Need Help with Fried Shrimp Recipe for tonight.

Hello everyone,
I am going to be making fried shrimp tonight and forgot what kind of oil I need to use. I think that it is just veggie oil, but it could be olive oil. Please help. :confused3 I can't find my recipe.

If you are deep frying, don't use olive oil. The smoking point is too low. Use canola oil, vegetable oil or peanut oil. They all have a higher smoking point.

Veggie oil also has no flavour - olive oil might clash

Thank you! I was 99.9% sure it WASN'T the olive oil, but wanted to check before I ruined 3 Lbs. of Jumbo shrimp. Happy Holidays!
