Another thread got me thinking....

What are the CS restaurants that do not offer a kids meal... in other words, kids on the DDP would have to order off the adult menu?

Catalina Eddie's (DHS)
• Toluca Turkey Legs (DHS)
• Cool Wash Pizza (Epcot)
• Casey's (MK)
• Pete's Doggone Good dogs (I have no idea where this is)
• Sommerfest (Epcot)
• Yorkshire County Fish Shop (Epcot)
Main Street Bakery (MK)

Thank you! I also saw Toy Story Pizza Planet in DHS.

Is there any advantage to eating at these places instead of someplace else that does offer a kids meal(with 2 kids on the DDP)?

TS Pizza Planet has added a kids meal now. The advantage would be if your child doesn't like kids meal offerings...

The dessert option might be better too (at many CS locations kids' dessert options are limited to a cookie or maybe jello, which counts as one of their sides on a combo meal).

Toy Story Pizza Planet is off the list, as they recently added a kids' menu.

I'm not sure that any of these choices, other than Main Street Bakery, might have superior desserts. I know at the fish & chips shop, your dessert is limited to shortbread cookies.

I'm sorry to say it but the kid's options at the CS meals are pretty lame. By the time you leave if you are on a long trip you child will never want to see applesauce, grapes, macaroni n cheese or Uncrustables.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I think I'm going to have to be a good Mom and trade my food with the kids a few times! I know my kids would love the ribs at Flame Tree or Cosmic Rays.

Thanks everyone!

I agree! Although the cheesecake at Sommerfest is mighty tasty! My kids loved it. Your choices for meal are very limited of course. (Hot dog or bratwurst.)

We found the choices for kids at our resort food court (ASMo) to be quite good. :thumbsup2 DS9 did not have mac & cheese or uncrustables the entire week. Also, the kids were able to get fries for a side and a cookie, jello or pudding for dessert. The grapes were great for snacks for everyone later. Another good option is to share those adult meals and use the kids credits to get them waffles or something for breakfast.

I personally did not think the kids choices were awful, but I have a kid that loves chicken nuggets so she had no problem eating them everyday. We pretty much stuck with cosmic rays in the Mk ,or Pecos Bills because of the selection. We didn't eat Cs at Epcot( no time), and Dhs was awful so we try to not eat there anyway. Most of the Cs places are now adding to kids menus.

It looks like Sommerfest offers strudel, black forest cake and cheesecake and Cataline Eddies has chocolate cake and apple pie, any of those, at least to me, rank better than a cookie/jello/pudding.:lmao: :rotfl: ;)

My 9yo picked mac n cheese the whole time. Every meal I tried to talk her into something different fearing that she would turn in to mac n cheese. I even tried to force feed her my food, feeling like she just hated the choices. When we told them we were going back next summer the first thing she said was she could not wait to eat their mac n cheese again! I will admit when I first saw alot of the kids choices I just knew we would have problems but neither one complained the whole trip.
