wacky! We were lucky that there wasn't any rain, but it was very cold one day - 50's and then warm - 75-80 the next. I guess you've just got to be prepared for anything. Bring jackets and pants and bathing suits and shorts!
