Misunderstanding?

I appreciate the misunderstanding I have had with Nature over my perennial border. I think it is a flower garden, she thinks it is a meadow lacking grass, and tries to correct the error.

Obviously I have a huge communication gap going with mother nature about my side flower beds! I spent all weekend pulling weeds - and I noticed yesterday as I was walking out to the car - that either I missed a bunch - or they are leaping up over night! YIKES!

I think weeds <b>do</b> leap up overnight :( I wish my annuals were as tenacious and hearty as the weeds :)
