Ho-Ho-Ho...50 Point BLT Add-on!

My DW and I just returned from the Woodfield Doorway to Dreams store, where we gave each other an early Christmas present: a 50 point add-on at Bay Lake Tower. :goodvibes :goodvibes

For those folks anywhere within reach of Illinois, Woodfield Mall in itself is a wonderful tourism destination, especially with a store front where you can add on points! They made it quick and painless, even though the mall was a frenzy of last minute shopping.

I just wanted to share with all of you that we're now "neighbors" at BLT with so many of you! :thumbsup2

We are considering doing the same. Can you tell me what the incentives were with your add-on? Was it matching developer points? If so, what were the conditions of their use? Also, are there closing costs when you do an add-on?

I wish that I could give you better news - zero incentives. We kept waiting, and thought that something might come up, in terms of an incentive, but they're holding fast at those beginning at 100 points. Regardless, it's something that we really wanted to do, and after early January add-ons will have to be 100+ points...so...

P.S. No closing costs, and no Annual Dues until September 2009, which is OK with us!

Congrats M-I-C-K-E-Y! Welcome Home! Our guide called this afternoon (we had called him yesterday and he was out.) In regards to our add on. He will call back tomorrow to finalize the add on, and since it's 100+ points the incentives were $5 off per point and a matching set of developer points.

Well incentives would have been nice, but at least there are no closing costs. I do think Santa just might be bringing us 50 points!

Yes it is, I'm very glad to be part of such a great and convent DVC resort built as part of a true WDW landmark. I do hope you will have the opportunity to stay there next DEC. That's great info on the Tempo Fountain, 80 spots, that's close.

we just got back. We are new owners of 175 SS points, and wanted to see BLT live and in person. We were shocked at how much the websites and pix don't do it justice! We really liked it, and we are more the SS or OKW types....so we just HAD to add on 25 points! Our gift to each other! So we were going to do 160 points, now we have 200! Lots more Disney in our futures! Merry Christmas, everyone!

you know my guide did not even mention the fountain thing - and I added 120 points - maybe should call again. adding another 40...

just not sure if the fountain is worth it.

remember the less points you need for a 5 day stay are 60 points - standard view. 87 points - mK.
