Bahhhh humbug

As some of you know i work in Primark in the Merry Hill shopping centre every where you go there are lovely christmas decorations and christmas music.... but not in Primark we have no decorations or music the only indication it is Christmas are the huge queues at the tills !!!!! All primark stands for is money grabbing no christmas spirit and certainly NO christmas bonus for us hard working staff. Is there any where else like it or are we unique:lmao:

No music in Sainsburys, very few decs & we had all our bonus' taken away about 5 years ago now so we get nothing!

Where I used to work there was no Christmas bonus whatsoever..... It was a nightmare job as well....

Every time I work round Primark (or should that be 'bragged round') with DW I'm always amazed at how cheap they sell their clothes.

I know they are made out in India etc. where people get paid a bare minimum per item. The prices they charge in the shops are not just cheap, they are rediculously cheap. Primark could easily add a couple of ££ to most items and they would still be good value, while the people making the clothes would be paid a decent amount.

I work in a vets on xmas day, the folks that come in have No xmas spirit( well not true some have)

I am not going to start but, it is an inconvienace for them that the pet gets ill on xmas day and they have to take time out to come the the vets(never mind poor pet or me whos had no food for the last 6hrs as Ive never stopped!)
They think because its expensive that were getting the money, I dont think so the bosses kids all have to go to private school!:confused3

Should have gone to Peacocks;) Christmas music, Christmas Decorations, and staff dress up like Santa today, Christmas Choccies as well and a small Christmas Bonus for all the staff, so my daughter tells me, who is working until 6 today and loving it:thumbsup2

Good for her, it is so nice when we are happy doing whatever it is we do!!

Although I complain, I love my job, I slogged my guts out in a factory for 7 years before I had saved enough to go to college and take 4 years out.
