We are thinking of doing a short quick trip early next year. We want to stick with our fav's such as: WCC for breakfast; SciFi, LTT and Beaches & Cream for lunch; and Olivia's, Boatwrights and 50's PT for dinner. :goodvibes Should I opt for the DP. popcorn::

Most plan users suggest not using credits for Beaches & Cream as it is reasonably inexpensive and takes table service credits. As you may know, you can't make reservations there, either.
With that many table services are you thinking of opting for the deluxe plan? On the basic plan you'd get only 1 table service per night of stay and it wouldnt cover all those restaurants. Be advised the deluxe plan is considerably more expensive than the basic plan.

That's what I was thinking about, the fact that w/B&C being more on the inexpensive side, I was thinking the same about 50's. And even SciFi for lunch. But at the same time the idea about the Deluxe plan hadn't even come up and you are right, it would cover ALL the Ts's. Thanks. :goodvibes

Based on your choices, I would say that you might be better paying cash than the dining plan.
With a breakfast, 3 lunches and 3 dinners - all of which seem to be at the lesser expensive restaurants, I'd be surprised if you broke even with the Deluxe plan.
It also includes appetizer, entree and dessert - would you eat all three courses, 3 times a day (since you have chosen all 1 credit places)?
I'd look at the menus and see if each day you would spend $70 eating at the restaurants you've chosen. Personally, I'd have a tough time doing that.

At the most we would be doing one late breakfast one dinner or one early lunch one dinner per day. But I'm going to go check some menus. Thanks. popcorn::

Are you serious? I am glad I read this because B & C was one of my choices for TS. Where do I find a link stating what type of credit a place will take? need to do more research :surfweb:

Based on some menu price checking as well as now knowing that it will only be me and DD11 going (sis dropped out):sad1: , I've decided that that Deluxe DP is not for the 2 of us. I was thinking we could have done Sig's then one other TS, but then I would be paying $700 for me and DD on this plan.:scared1: I don't even pay that in groceries in a month (I don't think). :rotfl2: And even on the regular DP it doesn't seem we would break even, especially with an 11 year old who has to pay adult prices. But certainly with her 58 pound frame has a childs appetite. :lmao: Oh well. At least I have more time to think about, since I have about 37 days to add on if I want. ;) Thanks.

Oh, and the $200 gift card from Disney will help, too. :goodvibes
