gf smoking rooms

we are going in three weeks and have a smoking room at the grand floridian. i know that most smoking rooms are dormer rooms - can i request a regular room for smoking with a balcony and what are the odds i'll get it? Is a dormer room balcony big enough for 2 - 3 people to smoke? thanks for your help...

According to the 2002 Passporter, the smoking rooms at GF are located on the 4th and 5th floors of Big Pine Key.

I always heard that Big Pine Key floors 4&5 were smoking, but I walked around both floors and saw non-smoking signs.

I *think* the 4th and 5th floors of Sago Cay are smoking, but, I'm not sure.

I thought all rooms were smoking at the GF.

All the room in the main building are smoking optional, the rooms in the lodges are mainly non-smoking with the exceptions listed by Cali above.
