*sigh* we just came back from a trip so we have to save up some money for another one. So we are going back in 2010, is anyone else going that year?

We are! No trip in 09 for us - we have to wait one whole year! Glad to see there are some planning for '10!

Yes, I definatly know what you mean. When people say that they only have like 1 week or more left I get jealous because that used to be me saying that and now it's 489 days.

Oh well, here's to planning for 2010!!

Count us in!!! We were there 12/6-12/14. We came home and had 9 days to get ready for Christmas. Yesterday, I woke up with Disney and Christmas behind us. Took a deep breath...and I'm ready to start planning the next trip. We'll leave 12/26/2010...we're now less than two years away!!! I'm looking quite forward to starting the planning again. It'll be strange to take a year off but, it will be that much more exciting to get back there in 2010.

okay so maybe not...DH express his disinterest in the cruise....All total it was going to cost us around $7500...No thank you if we all are not looking forward to it...So we just cancelled the cruise and booked Thanksgiving 2009 instead...But I expect a 2010 trip will be in the works shortly...Maybe the last week of August or if we enjoy Thanksgiving 2009 maybe we will go again in 2010...But for now we are off the 2010 list.

We will be there in April 2010. My nephew is supposed to go with his school's orchestra and band. So if that happens at least my sis and I will be there for a week.:cool1: If it is just us, we will stay at CSR. If we can talk her hubby into taking the whole family it most likely be in an ASMu suite, or off-site. Though if I get an AP we could all fit into one room at CR......:)

So the plan is to go in 2010 during Thanksgiving week and celebrate 2 of children's birthdays. My DD Mae's 8th and DD Margaret's 4th. We hope to travel Nov 19th thru the 27th.

in the pre-pre stage, but feel pretty confident it's gonna happen. Can't wait till the end of 09 to actually begin the REAL plans!

Thanks Mousescrapper, it will be our 11th. We hoped it would be our 10th (nice round number I guess?) but it didn't work out.

The hardest thing is seeing all the discounts going on right now and trying to figure out the best way to plan for so early in the year *next* year.

I'm also so excited that we are really doing it that I can't think straight!

We're looking at May 2010 at ASSp :thumbsup2

The first thing DBF said to me after midnight on Jan 1st was..."We're going to WDW next year - again!" :rotfl:

He's excited to go back, it was only his 1st trip in April '08 and he's been talking about going back ever since :cutie:

Glad to see I'm not the only one already excited about - and planning! - our 2010 trip!
We went every year from 1997-2006, but we haven't been back since. It's been HEARTBREAKING for me! DS just turned 16 on New Year's Eve and I'd promised him we'd be back by then. Unfortunately, paying off our mounting credit card debt (mostly from our wedding in '05), buying and furnishinhg a much larger new house, two years of expensive infertility treatments and the struggling economy all added up to no big Disney trip for us these past years.
:sad2:
Now, we're finally expecting our Baby Bean in May of '09!!!
:cloud9: :cheer2: :cloud9:
We'd been talking about a trip in October '09 but now DH thinks that's too soon with the baby since we probably won't be able to go two years in a row. So....we're planning a 2010 trip!
:woohoo: :yay: :woohoo:
DS would like to go in May but it's sooo hot then, and it's a difficult time to pull him out of school. I'm thinking October would be better for the temperature with a baby/toddler, and also for the cost and crowds.
:scratchin
Oh...And just because it's a year and a half away, don't think I haven't started planning our itinerary and ADRs yet!
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
But for now, I'll just have to be content reading other people's trippies and look forward to the day when I can share the magic with my little girl!

Me! The husband is not enthused but we got back from our trip in October where we tried to do it all and failed miserably and I am anxious to give it another go but do it right this time (read more relaxing!). I am looking at Nov/Dec 2010 (between Thanksgiving and Christmas). Normally I wouldn't take my kids out of school but it was so hot and crowded during their fall break that I am willing to take the chance! We stayed in ASMu family suite before and will do it again. I want to do the Fast Service meal plan and have a couple of meals in the table service restaurants.
I know it's almost two years, but it does make me feel better to say next year!:rotfl:

I hear you on the discounts hope they don't run out in time for us to cash in!

glad to read someone has enjoyed the ASM fam suite and plans to go back again. That is where we are thinking of staying. Do you mind if ask how many in your family and what ages?

We are a fam of 6. In Nov 010 the kids will be 11 1/2, 11 1/2 (twins), just 8 and just 4 (3 DD and 1 DS)

thanks!

Count me in as well! While I'm currently eagerly counting down to my trip in February of this year, I'm in the beginning stages of planning a trip for September 2010!!

We're hoping to catch the free dining if it falls during the week of the 20th, since it will be my DM's 50th birthday. An all girls, no kids trip! Whee!

We are a family of 4...my kids were 14 and almost 11 at the time we went. The girls did well with the beds in the living room...they don't like to sleep together so one had the couch and one had the chair. My husband snores and I took the ottoman cot one night, and I slept fine. I really liked the two TV/two bathroom set up and having the microwave and refrigerator was a plus. Definitely worth the extra cost in Values. HTH!

Saving up for 8 nights at the Polynesian January 2010!!!! :jumping1: :jumping1:

We went on our honeymoon in '95 (then: Dixie Landings) and then went back with our kids in November 2007 (All-Star Movies). It will be a surprise for the kids this trip! For me, the fun is ALL in the planning! DH enjoys it, when he's there...he just can't appreciate a "hardcore Diser" like myself! :rotfl:

What is this time like, typically (crowd level and what not)

I am planning ahead for January 2010 now. :O) Altho, I do not want to rule out November 2009 as an option! Just not as realistic, I am afraid.

So I am looking at January 8th ISH for 8 days, maybe the weekend after....maybe wednesday to following Thursday......... somewhere in those first few weeks of January
