Unbelievable!! Best Christmas gift ever!!

As of this morning, I now have Pay for 4, get 3 free at AS Music Resort for Jan. 4th thru 11th!! (Because DH is a college professor, we don't have flexibility in January.)

In mid-December, I booked Pop Century for pay for 4, get 1 free. With the $200 gift card, it was still worth it to me.

Following advice I learned here, I have been calling every day (not necessarily in the morning - maybe a mistake) to try to get another 2 nights for free.

It WORKED this morning, approx. 8:15 am. Because of the tax difference, I had to pay another $10!!

Whoo-hoo!!

So, the moral of the story is . . . If at first you don't succeed, call, call again!!

Congratulations on your success! Calling frequently is the best way to go - cancellations do come up, and if you're on the phone at the right time, you'll be able to grab what you want.

Now I'm nervous. I started reading all the fine print in my initial reservation booklet. It mentions a $50 change fee. This was not discussed in my phone call this morning. Only the additional $10 for making the hotel change.

Don't get me wrong - another $50 is not the end of the world for another 2 days and nights. I'm just not happy that it was not mentioned in the phone call. In fact, when I initially booked, they told me that a change fee would only apply if you decreased your price in making the change or cancelled. :sad2:

I'll keep watch on my credit card and update everyone with the results of this.

It only applies if you are decreasing the cost of your package - not adding to it - you are good.
