Stupid question re Buzz Ride but I have to ask

How the hell do you score on this ride, my mate and I are lucky if we can get around a score of 5000 and thats moving the buggy around and having stops as well!!

We do point the lasers but we don't seem to hit anything!:rotfl2:

Is there a tip to firing these lasers and scoring *** half the time we have our fingers on the trigger and are constantly just trying to fire at anything, its not like we can see what we are hitting!!

Any ideas???

You have to hit the *Z* icons :)

You get much higher points for hitting targets that are moving (e.g. on zurgs arms and gun)

And you get mega points for hitting targets that only appear if you hit a target that are in front of them.

You can tell when you hit a target as they flash. :) The gun flashes too.

was gonna say that too!! even better if its interrupted in an aread with lots of targets and its in emh so ur the only one there!!! (that is my dream, in the hope that i cud get a fab score!!!)

Only time I've had a good score too and we just happened to be right by Zurg :rotfl: , there's a target on him that gives a high score according to my DS's and you have to keep firing in the tunnel bit, there's hidden ones in there too. :)

yes I have often built up a lot of points in the tunnel

If you're after a high score, I find that there's one particular shape of targets which yields a huge number of points (something like 10,000 per hit).

If memory serves me right, they're triangle shaped targets. There's two of them right at the start on the hands of a robot on the right hand side. There's a couple more of that type somewhere, but I forget exactly where.

Happened when we visited last year - had a target in my sights that was giving something like 1000 points on each hit. By the time they got the ride going again I'd hit a score of 999,999 - the rest of the ride was a tad boring as I couldn't hit any more targets!.

As for scoring - you gun will project a red 'laser' - when aiming at at target work out which is yours as quickly as possible!.

Yeah! Lol, in my photos I had the gun up to my face in a sniper fashion!!

Sadly the day I was going to buy the photo was the day they weren't working!

Sniper vision did help me a lot though!!

Me too!! I didnt realise I was doing it until I saw the first photos!!

What I really7 wnt is to do it in EMH and us have a carriage each and a gun in each hand matrix style.

Whould be bad scores as divided by two, but awesome photos!!

Ive done it before and its not easy. I tend to forget about the one in my left hand and use the right handed one mainly

Am I the only one who thinks its wierd there's only one target in the final room?
