Yikes... I was really planning to finish it... sorry Mod... life just got crazy...

I should be writing a completed trip report... I just got back from a wonderful trip ... from April 19th (My birthday!!!) to April 25th...

Day 1 was horrible... I realized the problem 3 days before Saturday as I was printing my iteneraries there I saw that I booked my flights the other way around:sad2: instead of flying out of PHL (Philly) on Saturday at 6:55AM I had it flying out from MCO (well we all know where MCO is .. right ??? ). Called SWA at 2AM and explained that I need help BADLY!!! The gal from TX was nice enough to sit up with me and wait for someone to cancel for Saturday the 19th... and finally it happened at around 5:30AM.. a flight opened for 9:30AM flying out PHL and flying back in to philly on the 25th at 4:00PM...

Saturday arrived... I woke up did my usual ritual which is stopping by at CVS to buy some gum and check some bargains... morning jitters...

got to the airport and thank God I gave myself extra time since there were a bunch of kids going to MCO for cheerleading.. band..etc.. It took me 1 hour and 30 minutes just to check in my luggage... By the time I got out of the TSA check point area... looked at the tv screen and found out that my flight is grounded till 10:00AM ... Ok it still fine... I will eventually get there...

10:00AM we were sitted in the plane.. broom.. broom... off at the tarmac we go.. kreeeek... kreeeek... plane stopped.... engine problem... arrgghhh can this day get any better???

kids are starting to get restless... Sophia(my seat mate about 8 yrs. old) decided to throw a tantrum:headache: and finally another girl by the aisle maybe about 5 decided to start crying... hmmm what to do... I grab my happy bag.. and start pulling out stuff... I asked Sophia who is her favorite character... it was Winnie the Pooh... great!!! I have a mini puzzle book of pooh and hand it to her.. she was at peace for a moment... the 5 yr old enjoyed a bunch of stickers.. then a kid behind me.. asked me if I got anything for boys.. checked my bag and I got Cars stickers... he then saw a twix bar... he then said well about some twix ... I looked at his mom and his mom gave me the Ok nod that he can have some twix... next thing you know.. I have kids coming up for stickers.. candies and what not it was hillarious!!! Thank God I brought my goody bag! Sophia's mom asked me if she can give me money for the stuff I gave out.. I declined and explained to her I usually do this at the park on the birthday.. but since I am stuck here might as well...

broom... broom.... the engine was fix and we are all ready to take off!!! The flight was crazy.. everybody were bouncing off the airplane wall.. why ??? I must have fed those kids 10 bags of mix and match candies... the flight crew were not happy about the candy wrappers...

So finally I landed at MCO .. got to the baggage claim and was informed that there will be a delay since they cannot open the luggage cabin... to make this other long story short.. I got out of MCO at 4:00PM

off to take the Enterprise shuttle.. mind you I always use alamo since the counter is by MCO... but Enterprise had a really good deal for a week... arrgghhh another fiasco... got the car.. and drove to 528 west towards 4 west...

Finally am Home !!!!! Got to OKW room 5410... my cousins had already checked in earlier that day... Knock.. knock... no answer.. hmmm knock... knock.. no answer... a guy with no shirt started laughing out loud...

Shirtless hairy Guy: Guess nobody is home.. you are SOL right now...

Fuming Timmy: hello neighbor... enjoying your stay...

finally found my cousins and had a hearty meal at Olivia's Cafe... delicious Penne pasta with Shrimp... we didnt do much after that.. we hang out by the pool... chit chatted and went to sleep...

Sunday... woke up and went to check out at OKW by 11:00AM to check in at POP. After checking in... off we went to EPCOT for Lunch at Prime time Cafe... I was good at finishing all my greens it was the elbow thing that was the problem.. 3 strikes and I was out.. Aunt Donna had to put me in the corner for corner time.

after a hearty meal.. of to see the Indiana Jones... then to TOT :scared1: we did it 3x and then we're done...

Hop we go to MK... another busy day... but we still manage to do rides.. and Wishes... and just hang out by the Castle...

Monday morning I have to take them to MCO at 4AM (by the time we got out there were 6 sheriff cars by our bldg. :confused3 )... they only came to spend my birthday for the weekend :) the cousins... not the sheriff!!!!

After MCO I stopped by Walgreens... another a must... always gotta browse Walgreens... then drove back to POP it was about 5:00AM.. changed the sheets... I bring my won sheets if I am staying in one resort for more than 2 nites... to make it more homey...

and after the sheets were made I took a nap... since I will be meeting Poohbear67(Nancy) at 10AM at ASMU...

After playing phone tag I finally found Nacy!!! woohooo.. drove back to POP to drop her stuff.. hmmm and after that the chaos began!!! We 1st met last year also at Pop Sept. 2007 and became good friends... She is getting married in Sept of this year and I was one of the lucky ones to join the crew... yeay!! I am one of the brides maid and she has a friend named Dan :thumbsup2 :lmao:

It was an awesome week... we should not be allowed to have vacation together!!! but then nobody would know.. What happened at POP stays at POP !!! Let's just say we ate.. we shopped and and welaughed and we laughed somemore... We did alot of 1st ... we did Yak and Yeti together for the 1st time... we did Jellyrolls and fell in love... well I did.. she cannot be doing that.. she is getting married!!! If anybody go to jellyrolls say hello to Scotty for me aka kermit!!!

and if you are wondering about the title... how much or however we explained that nancy is getting married and I am one of the bridesmaid... some peeps still have that tunnel vision and sometimes cannot hear a thing you say... and then... Scotty and Raymond Montgomerry Mcgee was doing a rendition of a love hate relationship.. and thats when Raymond Montgomery Mcgee told Scotty... "Scotty.. I love you but "I am not inlove" you... you just have to be there to really laugh about it !!!

As off today I added another day for my upcoming September trip... I am now flying out PHL on Sept. 5th instead of the 6th since airfare is way cheaper to fly out that friday... from $155.00 on Saturday to $64.00 for Friday!!! And I am doing something out of the norm... :scared1: isntead of going from MCO to 528 west to 4 west and exciting at Buena Bista Drive :faint: I am exiting at Universal Studius Drive... to do Universal for my 1st day!!! Arrgghhhhhhh what am I thinking... the last time I was there was in 2000 so help me Walt! So anybody who happens to read this post who is going to be at the Other Realm... I am reaching out to you!!! Ok... I am typing a mini pre trippie report for this coming weekend.... how it culminated ??? Upon completing my plans for April.. I came across a mail from the AP Mickey Monitors and found this!!!

And as I was browsing… saw the Toy Story Mania preview.. Checked the calendar and I am OFF!!! Plus it is my aunts birthday and she has never been to any Disney Resort.. Only The Disney Stores. Yup Peeps… for the 1st time in years I will be doing WDW Commando style so my aunt can at least see half of the stuff we see in our WDW Life!

This is my Aunt ( she is a very distant relative that we had been around all my life… she got married… and start seeing a different light… we let our relationship got cold… and it is true in times of hardship.. Whatever you do it is you’re a blood relative will be there to help you pick up the pieces… we patched our differences and now we are tackling the world our way! Together again!!! I remember when I was 9 y/o and she was working and getting paid really well.. That she gets me everything in sight… I was her fave niece!!! We were inseparable!!! Everybody thought she was my mother instead of my real one… But then you start making decision for yourself that sometimes your family are not happy about… she got married… I grew up and lost the time for Auntie - Niece Bonding time… But now we are changing that!!! We have been doing stuff and I can say it feels really good to have her back!!)

This past winter.. Her 1st time to go to Jersey City !!! We went to her fave bakery!!! Last time she had cakes from this store was in 95!! Can you believe!!! Well she is not really a driver… she sticks to her 5 mile zone area…

I was able to get a preferred room yesterday!!! Can you believe it ?? We were originally booked at SSR for a Studio on Saturday and Sunday night then a 1 bedroom on Monday… ( Monday was a last minute add on.. Originally it was only supposed to be for the weekend… but what the heck!! Then I called yesterday to add the DDP and guess what they had cancellations for BWV preferred room for this weekend.. So now we have may 10th and 11 at BWV and May 12th at SSR One bedroom …

I should be gearing up for the weekend... but a different light had shed my way... I just got a call from home (my parents retired and went back home to China) and was told that my dad was admitted yesterday in the hospital. They won't tell me anything :confused3 , all my mom explained in her text message was it is all routine:sad2: . But my dad is not the I am in pain I need to be in the hospital.. complain..complain.. whine.. whine.. type. As much as possible he stays away from the hospital. So for him to agree to go in and be admitted is not routine for him. I know I am rambling... I just don't know what else to do. I already checked for flights to go home isntead. Please include him in your prayers. It will be greatly appreciated. :sad1:

MeMom!!! Thank you... I am just a wreck right now. I have been on hold on the phone, they are trying to connect me to the hospital wing where my dad is. I was able to talk to him but got disconnected. Cat scan was negative, blood work were fine but they cannot identify why his left thigh is swollen. My dad have a history of enlargement of the varicuse veins. The veins according to what they told my dad have infection :confused3 so now they have put him on antibiotic since the oral meds did not work last week. He is a walking patient which is a good sign... I hope... "still listening to the hospital tune./. still on hold".

Nancy... when I got home there was a pink sleep at my door I will pick it up in the morning thank you...

it is now 1PM their time and I was able to talk to my mom. All the blood work and scans and echocardio etc were negative. They just cannot find why the swelling of the left leg wont go down. He is now on triple dose antibiotic and will keep him for further observation. I did have them faxed me all his results and so far my friend at work did go through the result and have said the same thing:headache: :mad: all they can think of is that it is the varicose veines that os causing havoc and infected. Where did the infection originated they cannot pin point. The blood cultures are still cooking again mrsa and vre came out negative which is a big relief for me. I am somewhat releive also when I talked to my mom ( just hang up with her minutes before I started typing this). My mom is the panicky weak type. It has been me and my dad who have been her leaning post but for a change she sound positive and perky and tells me over and over that there is really nothing to worry... budget wise they are OK. Doctors and nurses has been in tow 24/7 I just hope that she really means what she tells me and not just making face so I wont worry.

Booked AKV for one night last April 24 checking out 25th... room was not ready when I got there.. which was understandable.. it was 7Am.. they gave me a number to call... called around noon just hoping that it might be ready...

CM: it is not ready but almost ready call back in 30 minutes...

CM: it is not ready plus check in time is at 4PM
Timmy: Lisa the CM who answered my 1st call adviced me to call back in 30 minutes.
CM (Joyce): Welll she is wrong check in is at 4PM, it is only 1PM rooms are not ready at this times. DVC is no different with Hotel check in.
Timmy: Ma'am the only reason why I am calling was because I was adviced to do so. And there were multiple times that I was able to check in before 4PM
CM (Joyce): You got lucky!
Timmy: SIGH I will try to call again later thank you.

Went to the parks.. walk around.. called again around 6PM Rooms ready... Thye situate me at Timbuktu!!! "gasping for breath" !!! Before going up.. gave the bell service that piece of stub for the luggage to be brought up. CM asked will you be in the room to receive the luggages... :yes:!!! Got in the room... Phone rang... pick up...

Dashed to the elevator.... Got to the bell desk... and the luggages are now on that trolley thing... My eyes got :eek:

Timmy: "Giggling... extra happy" OMG She is wonderful (CM next to the CM who said next to me)... She was the best thing for me today... she checked me in.. explain what I need to expect... gave me numbers to call.. wished me a great day... enthusiastic enough to welcome me since it is my 1st time to try AKV... after that "still telling this like I was so excited like I wont the lottery" everything went down hill...
CM: Oh .. I am sorry to hear that... what happend...
Timmy: went on with her gospel in a giddy way.... started the conversation as... OMG.. Let me tell you my experince... evnetually all the peeps who were inline.. started laughing and snickering... even the guest who was being helped by the nice CM ( sad that I was not able to get her name) said .. I should be thankful I got you to check me in. One guest at the back said... is she really happy or is she being sarcastic.
Timmy: "still bouncy" But I promised you... you will never be bothered by the guest from hell... And that will make the real AKV lovers have more space to check in for...

As I was getting in on the elevator... another couple made it... and told me... I heard how hillarious you told your story.. from afar you sound like you really just having a great time here not until i listened what you were saying that me and my husband realize you were venting the mishaps... we had some rude problems ourselves when we checked in.

after being furious I went down to the shop and started buying stuff I need to take home... and that took me 3 hours... me and poohbear67 were working the floors...:lmao: there were 3 guest that I was able to help... 1st where to find a box/p.o... he is from UK ... CM told him he does not know and he just need to look it up in the phone directory!!! OK this is a guest from UK!!! Second guest... needed direction to get to Publix... 3rd guest... needed a little fyi on how to work the buses and the ferry boat to save the most time and wait... then met the last family... we chatted about how much we love wdw etc.. and then off I went to go to my room while Poohbear67 stayed to lounge around...

Phone rang.... CM who I told my story called and gave her apology about the problems I encountered and will make a note to her mabager about the whole scenario.. we hope you come back etc..etc..etc.. I just listened... I said thank you at the end and have a good night.

I went down again for another bag of salt water tuffy that I needed in my list... the 3rd guest I met was still at the lobby... came over and explained to me... that he went to the CM and told her how much he and his wife got more FYI's from me than to the CM they asked. That they believed that my complains were ligit etc. and that they just need to improve their emergency infos. I was thankful to them... :cloud9: and all my anxiety had washed away... that I am not really a raging lunatic :rotfl:

It all happend Saturday, May 10,2008!!! I picked up my aunt at around 3:30AM since our flight was at 6:10AM. We were on time it was my aunt's 1st time and she was a giddy as a six year old when I got to her house. We manage to find a good spot at the economy parking lot and got to check in with no problem. We carried our luggages since we are press for time and don't have any to waste at the conveyer belt. We even manage to get early at MCO. As soon as we land we head straight to the shuttle area to pick our car at Enterprise!!! And guess what car I got ??? The same car I drove two weeks ago... The Silver Caliber ( sp?? not sure if thats how it is spelled...) :lmao: As we head to BWV all I can hear are short stop breathing and giggles.. I had to glance at my aunt from time to time to see just in case she is turning blue :lmao: Our room was ready... facing the pool... not bad.. really did not have the time to enjoy the room since we did commando style at the parks...

As soon as we got in the room.. I ask my aunt to change to a much more comfortable shoes/slippers... WELL!!!!!!!! guess what????? she brought a new pair of Berkinstocks that was never been braking in!!! arrgghhhhhhhh!!! I explained this to her prior to our departure... but just like a six year she insisted she have to wear something new since this is her trip of a lifetime... Ok..Ok..Ok.. fine!!! Dont tell me later that you are in pain... She gave me the annoyed look and said.. I know this slippers they are great and never gave me problem...:scared:

Hope everybody is back on their regular routine. I had a great time spending some time with my DGS Dean and Chad and their family. I worked Saturday and drive to AC, NJ that night. I had a couple of stops... 1st I met some friends from Virginia who drove to also to AC for the weekend. I have never seen AC's boardwalk this busy!!!

Well it is now Sunday... not including today .. 5 more working days then off to see the Mouse with my friend Sarah!!! and I made us a 48 hour surival kit.. I told Sarah nothing should slow us down!!! From DHS we decided to check in 1st at POP. Since the only thing Sarah is interested in doing is the Spaceship Earth since she missed it last January.

Got to POP and we were given a room in the 50's :faint: I dont like that side of the POP I had bad experiences and was asking the CM if they can move us anywhere on the other side... No such luck... Also this is the 1st trip I did not bring any sheets since we are only going to be there for 48 hours. I did bring my own pillow cases and a cotton pashmina like shawl to place over the sheets.

Got to the room and no visible stuff can be seen.. Mind you this is Sarah's 1st trip with me ... so she has no ideas about my ziplock bag addiction. Pulled off the comforter... I never use them :eek: !!! And Sarah was looking at me like WHAT???? There were a couple of little broken hair on my white bed sheets... hmm I told myself it is ok its nothing... after washing our faces and hands ... we are ready to head to EPCOT...

we tried checking Soarin but that was a almost 2 hour wauit and so we did the single rider at Test Track.. by this time the battery of the camera died already :lmao: After TT we decided to just go to DTD but we detoured via SSR since I wanted to show her my favorite spot...

We finally got to our room and Sarah went to take a shower 1st. As she came out.. she was looking at me and hesitantly ask me... "Did you drop some sqaures in the bathroom". I said huh ??? Squares?? ( Well her niece calls underpants squares because of Sponge bob square pants :faint: ) So after I understood what she was asking.. I said no since I have not been in to take mys shower she went 1st. And so she ask me well who's was that.. behind the the door :faint: Yikes!!! So we called front desk!!

ring..ring...
Timmy: Hi...This is xyz from room 1234 I was just wondering if you have any other clean room ready for tonight.

CM: What seems to be the problem ma'am.

Timmy: The room that we are in was not throughly cleaned. There's broken hair on the sheets of the bed... toilet was not flushed when we came in and someone left their underpants in the bathroom. Def'ly not ours (Yes the last time I complained about a condom they ask me if maybe it was mine and forgot to just throw it away since I found the condom 4 days later under the bed.. thats why now I check under the bed even!) since it is not our size not our color and not our brand!

CM: I am so sorry etc..etc..etc. let me check what I can do for you.

Timmy: Thank you...

CM: Just proceed to front desk and a key will be ready form you.


As we were walking out the phone rang again...

Housekeeping: Someone called you have a problem.

Timmy: yes ma'am there is an underpants left in the bathroom for one..

Housekeeping: cutting me off.. Ok I will have someone over to pick it up :faint:

Timmy: It is ok we are getting moved to a different room.

Housekeeping: That is good then.

Timmy: (boiling) No it is not good, we were supposed to be getting ready for bed rather than being moved.

Housekeeping: Oh ok...

the end of conversation...

we got moved to rubix cube bldg! :yay: got their inspected and was ok... see this is on the other side.. never had a problem on this side.. new sheets... clean trash.. toilet flushed and the sheets where tuck in tight so the bed was really made.. but I still used my shawl and my pillowcases :lmao: and woke up at around 8AM that morning....

Well here in AKL... Sarah only have missed The New Nemo Musical... And I was the one who insist on wathing this. Everytime I watch this from beggining to end I am crying... I tried so hard not to but for some reason it always hit a cord somewhere and I just cant stop. I was really worried that I might bore Sarah... but alas! She loved the show and wanted to watch it again. After the 11:30AM show we decided to do ME and then come back for the 1:00PM show... ME was a bit busy thank God for single riders we did it in less than 15 minutes wait!

and after our quick hellos.. off to take the ferry we go... and we passed by the new offices that are being built by the CR (in Nov. 07 when I was being nosy and trying to coerce an answer from the CMs about the said building... their common reply was it is an extension for offices... with a big silly grin.. No..No.. No.. it is not for a DVC Villa... CR is a convention hotel and that is what it's going to be.. so now it was a common joke for us... that we would want to rent an office space their someday even for just a week :goodvibes ).

I had to basically unplug it to turn it off :lmao: )

a funny story: well you do know by now I always carry Ernie with me so I had ERrnie standing by Mr Push... and we are all ready to Pose... this one guy just decided to walk in front of us.. and all I can do was yell Wait!!! so that is why the picture above looked like someone had ruffled my feathers inside out :rotfl:

and here my new found cousin and 2 nephews.. uh huh I was a hit by the end of the nite.. I was Auntie Timmy:rotfl: to bad we had to go the next day...

so then we had to say our goodbyes... Tina and DH and my 2 new found lovable nephew had to go back to their hotel... and me and Sarah stayed to just hug the castle... so there you go folks.. another trip within my pretrip... I hope all of you enjoyed it as much as I did even though in between there were some not so happy news.. so now on with the Septembre planning !!!

After close to 20 years in operation, Disney's Pleasure Island is undergoing a major overhaul, including the closure of the Adventurer's Club, Comedy Warehouse, 8 Traxx, Motion, Mannequins and BET Sound Stage.

While details are scant, the redesigned Pleasure Island will be a mix of new dining and shopping venues.

Pleasure Island Annual Passholders can request a pro-rated refund.

The Pleasure Island nightclub entry option on both Premium Annual Passes and Water Park Fun & More passes will no longer be offered after September 28. Starting on June 28, a round of golf on the nine-hole Oak Trail Golf Course will become a ticket enhancement for both of these passes.

I better make sure I get enough pictures and visit them for the last time in Sept.. lots of Good memories there...:rolleyes: :sad1:

But I had never stayed at the World without a rental... this are all fresh/new territories for me... and still debating about renewing the AP... you see the pattern here.. I am trying to do a minimal type of planning... we'll see how far it will go...

life in Pa is bussiness as usual... work.. work.. work and more work.. This weekend I am doing 7A to 11P both days... then 5 more work days and then hopefully new photo updates that would be taken on the 19th of July... you see we have a mini meet in Maryland at a crab house with the family (Code Name: Disers :goodvibes )... I cannot wait... and I get to see GMAX again!!! Last time I saw her was our TOT meet last year Sept. 07!!!

Whoa... it has been a long time... time to finish what I have started... the end of 2008 is around the corner and looking back with previous post... the last trip I have chatted about was with Sarah on our June 2008 trip...

Also upto this day I would like to again thank each and everyone who were at my lowest point. The days rolled day by day with everybody's support I manage to come out of that gloomy dark corner. Again thank you for all your support and patience.

July 2008 ... was focused on work...

August 2008 ... was focused on my mom. It was and still is hard for her to accept that her one and only love had passed away and is now in a better place.

September came and it was a nice break... I finally got a week of great friends with great times... This wasa fruitful trip. Slightlygoofy was stuck with us by the lake and I hope even with the remoteness of her room was able to atleast enjoy her trip and also my apologies for keeping her busy. And also it was so great to have met Lucy (slightlygoofy's gal pal).

Also on the same trip I was able to spend more than a TOT ride witth Angwill (equals Angela and William)! (insert picture here)!!! Will thank you for logging my luggage from parking to 3rd floor :hug: And on the same day... I would like to thank AL for not being there since I get to eat more than I should...



The second day... I was able to meet Tanya and family, Alicia and family, becky and family, Rob and Joe... even though I was late... yes I admit I was late... it was great meeting all of you... (insert picture)

The reason why I was late...

... of I went to meet Nh_Bubba and Wirki and DH and Nie for Adventure's Club. It was a great night and great way to experience the last hooorah of this comedy club!!! Wirki aka Deb sure got great elbows.. she got us great sits!!! (picture insert here)!!! And thank God I did not bore Bart... hahaha well I did bribe him for some good coffee that is why! Great Times! Mandy and Mom and Gmax and Mom were supposed to join us but since it was the day they arrived.. they have jet lag LOL!!!

The 3rd day was a blast... for the love of dis pals... I made it to AK for rope drop... a first in many years... This day was the day Gmax's Mom came to my life. and let me tell you that I just want to take her home with me. Also the same day I met MainstMandy and MainstMandy... so much fun... I wish my mom have the same energy as these two diser Mom's they kept up with the trip... also on the same day I met Wirki and DH ( yes now they are being hunted by me all the time.. I am looking forward for another trip with you guys!!!). This was a diser kinda day... also met a diser who's nick is so close to being as "tinkerbell" (will have to do a search and I know where to find the answer.. to Gmax's RT ;p )

On the same day... but in the evening a bunch of diser more to meet ... and it was the night I met sista keli and DH, crzykid, and got reunited with neinor and family!!!
great memories... POTC will never be the same after that night (insert picture).



The 4th day... was the day I went to Africa and met the tribe!!! The tribe who accepted me in their family I mean ADRs LOL!!! Oh boy this group knows how to make ADRs!!! And now I am so spoiled I dont think I will ever be the same... Aubree thank you for all the great restaurant... (insert picture)... Tonight we dined with jamestew, aubree and family, kat, gmax and gmax's mom and Zackiedawg. Also while waiting we growl along with Vixen and DBF and DD. After the dinner... off I go to to HS to met up with Colleen and Earl and Bart and another diser couple... (sorry forgot the nick.. I wrote it somewhere I swear.. well it has been 3 months ago ;p ). After the heavy rain.. we were able to do the Stars tour... we got stuck in line.. in the very long line and it was all because of Bart choosing the wrong line :hug: but I still love you my GPS Man!!! :)

The 5th day... was our CP breakfast day... the day I lost my camera at the HM ride :( but thanks to the gang I have more picture I think even if I have my camera. (again I was late.. I end up parking at the CM training parking lot and had to go out and come back again :( ) Finally met PennConn and Adrian and again Nie and family. After goofing off with Pooh and the Crew... of we trek for rides!!! kat did dumbo with me in tow for the 1st time :hug:

In all this days... ones the clock hit 2PM... I am getting ready to go back to POP for my afternoon nap... so if you are wondering where I was in the afternoon.. well I am/was napping.
