OKW 15-year extension lighthouse time capsule arrived!

Finally, our OKW 15-year extension lighthouse "time capsule" arrived yesterday (the rest is apparently to follow).

The thing really is cute - we have it up on our mantle as a nice reminder that we're going to have all of our contracts until we're 85+ years old.

Yep. We're used to this being in Canada. USPS can sometimes be fast getting items to us, and sometimes they can take forever.

I did get my own digital camera for Christmas. I would love to take a picture and post it but I have absolutely no clue or any idea about where to start to do so. A little ashamed about being computer illiterate. :(

We didn't extend either... when we signed the papers I thought I remembered we were still supposed to receive something either way... ?

I'm really glad some of you got your time capsule lighthouse. I have called my CM, Jim McCoy, twice about this and was told to keep waiting, but isn't this getting a bit ridiculous?

We were told last Spring that we would get it last Summer.

Maybe they should just send us a check for $20.00 and tell us they cannot deliver. :thumbsup2

We recieved our lighthouse quite a while ago after we extended our membership. We have not recieved our picture, and that is what I am really looking forward to!! I wonder how much longer??

We also got ours a month or so ago. We are still waiting for our AKV gift. No word on thats yet (and that was a looooong time ago). :sad:

I just sent this letter to my CM:

Hi, Jim,

Just want to put some pressure on you to get me the OKW extension time capsule and lithograph that were promised to me back in November of 2007 when I paid $750 to extend my 50 point OKW contract.

Please tell me what is going on and whether I should just accept the fact that I was lied to and have been stiffed.

Gosh, I am not part of this so maybe I shouldn't say but...
Tom, do you not feel that is a bit harsh?
If others have posted they have just recently started to receive theirs as well...?
I would maybe just ask about it and mention other members have mentioned it being received recently... "Where's Mine?" type of message...

We also received our light house a few months ago, but it arrived with the top shattered! :guilty: I called and they sent a replacement which arrived in one piece this time, and a shipping label to send the other one back. (So they could get credit from the provider. I'm all for saving DVC costs!)

But I'm also more looking forward to the print we're supposed to receive. I want to frame it in an 'aged' frame (i.e. white crackle) and hang it in my beach-themed bathroom.
