I'm so excited! After last week when it looked like the trip was not going to happen.....and now I'm Dising from 84 in CT. I have to ride in the 3rd row (or the backity-back as my kids call it) so that I can keep my leg stretched out and move it around. However, DH's driving is making me carsick! UGH !

It is currently 9:54pm and we are somewhere on the beltway, exit 9 I think. So far I've done a lot of sleeping. DH hasn't let me drive yet. Of course he'll want me to drive as soon as I get sleepy again! LOL. Traffic in Ct and NY stunk so we ended up on the Garden state parkway in NJ during rush hour...ugh! The good news is the snow disappeared in NJ! Now we're one of the only cars on the road covered in salt. We have got to find a carwash before WDW. I can see the Washington monument from the highway right now. Almost halfway there!

Sounds like you made good time on the highways and biways to FL. Reverse the temp down there and you get the temp back home. Have fun. I hope you brought christmas lights for the Kaht.

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful Xmas! DH has taken the kids to MK bc I have to go get my blood levels checked. Fingers crossed that the levels are good so I can stop the injections into my stomach. They really hurt!

It's been fun here and not as crazy as I expected. Maybe that will change as the week goes on. We went to see the Osborne Lights on christmas eve. Very cool! The only prblem was that with everyone looking up at the lights, no one was paying attention to me on my kaht. It was kind of tough to get through there. DH walked in front of me clearing a path. The park itself was not crowded. We ate at the abc commissrary (yuck btw) and at 545 there were no lines for food and plenty of tables. In fact after we saw the lights at 730ish there was only a 10 min wait for star tours so I sent the family on.

Chtstmas day we took it easy. After the kids opened gifts we went to the GF to see the decorations. Then we came back to the pool and swam and had lunch. DD6 finally braved the slide, so we may never get her out. Last night we did the CP package. We ate at the Rose and crown. The food was great and we were not rushed through dinner. We did not lone up early for the show, but I don't feel like we had bad seats. Lots of fainters at the show. I was getting distracted looking for them LOL! It was a fantastic show however ok I'm off to do my blood work I'll post later!

Last night we did the CP package. We ate at the Rose and crown. The food was great and we were not rushed through dinner. We did not lone up early for the show, but I don't feel like we had bad seats. Lots of fainters at the show. I was getting distracted looking for them LOL! Ok I'm sitting outside of mission space waiting for Jack. The lines are not bad. 10 min for green side and 20 for orange. It really is much less crowded than I expected.

Weather update. 72 according to my iPhone. Not a cloud in the sky and there's quite a nice breeze. It's really beautiful!!!! My poor DH is sitting in our room with a sobbing DD6. Who had a bit too much attitude this morning and was led kicking and screaming back to the car before we even got to the gate. She usually requires 1-2 attitude adjustments per trip.....I'm just glad dh took her! Is that bad of me?

So the crowds are much larger today, but we also didn't get an early start. We're at epcot today and at 11 the FP for test track were for 630 tonight. However, there were still FP for everything at that time which leads me to think that the crowds aren't as bad as years past. Yesterday jack, Meredith and I were able to ride TSM three times!

We took advantage of extra magic hours and arrived at 715. The sun was barely up LOL. We got FP and walked onto (well I rolled) the ride. B/c I got diverted to the hc entrance part way through the line it was like a 10 minute wait. Then I took the kids over to star tours and it was a walk on. Since I can't ride anything too bumpy, I escorted the kids into the line, then the cm's very nicely took me around to the ride exit to wait. I was even able to look in and wave to the kids before they shut the door. When our 830 FP came due, we got some more for 1105, rode again then met up with my SIL and kids for bfast. Abc commissary was empty again. We took the little kids to see playhouse Disney and were also able to walk right into the 1020 show. Then back to tsm to ride for the third time. It was so fun! After the 2nd time my dd6 looked at me and said "my arm hurts" LOL.

I looked for you all week Jacksmom99 - SOunds like you had the good Itinerary - we were following the crowds all week - live and learn. We are going to drive from CT on the next trip - how was it? Any tips you could provide would be helpful. Whip
